Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy or providing gentle care for a senior dog, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I do volunteer work three times a week, but it’s only about 15 minutes from home, so I’m still able to accommodate pet care before or after volunteering. My flexible schedule allows me to be available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week at all hours For now, I provide walks and drop-in visits in my clients’ homes. I make sure each pet is comfortable, cared for, and follows their usual routine as closely as possible. During drop-ins, I can provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention based on each pet’s individual needs. For walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and properly exercised.

About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I raised and cared for dogs and many other household pets, which taught me responsibility, patience, and attentiveness from a young age. One of my earliest experiences was helping care for a mother dog and her newborn puppies. Since moving to the United States 15 years ago, I have regularly helped friends and neighbors care for their pets while they were away. In my professional life, I have been an elementary school teacher for the past ten years. My experience working with children has strengthened my ability to be patient, observant, dependable, and responsive to individual needs. I treat every pet with the same level of care and attention that I would give to a member of my own family. I am a full-time elementary school teacher during the school year. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day to provide care, supervision, companionship, and exercise for dogs. Because I am home for most of the day during summer break, I can accommodate regular walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I am committed to maintaining your pet’s routine and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. I live in an end-unit townhouse in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood with nearby walking paths, parks, and green spaces. My home provides a calm and comfortable environment where pets can relax and feel secure. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and daily routines. I supervise pets closely, keep them on leash during walks unless otherwise directed in a secure area, and make safety my top priority at all times. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I strive to provide individualized care that helps them feel at home.

About: Greyhound lady with over a decade training and caring for dogs, including certifying two rescued racetrack greyhounds as therapy dogs through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. I've cared for five rescue dogs over the years — four greyhounds and a pug mix — handling everything from puppy adjustment to senior care, including medications, mobility needs, and end-of-life support. I use calm, positive-reinforcement handling and I'm skilled at reading a dog's stress or comfort level in real time, so walks stay relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also experienced with nervous or reactive dogs, having safely de-escalated an unleashed dog confrontation while working a mail route. My own dog takes 1.5 hours walk per day. We love Donaldson Park and the Highland Park Meadows, Johnson Park, Cheesequake and Morristown National Park for treats. Safety comes first on every walk. I read each dog's body language and comfort level before we even leave the door, and I adjust pace, route, or duration accordingly — a skill I built training two rescued greyhounds as certified therapy dogs. I stay alert to hazards like other loose animals, traffic, and extreme heat, and I know how to calmly de-escalate a tense situation if one arises. I treat every pet with the same patience and care I give my own rescue dogs, and I communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was always surrounded by pets. Dogs, turtles, bunnies and even the neighborhood squirrels and deer seemed to know our house was a safe place to visit! I truly believe every living thing deserves love and care, and that's a value that was instilled in me early on. We were never able to have a dog of our own growing up since we lived in a rental, but now that I have my own home, I'm so excited to finally be able to care for dogs the way I've always wanted to. I have hands-on experience. I’ve stayed overnight for two weeks to care for a friend’s dog, handling feeding, walks, and all-around care. My relatives also have dogs of all different sizes and breeds, so I'm very comfortable and confident around dogs of any type. I’ve also cat sat for my close teacher for about a month several times as well. Even when a dog isn't mine, I make it a point to visit, bring treats, and make them feel special and I bring that same love and attention to every dog I care for. Your pup will get lots of playtime, cuddles, and kisses, and I'll make sure they feel completely comfortable and at ease with me from day one! I am currently working and taking classes remotely and so I’ll have plenty of time to spend time and take care of the dogs. In my home, your dog gets a comfortable space, regular walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles, just like part of the family. In your home, I follow your dog's normal routine closely, from feeding times to walks, so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. About: I am an animal lover through and through and will take care of your babies like they are my own! I am playful and energetic when it’s time for fun, but also calming and soothing when it’s time to relax. I’ve been around animals my whole life, owning dogs, parakeets, fish, snails, frogs, and any other critter who needed care. I currently am a rat mom of 2 albino boys that I love dearly! I would be happy to watch over any of your critters, including cats, dogs, small mammals like rats or mice or hamsters, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and more. I truly love all animals and it would be a joy to meet & care for them! I’m currently a commuter student at Rutgers University, so I do have class Monday through Friday for a few hours during the day. Outside of weekday classes (I will provide you my schedule and we can coordinate), I am fully free nights & weekends. I always let the animal guide the experience depending on their comfort level. I want them to feel safe and secure, and will only do what is recommended by you/what the animal is comfortable with. This could mean lots of playtime, or just sitting on the couch near each other if the animal is feeling unsure, or just feeding & leaving. Each situation is different and I will assess appropriately based on the information you give me and how the animal reacts. I can assure you they are safe as can be with me!
