About: I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since the day I was born. I’m a natural with animals and if there is a pet out there I don’t have experience with I’m always willing to learn! I currently work full time 2pm-10pm. My job is flexible enough where I can leave for a short while and come back. I rarely work the normal 9-5 I currently live in an apartment, but I’ve grown up in a home with a fenced in yard and love playing with your fur babies in whatever way they are comfortable with.
11. casey b.
“Casey has a deep love and respect for animals, dogs in particular. He has a bond with every dog he comes across, and has been a very responsible pet-sitter for several families. He really enjoys spending time with them, especially outside where he loves to go on walks, have catches with lacrosse balls or frisbees, or even brushing and just showing love and attention to the animals. He would be an excellent addition to your team!”
12. Allie D.
“I needed to find a last minute dog walker to check in on my boys! I am so happy that Allie was able to accommodate and care for my pups. She went above and beyond to make sure both Zeus and Nick were tired and happy pups and is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend!! Thank you Allie :)”
13. Thomas Z.
“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”
14. Dani K.
“Our dog who can sometimes be wary of new people took to Dani right away and she’s great at communicating before, during, and after a visit. She’s helped us out in a pinch and we trust she’ll provide the same level of care we’d give our pets!”
15. Brittany O.
“Brittany is amazing our Skye loves her and she is so easy to work with. Super dependable and couldn’t have asked for a better friend for our fur kid”
16. Noelle M.
“Recommend. Great communication, loves cats, experienced. Reliable.”
17. Tiffany X.
“Tiffany is somebody I would definitely trust to take care of my pet! She loves animals so much and is an extremely caring and responsible person. I see first hand how she cares for her own dog and talks about animals and I see how perfect she would be as someone to look after a pet.”
18. Courtney M.
“Courtney is a caring and gentle person. She is very responsible and accountable for whatever she does. Her passion is animals, especially dogs and she has had a lifetime of experience in owning and taking extremely great care of her pets. I never met a dog that didn’t love her!”
19. Tracy C.
“Tracy has always been a dog lover, particularly Labs that have always been friendly and docile. Taking them wherever she can, for car rides, hikes or to the dog park. Also, she is eager to help out other dog parents when they are away for an extended time.”
20. Roshni P.
“Roshni was wonderful at taking care of our kitties . We have an older cat that needs extra care. Roshni looked after him, gave him his meds and made sure he was fine by the time she left. She took the time to play and cuddle all our kitties as if they were her own. It’s comforting and a relief to know that when you’re away your fur babies are happy and in the loving care of someone that loves cats same as you do. I’ll be rebooking Roshni every time we need to be away from our 4-legged babies!”
