I am an avid lover of animals, having cared for my own and others’ pets for over 4 decades. I currently am the proud mother of one human, two cats, four chinchillas, a hermit crab and a beautiful Beta fish. Over the years I have also had turtles, guinea pigs, rabbits, and dogs! I am available for petcare indoors and out, whether you are looking for occasional service or routine. I do think it is important to build trust with your pet(s) and am happy to take the time to do so. I am happy to walk your dog(s) in all kinds of weather! I am comfortable administering medicine and care taking your exotic pets too. During the school year I teach middle school science, where I help youngsters to develop a comfort with and love for living things, indoors and out! My daytime availability during the school year is reduced as a result...

Heidi is an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of our cat and hens. She made every effort to bond with Sky such that we came home to a very happy and contented cat. Heidi has a gift for providing positive interactions with our pet. She is reliable and responsible. Her regular visits provided confidence in our cat that he was well cared for while we were traveling. We enjoyed seeing photos of every visit. Heidi really made our guy feel so loved and cared for that he pushed his "I love you." button for Heidi.
Heidi was excellent with my pups Jimmy and Tommy! She provided regular updates and photos. The pups absolutely loved her- and I had peace of mind on my trip. I would highly recommend Heidi!
I was really worried about leaving my animals for the second time this summer, but Heidi took such good care of my anxious dog and 2 cats, and made the whole experience so pleasant for me. She is obviously enjoying my pets' company and send absolutelty lovely pictures every visit. She made me feel so, sooo much less guilty. She is a gem, and I will absolutely use her again.
Heidi was great with my cats, she sent frequent updates and photos! She went above and beyond with their care, would definitely recommend to anyone for their pet needs.
