“Noelle was AMAZING. Communication was excellent, her knowledge of cats is great. She looked after my 2 cats for a week. One had some medical needs and she handled them like a pro. In her photos, I could see the cats were snuggling her and happy. What more could a cat mom ask for??”

“Marc was wonderful with our kitties! From the very first meet-and-greet, he was sweet, kind, professional, thoughtful, and respectful, which immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our cats in his care. During each visit, Marc went above and beyond to make sure our kitties were happy, cared for, and loved. He kept us consistently informed with updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that he truly cared about their well-being and took the time to make them feel safe and comfortable. We are so grateful for the care Marc provided and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring cat/dog sitter. Our kitties were in great hands!”

“Chloe has been great being flexible with my work schedule. We did a meet and greet before the first drop in. After meeting Chloe, I knew I could count on her to look after my pups. They warmed up to her, and she followed my directions and beyond. Thankful for Chloe and I am at ease knowing my dogs are safe and healthy from her genuine care.”

About: Pet Care Experience I am a full time veterinary technician, and have 3 years of experience. Who knows dogs and cats better than someone who works with them? 😊🩷 I provide care for all kinds of cats and dogs, with all kinds of personalities. I understand their needs based on age, health, breed, and personality. Along with the Rover services I provide, I can also offer medical care such as subcutaneous fluids and/or medications at no extra cost. Your pet will have a safe, fun, and stress free experience in a comfortable environment. Since each pet is different, I personalize their care based on their needs, breed, personality, and comfort level. Boarding is my preferred service to offer. Selecting this option is discounted, and my availability is more flexible 🌸🌼 Schedule I work full time, so my boarding services are perfect for pets who are already used to a working household. This is also ideal for pets who are used to using a pee pad or litterbox, however they will still go on walks to get exercise and fresh air! While I am at work, pets will be safely secured in a comfortable and appropriate area of my home, and be well provided for. Before leaving for work, your pet will have: - Fresh food and water - Medications administered (if applicable) - Walks / Potty breaks / Cleaned litterbox / Fresh pee pads - Playtime and exercise Once I return home, your pet will receive more potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, affection, and any additional care they need. I board 7 days a week with pre-arranged drop off and pick up times. House Sitting I am available during the weekends starting Fridays after 7pm into Sundays, and on Holidays when my clinic is closed. On rotating Saturdays I do work a 6 hour shift, so your pet will be left alone for that period only, and I will return after. Drop Ins I am fully available for 3 drop in visits on Wednesdays, Saturdays (Before and after work) and Sundays. Environment I live in an apartment with two other responsible adults who are respectful of the pets in my care. While they may interact with your pet, their care is my sole responsibility. Your pet will be staying in my clean, secure, and spacious bedroom while having free access to roam between my room and another bedroom (provided your pet gets along with my dog) She is a 4 year old Yorkie and is very friendly and playful. Safety I always make sure to use the Double Door Rule and take precautions to prevent escape attempts. I also make sure your pet's living space is clean and free of any harmful objects, food, substances, and other unsafe conditions. During your pet's stay, my room is their room 🩷 Trust I provide full transparency and an open line of communication (while I am at work, responses may be slightly delayed, but I will always get back to you as soon as possible) You will receive regular updates throughout your pet’s stay, including photos and/or videos. If there are any changes in behavior, appetite, or health, you will be notified right away. To ensure the best care for your pet, all pets must be up to date with their rabies vaccine (as required by law) distemper, and bordatella vaccines. They must also be free of fleas, ticks, and contagious diseases The safety and comfort of your pet will always come first. If I believe a situation poses a risk to your pet, another animal, myself, or anyone else, I reserve the right to modify or discontinue service. In the event this happens, you will be notified and your emergency contact will be contacted.
“5/5 — Another fantastic experience with Yana! Yana once again went above and beyond. She was 100% responsible, sent complete visit summaries, and shared plenty of photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. She cared for our dogs as if they were her own—lots of love, attention, and care for every detail. Our girls absolutely adore her! We trust Yana completely and couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

“Samantha was so caring and took care of our cat perfectly. She was kind and gentle, and understood Reilly’s personality. She went out of her way to make sure our kitty was eating properly, and gave her treats to keep her happy! Thanks Samantha! We will definitely book again.”

About: I’ve had pets all my life and love taking care of them. I have worked at an animal hospital as a vet tech for several summers in between college terms. Am able to give meds (pills, liquids, shots) to cats and dogs. Able to take care of senior animals and accommodate their needs. I am a masters student at Northeastern University with one class a day and a pretty open schedule to take care of pets. I have a cat of my own and will need to take care of her each day. I will care for your pets like they are my own, follow all instructions, and be respectful of your home. I have been trusted to watch the pets of friends and family for years and love making new pet friends.
“Amy was phenomenal! Not only was she highly professional taking notes when first meeting our pup and asking great questions, but she was attentive and clearly very loving of our dog throughout her drop-ins! Amy was fantastic about updates throughout the day, tons of great photos, and even took Echo out on walks around the neighborhood. Her love for animals shines clear, and honestly is everything you'd want in a sitter. Amy will be our new regular sitter for a long time! Thank you for everything.”
“I was very hesitant to use rover for the first time but Michael was very kind and answered all of my questions. He really took the time to learn about my pups and make sure they were happy while I was away. They warmed up to him quickly and let out their crazy side. I felt like we were in constant contact so I knew my dogs were being well taken care of which really took a weight off my shoulders. He even went above and beyond by sweeping up the dog hair which with a Great Pyrenees at home really builds up fast. I am so happy with how everything went and will definitely be using Michael again in the future. It was truly a great experience and I can’t thank Michael enough he really did and amazing job!!!”

“My first time ever using Rover and I feel I am spoiled with Hadija! She is magnificent at communicating and takes extra care of my one dog with severe anxiety. I can say enough about her.”

I couldn’t have gotten a better person for the job!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
