“Wilson was wonderful. We are a big order given we have one anxious dog AND my 80yr old FIL likes to walk with his dogs. Wilson was gentle, kind, and patient with both the pups and Dad.”

About: Throughout my life, I have consistently owned dogs. I possess the expertise to train both puppies and senior dogs, as well as administer medication when necessary. Additionally, my background in law enforcement includes working with the canine unit. I am passionate about providing exercise for animals. I work full time and are available2 to 3 days a week. Mondays would be after 1pm. Tuesday are open, and Wednesdays I am open in the morning till 1pm. I have a fenced in yard for my two dogs currently. Both of them are house trained and adorable. My dogs are on a raw diet which takes a lot of prep and care. They go on walks at night with me when I come home from work.
About: I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping their routine consistent, I treat every pet with the same patience and kindness I would want for my own two fur babies. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and dependable hands. Pictures and updates will be provided, so you can have consistent peace of mind. Im currently at home due to it being summer break so I have a lot of free time for the time being. I am very flexible when it comes to time and last minute bookings for the next two months. I have two handsome boys of my own Teddy(12) and Vader (4). I do not have a fenced in yard so they love going out on simple walks, big hikes, lakes, the beach and going to the park. With previous clients I would bring their pups with us as well or just keep them in their own neighborhood and in their routines to make sure they’re always happy and comfortable, It’s definitely all up to the parents.
“Yin did a great job with our puppy Brock while we were away - she came in a few days before hand to get to know him, and despite how rambunctious he can be at first, she was able to calm him down and he did very well with her. She was very on time, would always share updates, and was very kind. Would definitely use her in the future!”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I work from home, so pets receive lots of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I have a clean, calm home with a fenced yard and currently focus on providing personalized care for small dogs and cats. I understand how important trust and communication are, so I make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos while their pets stay with me. I currently work remotely full-time, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy spending time with pets, keeping them comfortable, active, and well cared for in a calm and loving environment. I have a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home with a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and play. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and routines, while making sure every fur baby feels safe, loved, and comfortable.
About: I am a Middle School Counselor off for the summer so my availability is incredibly flexible. I’ve had dogs in my family home since I was in middle school until today. My current dog Moonshine is a Beaglier who is the sweetest girl in the whole world! I have years of experience professionally working with families and children including in-home therapy, so I am comfortable traveling to homes in a professional setting. As a School Counselor, I am currently off of work for the summer so my weekday availability is very flexible. I can plan my daily/weekly living tasks around your needs. I have spent years of my professional career working with children and families. For part of my career that included in-home therapy, so I am comfortable and accustomed to entering homes in a professional setting. My top priority is respecting your home and your pet. My Beaglier, Moonshine, is happy to provide a positive review!
“Hon walked our sweet Maggie 3 times a week for over a month, while we adjusted to new work schedules. She loves him and he has always been a reliable, kind, and communicative walker for our family. We highly recommend working with him for any of your furry friends’ needs. He is fantastic, and we certainly plan on working with him again.”

“Hiral has walked our dog Hank a few times now and Hank always has a great time with her. She sends pictures and updates throughout her visit, even feeds him if needed. She is our go to!”

About: I've taken care of pets for friends and relatives numerous times in the past. Now looking to do the same on here and get paid for what I'm good at. I used to have a cat of my own so they're my specialty, but I do good with dogs too. I'm always available, so hit me up whenever you need and we'll work out times and such. Going on vacation? Sudden family plans? I got you covered. I don't offer boarding since my relatives aren't cool with it, but I can easily come to you just fine. All I need to know is when to walk the dog, when to change litter for the cats, that sort of thing.
“Cindy was great with Kory and super happy to get out for a long walk! Thank you so much for showing him a fun time and letting him chase some squirrels and rabbits!”

About: I worked as a veterinary assistant for a year and a half where I interacted with all types of dogs and cats. I did different things, such as helping with vaccines weights, drawing blood assessments, ear, cleaning, and nail trimming. In college, I was also part of the seeing eye puppy raising club. I love dogs and believe they should get mental stimulation and also love and care! I am currently working full-time so I will mainly be available on weekends. I may have a day or two where I am able to work remotely and don’t have much work so those days I might be free on weekdays. If I know in advance, I can dedicate an entire weekend to your pet! I will adhere to any rules or routines you have with your pet and take all necessary precautions to make sure your home and pet are well cared for!
“Just began out relationship with Mixhelle but from my experience so far she is an A+ pet care giver. Reliable...accommodating...seems to be considerate of your pet. Mine is 17 and has good days and bad...Michelle is very caring in that regard.”

“I can't say enough good things about Rebecca. She was friendly, enthusiastic and reliable. My dog loved her. She walked and ran with him. When we say "Rebecca is coming" He runs to the door , sits wagging his tail. If anybody needs a wonderful dog walker. Rebecca is it.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clyde
I was grateful to find Cristina, especially in such short notice for 4th of July. She was very communicative and friendly. Both of my girls are jumpers and my one girl, Molly, can come off strong at times which can make some apprehensive to approach and turn away. Despite this, it did not steer Cristina away during the meet greet. She handled them with such calm and ease. Cristina provided me with an update and photos after taking care of my girls which put my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone and definitely use her again.

This is the third or fourth time I’ve had Hon come to take care of Woody while I’m on a trip, and I find that he continues to go above and beyond to make sure my baby feels loved while my kids and I are away. I know that my house is safe with him too. We really lucked out with Hon and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Ari! This was my first time using a dog-walking app and having someone other than me care for my dogs, so I was definitely a little nervous. But from the very start, Ari made everything feel so easy and stress-free. I was home the first day to see how my dogs would respond, and they immediately took to her. The next four days, she handled everything on her own—and did it perfectly. She followed every instruction carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and paid close attention to the little details (like removing their harnesses afterward without being asked—something I really appreciated!). The daily updates with photos and notes were such a comfort while I was away. My dogs were clearly in great hands, and it showed. She even brought in a package from my mail lady for me while I was gone—above and beyond in every way. Ari is a literal sweetheart, professional, reliable, and just amazing with my 2 dogs. I’ve 100% found my person—no need to look elsewhere. I’ll definitely be booking her again and again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
