About: Dogs have been a part of my heart and home for as long as I can remember. I adopted my first dog, a spirited Jack Russell-Boston Terrier mix, in 2005, and when I got married, I happily welcomed my husband’s senior boxer into our family. A few years later, an unplanned encounter led us to adopt another boxer puppy—we couldn’t resist her charm! Over the years, our family grew, adding four kids into the mix alongside our beloved dogs. Losing my own dog in 2019 and our boxer shortly after my youngest was born was incredibly hard, but it deepened my appreciation for the unconditional love and joy dogs bring. I was the first in my family to welcome a dog into our lives, and since then, I’ve inspired my sisters and even nieces and nephews to do the same. Though I can’t currently have a dog in my home as a single mom with four little ones, I deeply miss the companionship and connection dogs provide. Caring for your dog would be an honor, and I promise to treat them with the same love and attention I’ve given my own. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or playtime, your furry family member will be in caring hands. I’m a newly single mom of four young children. As a stay-at-home parent, I care for my toddler during the day while my three older kids are in school. This allows me to have a flexible schedule that works around their school hours and extracurricular activities. I understand how important it is to ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to care for your dog in your home, following all your instructions to keep their routine consistent and familiar. Whether it’s feeding schedules, playtime, or quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure your furry family member gets the attention and care they deserve. I also recognize that dogs can sometimes feel anxious when their parents aren’t around. I’ll do everything I can to ease their worries and keep them calm, using the tips and guidance you provide. If any unexpected messes happen, I’ll handle them promptly and ensure your home stays clean and tidy. My goal is to provide you with peace of mind and ensure your dog feels loved and cared for while you’re away.

About: Growing up, my house was always full of animals, cats, birds, dogs, fish, and gerbils. I especially loved our dogs and always felt they were part of our family. When I turned 20, I adopted my first puppy. He stayed with me until he was 14, so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I currently work from home, but do have to go into the office once per week. I walk my dog in the morning before work, a lunch time, then again after dinner. In addition to the walks, I let my dog out in our fenced in back yard whenever she needs to go out. My children love playing with the dog. We do occasionally have weekend activities, but we are always sure to be home within a few hours to let our dog out or feed them their meals. Our pets get a lot of love and attention. We love to go for walks. We have a fenced in yard they can roam around or sun bathe as my dog likes to do. We make sure she gets her vitamin every day. We have gates that prevent them from going in areas they shouldn’t go.

“Easy to communicate with. Showed up each day. On time. Seemed to spend the full time with my cat. Was dependent and reliable and seemingly kind to my cat (which is most important). Would recommend.”

About: I grew up spending my weekends on a farm taking care of various animals including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and donkeys. Additionally, in my first year of college, me and my roommates adopted a kitten and split the responsibilities of her care! Monday through Friday, I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. On Saturdays and Sundays I am available in the mornings and afternoons, with an occasional evening opening. Please try to contact me a week an advance. The most important part about caring for furry friends is ensuring that they have a space to feel comfortable with any outsiders. I like to give new pets a chance to get to know me before anything else!

About: My #1 goal is to love your dog as much as you do. My family dog just turned 10 years old and I still have a perfect memory of the first time I saw him as a puppy. I also rescued a mixed breed dog in May 2020, we think she's about 9 years old and is the light of my life. I have also had the privilege of caring for friends' pets including, dogs and cats, and a special mention for my cousin's 7 year old deaf pitbull, Angel. Although I have a lot of love to share with your pets, I know that every dog is different and has personal needs. I make it priority to align my standards of care with the needs and comfort levels of each dog. I hope to become someone who you and your dog can rely on for quality care and a fun time! I'm currently a graduate student in healthcare and have a flexible schedule at home. I'm happy to schedule walks and drop-ins that work best with your and your pets schedule. I am happy to help walk and drop-in on your pets to make sure they are taken care of! This includes making sure they have enough food/water and clean bowls. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications. I will also make sure your pets are safe by carefully entering and exiting your home while double checking all doors are closed and locked as needed.

“Christine did an amazing job cat sitting for us. She is very thorough and sends lots of details. We felt very comfortable and look forward to booking her again!”

“Leigha accepted our short notice booking for a week of daily check-ins with our 4 month old puppy. She expressed that she is new to Rover, but she is definitely a pro! Leigha and our pup got along along great! She sent photos/updates during every visit and respected our very specific requests. Thank you so much Leigha for being so great with Rue!”

“Took amazing care of my cat and did everything I asked her to do.”

About: I’ve had a dog for almost 11 years but I put I only have 5 years of experience because I was trusted to take care of her alone around 5 years ago. I’m 18 years old and very good with dogs. I love playing with them and taking them for walks. I’m always happy to help! This is a job I will be doing while I’m on break from college so I’m honestly good most days. I would be good for as early as 8 am and as late as 10 or 11 pm. I always watch the pets closely and look for signs of stress or discomfort. I like to give them lots of attention and make sure that they are well fed and taken care of. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness and leash are on correctly and we only go in the areas the pet owner is okay with. I will also make sure they have water before I leave and that they have used the bathroom.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover dedicated to providing safe, loving, and reliable care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cozy check-ins, your pup will be treated like family. You can count on me to be attentive, trustworthy, and always on time. I am a teacher, so the summer days will give me plenty of the free time I need to give dogs walks, play time, or drop-ins. I follow your pet’s usual routine for meals, walks, playtime, and rest to help them feel secure. I keep water bowls full, maintain clean spaces, and give plenty of affection and attention. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, tidy, and make sure your pet gets the care they’re used to—plus lots of tail wags!

“Melissa visited Muddy for a drop-in visit. They quickly became best friends. After Muddy took care of a “nature call”, he came back in the house and showed Melissa all of his wonderful toys that his mom and dad buy (mostly, mom). Finally, Muddy went up on the couch and they chilled for a while before Melissa told Muddy it was time for her to leave. He eagerly went back into his crate and was glad that he got a big cookie and a kong to amuse himself with. He said if mom and dad have to leave him, he’d be thrilled to have Melissa come in to see him. Melissa is Muddy-approved!”
