“My first time ever using Rover and I feel I am spoiled with Hadija! She is magnificent at communicating and takes extra care of my one dog with severe anxiety. I can say enough about her.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I grew up in a home with Rottweilers, which taught me early on the importance of proper care, structure, and lots of love. Over the years, I’ve lived with rescue dogs and have also fostered dogs in the past, gaining experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and routines. Currently, I live in a home with a rescue St. Bernard and a Bernese Mountain Dog. While they aren’t my own dogs, I spend a large amount of my time caring for them, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I’m very comfortable with large breeds as well as dogs who may need extra patience and understanding. I’ve worked with many breeds and mixes, including Rottweilers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, French Bulldogs, St. Bernard, Labs, Doodle mixes, Pomeranians, Boxers, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always aim to provide care that meets each dog’s individual needs while making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work part time as a yoga teacher and 3 days a week in a hospital setting. This allows me to have a flexible schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekend (when I am not at the hospital) for daytime visits to take your pets out on walks, stop in for potty breaks or afternoon lunch/snacks. I currently do not have any pets of my own which makes overnight stays to care for your pets easy. I will come to your home for to care for your pet and offer them the services you wish to have for them. Whether that be overnight stays, daytime dog walks, offering meals, or even just some outdoor playtime in your backyard.

“Kimberly has been extremely reliable and took great care of Penny, Kimberly also made multiple visits at home to ensure my cat was doing okay! Thankyou so much and also thanks a lot for accepting last minute request it was really helpful and lot of relief.”

About: What sets my sister and me apart is the personal care and communication we provide. We understand that every pet has their own personality, habits, and needs, so we carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, sleeping arrangements, and any special preferences. We have a spacious yard for supervised outdoor time and aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel at home while their family is away. We treat every pet as if they were part of our own family and give them individualized attention. We also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents. During every stay, we provide regular photos and videos and keep communication open so you can see how your pet is doing. Our goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, confident, and stress-free from drop-off to pickup. My sister and I work together to provide reliable and attentive care for every pet we welcome. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present throughout the day for walks, meals, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. My sister also helps with pet care, so between the two of us, pets receive lots of attention and companionship. We make pet care a natural part of our daily routine and always try to keep each pet as close to their normal schedule as possible. Whether your pet loves long walks, backyard playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing nearby, we make sure they feel comfortable, included, and cared for. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication (if needed), exercise, and any special instructions. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment, supervise pets at all times, and provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I take the time to build trust with each pet, allowing them to adjust at their own pace and using positive reinforcement to help them feel safe and comfortable.

“Leslie was amazing with our 2 spoiled little mini poodles and they totaly loved her! Not only did she respond to our last minute request she also went above and beyond by pampering their needs by pre-warming their food and walking them in their usual path! She is highly recommended and we will definitely reach out to her again.”

“Kaitlyn was great! She even watered my plants and took the initiative to fill my bird feeder! I thought it was too much to ask, but she did it on her own. My kitty is very shy so she did not see him at all but she gave evidence of him eating and pooling. I had no worries! Thank you,Kaitlyn!”

“Madeline dropped in for dinner time and evening potty with Rutter. She was timely and caring - snapping cute pics too. Madeline went above and beyond spoiled him with pets. Thank you!!”

“Excellent cat sitter! Communicative, sent daily photo updates, and followed all instructions perfectly. My cat was happy and well-cared for. Highly recommend and I will be booking Sara’s services again!”

“Tessa was wonderful! She took great care of Remy while I was away and was always very attentive to his needs. She carefully followed all of my instructions, including giving his medication with a Pill Pocket, and was very responsive whenever I had questions or requests. My flight was unexpectedly delayed on my way home, and she was kind enough to accept a last-minute morning visit so Remy could receive his medication on time. I really appreciated her flexibility, reliability, and great communication. I would absolutely book with her again!”

About: Hi, I'm Alejandro! While I am new to the Rover platform, I’m definitely not new to dogs. I have spent years caring for family pets and helping neighbors with their dogs. Because I’m home full-time with an open schedule, your pup will be my absolute priority. I don't have remote work tasks or office hours pulling me away, so I can offer your dog 100% undivided attention, love, and supervision. I’m offering boarding, walking, and house-sitting services with total flexibility. Since I’m just launching my Rover profile, I’m eager to build great relationships with local pet parents. I’m fully committed to following your exact care instructions, providing frequent photo and text updates, and keeping your dog safe, happy, and active. I can't wait to welcome your dog into my daily routine! I’m currently available on most weekdays throughout the day, and sometimes on weekends. Since I’m a soccer referee, my Rover schedule is based around my match assignments. I’ve got two pups of my own (yorkies) who I love and care for as my children. Your pups will receive the same care from me. If boarding at my place, the house has a fence all around.

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life and have a deep passion for their well-being. I previously owned and operated a successful pet sitting and dog walking business, Barkin’ Good Time, for five years. My experience also includes having worked at Pet Valu and earning a certificate in pet nutrition. Today, I continue to care for my own senior dog, two cats, 7 fancy rats, and a chinchilla, as well as regularly looking after pets for neighbors, friends, and family. Whether it’s a walk, a playdate, or overnight care, I’m dedicated to ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I run a small business with a flexible schedule, so I can offer pet care primarily during weekday hours. My availability is adaptable to meet the needs of you and your pets! I provide attentive, in-home care for your pets, ensuring their safety and comfort in their own environment. I follow your routines, respect your home, and prioritize trust, reliability, and open communication.
“Elaine does such a good job with our mini schnauzer! She gives him the love and attention he needs when we are not available to be there for him and she sends timely communications and updates about her visits with him. We highly recommend Elaine!”

“Cassidy took great care of our two cats while we were gone for a long weekend! She checked in regularly and sent super cute photos of the cats during her check ins. Will definitely use her again!”

“Michael has been absolutely wonderful with our doggo! He has such a care and attention to her needs, and even helped out when she got into trouble and got into our pantry lol. We have a reactive dog, and he's been great with taking her for walks and managing her energy and needs safely. We can tell that she is very comfortable with him, and would recommend Micheal to anyone with a furry friend! :)”

“Jaden is great. She wanted to take the time to get to know my pup before house sitting. She was respectful of her boundaries as Missy has anxiety. We are looking forward to having her stay.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
