About: I have my own dog (9 years old). I take excellent care of her. I walk with her more than 2 hours every day. I like playing and talking to her, bringing her to dog park. She is my sweetheart fur baby. I wash her food and water bowls every day and give her shower per month in summer and 2 months in winter. We go hiking together and I wish she keeps her nature. I had a problem to find someone to take care of my dog when I was traveling. That’s why I would like to help take care of your pets. Please let me know if there are any specific needs you’d like me to know about your pets beforehand. Example: did you pet take all shots? Your dog will bite or bark to other dogs or some people? Will she/he likes to chase animals? I’m currently semi-retired so I have ample time and flexibility to meet schedule needs. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was always surrounded by pets. Dogs, turtles, bunnies and even the neighborhood squirrels and deer seemed to know our house was a safe place to visit! I truly believe every living thing deserves love and care, and that's a value that was instilled in me early on. We were never able to have a dog of our own growing up since we lived in a rental, but now that I have my own home, I'm so excited to finally be able to care for dogs the way I've always wanted to. I have hands-on experience. I’ve stayed overnight for two weeks to care for a friend’s dog, handling feeding, walks, and all-around care. My relatives also have dogs of all different sizes and breeds, so I'm very comfortable and confident around dogs of any type. I’ve also cat sat for my close teacher for about a month several times as well. Even when a dog isn't mine, I make it a point to visit, bring treats, and make them feel special and I bring that same love and attention to every dog I care for. Your pup will get lots of playtime, cuddles, and kisses, and I'll make sure they feel completely comfortable and at ease with me from day one! I am currently working and taking classes remotely and so I’ll have plenty of time to spend time and take care of the dogs. About: I have been fostering for over 15 years and petsitting for about 5 of those years. I took a break for some time when I moved to Texas, and then the pandemic added to that. Most recently, I was taking care of my grandmothers dog.. essentially a hospice situation, and spent most of my time loving up on him. Since his passing, I would love to get back into it so can provide care and love. I’m used to all breeds, but have the most experience with bully breeds chihuahuas, and most medium size breeds like shitzhus, Maltese’s, and schnauzers. Very comfortable providing oral or topical ointments.. nothing really grosses me out. I enjoy providing baths and making sure your furry friend is feeling their best. Especially for my dirty white dogs with the crusty eyes (lol)! Overall, I treat every pet that walks into my life like it were my own. Leaving your baby for any period of time is tough, so knowing you have someone you can trust to be an extension of you is all I want. Additionally, my background in law enforcement includes working with the canine unit. I am passionate about providing exercise for animals. I work full time and are available2 to 3 days a week. I was grateful to find Cristina, especially in such short notice for 4th of July. She was very communicative and friendly. Both of my girls are jumpers and my one girl, Molly, can come off strong at times which can make some apprehensive to approach and turn away. Despite this, it did not steer Cristina away during the meet greet. She handled them with such calm and ease. Cristina provided me with an update and photos after taking care of my girls which put my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone and definitely use her again.
This is the third or fourth time I’ve had Hon come to take care of Woody while I’m on a trip, and I find that he continues to go above and beyond to make sure my baby feels loved while my kids and I are away. I know that my house is safe with him too. We really lucked out with Hon and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
