1. Chandupa & Ipsita & Avi A.

“Poppy had such a great time here on Christmas Day! Avi was awesome and took such good care of her. She was the only small dog there that day, and there were 4 other bigger dogs but they were all so friendly and Avi was very attentive and careful with gradually introducing Poppy to them. You could easily tell that Avi loves dogs with how he interacts and talks about the dogs that were there that day. He also sent us videos of Poppy having so much fun. So much so that she was so tired even until the next day! I would never hesitate to have them care for Poppy again in the future! I highly recommend!”

2. Hakan B.

“Hakan and family go above and beyond to care for Snowy. It has literally become her 2nd home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a very caring family for your furry friend.”

3. Tom Z.
“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”

4. Jamie D.

“We had a last minute appointment and Jamie was open to look after Amy!! She was also very flexible. Apart from that my dog was a happy dog when we picked her up!”

5. Lu Y.

“Lu Y was great ! She sent videos through out the day of V playing with the other dogs. He didn’t want to leave when I picked him up , lol. He had a great time ! Thank you so much”

6. Jaimie G.

“Jojo had a wonderful time with Jaimie. I messaged her about meet & greet before booking and she was so flexible with scheduling. I reached out to her with a very short notice and she still agreed to take care of my jojo! She sent me videos and pics throughout the days and it was so easy to communicate with her. Jojo loved playing with Jaimie’s dog, Ollie who is so friendly. I’m so so happy I’ve found Jaimie in my area. If you’re looking for a good sitter, stop looking! Jaimie is the one!”

7. Joanna B.

“Joanna is great. She asked the right questions and was very responsive whenever I asked her one. She kept sending pictures and videos during the stay. Our dog, Luna, liked her and went back to her even after I was there to pick her up. It gives you such a peace of mind when you know someone as caring is watching your pet. We plan to use her again.”

8. Ginnette S.

“Ginnette is Wonderful!!! I am very cautious when it comes to the proper care of my 2 Boys (having some extra physical needs and diet requests.) We started with a meet & greet, and then a day care. Ginnette is everything I am looking for in a pet sitter–providing a calm, secure, safe and loving environment…she gained my trust very quickly. While worried they would be nervous in a new home, within an hour she sent me a picture of them super relaxed sleeping on her sofa. I sincerely appreciated the pics / updates I received during their stay…I know she took extra time to really get to know them. They were happy when I picked them up and Fozzie actually cried for Ginnette when she walked out of the room! I agree with another review that called her a “Dog Whisperer”! I am thrilled to have Ginnette care for the Boys for future stays!”

9. Kate D.

“Hunter really loves going to Kate’s house every week and plays well with the kids and it’s my first time leaving Hunter with a pet Sitter and it was a good experience .”

10. Whitney & Michael T.

“Whitney & Michael were fantastic even with changes to the booking and unforeseen circumstances with my work day. They were extremely accommodating, communicated well and were thoughtful/understanding. They sent photos of Isla and she had a great stay. I will book with them in the near future!”

11. renee P.

“Renee was very kind, friendly, and patient when messaging her and in person. She is very pleasant. Renee assured me that my dog will be in good hands. My dog is happy and I am sure he enjoyed his time with Renee. Thank you, Renee!”

12. Shelly C.

“I cannot believe how fast Jake and Teddy warmed up to Shelly , and they just met her today. We actually also sensed Shelly’s warmth and kindness right away and that is very important for us because we know our boys will be in very good hands . Jake and Teddy will definitely be staying with Shelly again and we highly recommend her .”

13. Jaya M.

“Jaya and her family have the most wonderful environment for dogs. She is welcoming and kind and she obviously cares and understands dogs. She welcomed our somewhat shy retriever mix and made her feel welcome and then brought her dogs out one at a time to make sure our dog felt comfortable. Within three minutes, her two beautiful and friendly dogs and our dog were running thru her HUGE, securely fenced backyard. The pictures she sent showed that she had a good time all day, whether playing outside or resting inside. We feel very confident that we have done best for our dog when we leave her with Jaya and her kind family.”

18. Karom R.
“I have 5 cats and I don't get visits often from people but when I do the cats are usually skittish. However when Karom came to my apartment the cats didn't run away to hide, they actually came up to smell him and see who he was. They are friendly to him and they like when he pets and plays with them. They can sense that he is a kind, caring and calm person.”
