About: ...because we love them just the same! Hi! My name is Noria. I am the proud owner of a Goldendoodle, his name is Mylo and yes, he is my baby! I have the privilege of caring for several different breeds and size dogs. Young adults, seniors and dogs with special needs. The very shy and temperamental to the hyper and stubborn dog. I love all dogs! Overnight stays are welcome, room enough for your dog's bed and/or crate. Special toys, blankets, binkies etc. are also welcome-us pet parents understand!:- I do volunteer work part time, so I’m home most of the day, and it’s easy for me to dog sit and be able to care for each pets personal needs and necessities. *I do have a flexible schedule if needed which can be discussed I live in a townhome that has a large fenced- in patio area, room enough for dogs to play. Behind my house is a large open grassy area and beautiful trees where I often walk the dogs.

About: Dogs have been a part of my heart and home for as long as I can remember. I adopted my first dog, a spirited Jack Russell-Boston Terrier mix, in 2005, and when I got married, I happily welcomed my husband’s senior boxer into our family. A few years later, an unplanned encounter led us to adopt another boxer puppy—we couldn’t resist her charm! Over the years, our family grew, adding four kids into the mix alongside our beloved dogs. Losing my own dog in 2019 and our boxer shortly after my youngest was born was incredibly hard, but it deepened my appreciation for the unconditional love and joy dogs bring. I was the first in my family to welcome a dog into our lives, and since then, I’ve inspired my sisters and even nieces and nephews to do the same. Though I can’t currently have a dog in my home as a single mom with four little ones, I deeply miss the companionship and connection dogs provide. Caring for your dog would be an honor, and I promise to treat them with the same love and attention I’ve given my own. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or playtime, your furry family member will be in caring hands. I’m a newly single mom of four young children. As a stay-at-home parent, I care for my toddler during the day while my three older kids are in school. This allows me to have a flexible schedule that works around their school hours and extracurricular activities. I understand how important it is to ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to care for your dog in your home, following all your instructions to keep their routine consistent and familiar. Whether it’s feeding schedules, playtime, or quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure your furry family member gets the attention and care they deserve. I also recognize that dogs can sometimes feel anxious when their parents aren’t around. I’ll do everything I can to ease their worries and keep them calm, using the tips and guidance you provide. If any unexpected messes happen, I’ll handle them promptly and ensure your home stays clean and tidy. My goal is to provide you with peace of mind and ensure your dog feels loved and cared for while you’re away.

“Amanda was great with Onyx when we took a weekend trip. She was timely, sent detailed updates, and loved on our boy. She stayed in contact if she had any questions to make sure she was providing the best care. Onyx can be difficult with food especially when we are gone and she checked in for advice. She adjusted well to make sure he was eating. Overall, great experience! Will definitely hire her again if we need a sitter.”

About: I raised my dog as a child for 15 years then raised another dog as an adult for 15 years. I cannot own a dog right now, so would love the opportunity to care for dogs again. I am back in central Jersey, taking care of my Mom full time, giving me available opportunity for dogs 24/7. I have no full nor part time job, so much much down time here. I have a large empty townhouse in central Jersey with only one other inhabitant-sweet adorable senior Mom. There is an outdoor patio and courtyard, that leads to the grounds of the community where there is plenty of green grass to run and walk on. We have a large empty room that I can play fetch with a dog, and throw a toy.

About: I’ve had a dog for almost 11 years but I put I only have 5 years of experience because I was trusted to take care of her alone around 5 years ago. I’m 18 years old and very good with dogs. I love playing with them and taking them for walks. I’m always happy to help! This is a job I will be doing while I’m on break from college so I’m honestly good most days. I would be good for as early as 8 am and as late as 10 or 11 pm. I always watch the pets closely and look for signs of stress or discomfort. I like to give them lots of attention and make sure that they are well fed and taken care of. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness and leash are on correctly and we only go in the areas the pet owner is okay with. I will also make sure they have water before I leave and that they have used the bathroom.

“Susan did great job taking care of our two cats. We received pictures every day. Lola and Ross looked relaxed and happy. We recommend Susan as a responsible cat sitter.”

“Holly did great with our very anxious dog while we were away on vacation! She was always on time for her drop in visits and was quick to respond to any messages. We also received a Rover report from her with each visit which gave detailed information about the visit and included pictures. We would definitely use Holly again!”

About: Growing up we always had pets around. Gold fish, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. It really is a fruitful and valuable thing to learn how to love and care for any creature. I am full time homemaker. I spend most days providing top level care for my two devon rex and not too long ago my senior dog who is no longer with us. In my clients home I can follow any level of play and I would be more than happy to go on a walk with their pet and other care within reason.

“Debbie did a great job. The dogs were happy and well taken care of. All my special instructions were followed without a problem. I would have Debbie back again.”

About: I have had dogs for 15 years so I am comfortable walking and taking care of dogs. I have never owned a cat but have been around them so I am also comfortable with cats. Avoid letting pets on furniture unless permitted. Follow house rules for access to rooms or areas. 4. Provide Emotional Comfort Speak calmly and gently. Maintain familiar routines to reduce stress. Spend time playing or cuddling if the pet enjoys it. 5. Watch for Signs of Illness or Distress Monitor for changes in eating, behavior, or bathroom habits. Inform the client immediately if anything seems off. Know emergency contacts, including the vet’s information. 6. Document and Communicate Leave notes or updates (text, photos) about the pet’s day. Be honest about any issues or accidents.

8. Tom Z.
“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”

14. Kim H.
“I have known Kim for over 15 years. She is reliable, responsible, honest, and kind. She is a great person to have around in an emergency due to her levelheadedness. I have seen her in action as a loving pet mom (as well as a loving human mom!). She has taken care of both my pets and my kids in the past, and I would not hesitate to have her do either in the future because I know they would be in excellent hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needed somebody to care for their pets.”
