Because I work from home, your dog will get plenty of attention, supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day — not be left alone for long hours. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor playtime, and my family loves spending time outside on walks, playing, and enjoying fresh air with our furry guests. We also have children who are gentle, caring, and experienced around dogs. Caring for animals has always been a big part of our lives, and I regularly dog sit for family and friends. I currently work from home full time so your pet will not be left alone. I have the flexibility for walks during the day and a fully fenced yard for play time outside. I have a large fenced yard that pets always will be able to go in as well as a walking friendly neighborhood. We will follow your lead we do allow pets in bed and on furniture but will also crate if that is how your dog is comfortable.

About: Hi! My family has always had dogs for as long as I can remember. From puppies madness to senior sunsets, I’ve loved every stage that comes with having pets. During summers I’ve provided in house care for neighbors pets allowing them a “vacation” from staying home all day. I would be more than happy to get to know your pet as well as yourself ! I am currently a graduate students at UD only taking classes 2 days a week. I am quite flexible with hours and more than happy to include daily walks and visits into my routine! About: Like any sitter on Rover, I have a deep love for animals, but what sets me apart is my experience caring for and advocating for pets who may be nervous, fearful, or reactive. I’ve been a proud owner of Maple for the past 8 years. She is a very nervous and fear-reactive Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell rescue, and over the years I’ve worked closely with her to help her feel more comfortable and confident. That has included training, medication, patience, and plenty of high-value treats! Living with Maple has taught me how important it is to understand a pet’s individual needs, recognize their body language and comfort levels, and never rush them into situations they aren’t ready for. I’m comfortable giving pets the time, space, and reassurance they need to feel safe and cared for. I follow each pet's regular routine, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner. About: I have a lot of experience volunteering at various animal shelters and caring for cats and dogs of all ages. I have had elderly, disabled and animals in need of help due to an illness in my care as well. I have also had limited experience training younger dogs. I am currently working completely online, so I will have plenty of time to care for animals! However, I will have commitments on most weekends. I have a spacious house, with multiple levels, which can be blocked off in case an animal may not be able to use them. I also have a large backyard with plenty of room for larger animals to run around. I have no other pets. I am also able to crate a dog in case they are crate trained, and am quite flexible with any other accommodations for an animal.
