About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I have BA from Rutgers and AAS in Veterinary nursing. I passed the National veterinary technician boards in 1999. I worked at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School as an ICU, fluid therapy and neurology nurse practitioner. I trained veterinary students, veterinary nursing student and worked with clinical residents and attending veterinarians. I have experience with senior pets, pets with ambulatory challenges, pets requiring medications and sick pets. I’ve worked with a wide variety of pets including birds, rabbits, ferrets, snakes, hamsters, rats, mice and fish, and other reptiles. I’d love to help care for your pets! About: I have loved and cared for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I raised and cared for dogs and many other household pets, which taught me responsibility, patience, and attentiveness from a young age. One of my earliest experiences was helping care for a mother dog and her newborn puppies. Since moving to the United States 15 years ago, I have regularly helped friends and neighbors care for their pets while they were away. In my professional life, I have been an elementary school teacher for the past ten years. Ronit is a life saver! I recently rescued a Maltipoo on 8/24, Ronit met with myself and Mia the next Saturday. We connected right away and booked! Ronit has come in twice a day to check on Mia and walk her while I work in the office. Mia loves Ronit and it’s evident in the pictures and videos documented by Ronit. Courtney was great; she took great care of all my cats and left everything very clean and neat. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
