About: Like any sitter on Rover, I have a deep love for animals, but what sets me apart is my experience caring for and advocating for pets who may be nervous, fearful, or reactive. I’ve been a proud owner of Maple for the past 8 years. She is a very nervous and fear-reactive Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell rescue, and over the years I’ve worked closely with her to help her feel more comfortable and confident. That has included training, medication, patience, and plenty of high-value treats! Living with Maple has taught me how important it is to understand a pet’s individual needs, recognize their body language and comfort levels, and never rush them into situations they aren’t ready for. I’m comfortable giving pets the time, space, and reassurance they need to feel safe and cared for. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or needs a little extra patience and understanding, I’m committed to meeting them where they are and giving them the care they deserve. If your pet has a hard time on walks, I am perfectly comfortable handling these types of situations to ensure they get their walks stress free. Otherwise, all the more excited to work with you and your pets' needs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m generally available for visits between 6–11 AM on weekdays, as well as most hours on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate regular visits or occasional drop-ins. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed, whether that means a pill hidden in a high-value treat or following specific instructions from you. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you’re away. When caring for a pet in their home, my first priority is making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I follow your instructions closely and do my best to keep their normal routine consistent—from feeding and walks to medications, playtime, and quiet time. I’m especially mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and other potential escape routes, and I never assume a pet is comfortable with something just because another pet might be. I pay attention to body language and let pets set the pace, especially when they’re shy, nervous, or reactive. My experience with Maple, my nervous and fear-reactive rescue, has taught me to be patient, observant, and proactive. I understand that building trust can take time, and I would much rather give a pet the space they need than push them beyond their comfort zone. I also know how important it is for owners to feel comfortable trusting someone in their home. I’ll treat your space with the same care and respect I give your pets, and I’ll keep you updated during visits so you know how your pet is doing.

About: Throughout my life, I have consistently owned dogs. I possess the expertise to train both puppies and senior dogs, as well as administer medication when necessary. Additionally, my background in law enforcement includes working with the canine unit. I am passionate about providing exercise for animals. I work full time and are available2 to 3 days a week. Mondays would be after 1pm. Tuesday are open, and Wednesdays I am open in the morning till 1pm. I have a fenced in yard for my two dogs currently. Both of them are house trained and adorable. My dogs are on a raw diet which takes a lot of prep and care. They go on walks at night with me when I come home from work.

I also offer overnight stays to help pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand the importance of reliability, communication, and consistency when caring for someone’s pet, and I’m committed to providing attentive and dependable care that fits each pet’s individual needs. I provide care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment while their owners are away. About: Hi! My family has always had dogs for as long as I can remember. From puppies madness to senior sunsets, I’ve loved every stage that comes with having pets. During summers I’ve provided in house care for neighbors pets allowing them a “vacation” from staying home all day. I would be more than happy to get to know your pet as well as yourself ! I am currently a graduate students at UD only taking classes 2 days a week. I am quite flexible with hours and more than happy to include daily walks and visits into my routine! Having had pets myself, I pride myself for caring for others as if they are my own. I am willing to do whatever I can to ensure a comfortable experience for both pets and owners!
