“Growing up, Kristen and I had a wonderful but at times very high maintenance little Shih Tzu. She always took such great care of him throughout all the good days and bad days he had. Taking care of him involved not only love and attention, toys and fun, but administering eye and ear drops, physical therapy exercises to his legs, giving oral medication, and cleaning up many many accidents he had in the house. When Kristen is around an animal, her attention is fully on them at all times. Not just because she loves animals, but because she is a caring person at heart. Being around animals makes Kristen happier, and I know she would make an outstanding pet caregiver that anyone would be lucky to have.”

About: My family has taken care of cats for years, and I have had plenty of practice walking my friend's dogs. I love cuddling up with any pet that I meet. I've had my own cat for over a year now, and I love the crap out of him. Currently baking for Panera Bread in Raritan, NJ part time and trying to make up some income for the time being. Adorable pets help keep me sane and happy. Living in Hillsborough, NJ. I always make sure to pet and cuddle up with pets and give them proper attention when they properly ask for it. I make sure to keep them under control when they act up, but gently.

“Nickie watched my dog during the day for several weeks when I had an overwhelming work schedule. She was always taking him to new and fun locations around Austin. She would let him swim and would play fetch with him all the time. She was always taking him on great long walks. It was so nice knowing that while I was gone, he was getting in lots of exercise and socializing with other people and dogs. He is a rescue and has some random anxieties but after the time that she watched him, I noticed that he was much less anxious around other dogs and new people. I highly recommend her as a dog walker or dog sitter. She did such a great job with my baby!”

About: My family adopted a mixed Belgian Malinois puppy just over a year ago. Which means I have braved the puppy teeth and puppy energy of the breed affectionately nicknamed “Maligator”. Anxious from his travels, I helped comfort and orient him to his furever home along with training him. My schedule is very flexible due to part time work. I enjoy being up early to get work done around the house and taking care of our dog. Using toys, snacks and of course a good chase around the house, I can keep pets occupied for hours. Most animals are content with snuggling or relaxing in their own space which I am fine with either way. I want every dog and cat to be comfortable with my presence in their home so whatever makes them feel most at ease, I try to do.
