About: I have 7 years experience taking care of my own 80 lb Greyhound, Chloe. Unfortunately, we lost her to bone cancer a few years ago. We have 2 kids who absolutely love dogs and we're ready to love a few more pets! We only care for one dog at a time so your pup can get all the attention they deserve! Since we watch one dog at a time, you won't need to worry about your dog being around any other unfamiliar dogs during the stay. We are located 36 minutes from Newark Airport. Your dog will be in the best care while you are away! With someone home 24 hours a day, your dog will never be alone. While I do have a fenced in yard, I still believe walks are important for every dog. Boarding and doggy daycare options are available during the week and throughout the weekend. Medication administration is also available for your dog. My husband and I work opposite schedules. I'm currently working part-time, but my husband is home when I'm at work, so your pup will be cared for around the clock! Boarding and doggy daycare are available daily. I have a fenced in yard for pups to run around. I can also crate your dog at night or when specified. I can care for your pup however you see fit, including following specific feeding schedules or medication schedules.
“Mary Jo was one of the best care takers we have had through out our travels. She gave our boy all the attention he needed. She kept us informed with lots of pictures and text messages on what they were doing and how Archie was adjusting. We used Mary Jo for two days of daycare. On our second day we had trouble with the bus tour we took which caused us many delays on completing our site seeing adventures then when we were finally on our way to pick our boy up our GPS took us to a different town which delayed us again for another hour. Throughout all these delays and my stress level rising Mary Jo kept assuring me that everything was ok and not to worry. About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

Having had my German shepherd that I trusted only a handful of people to take care of him, I understand the level of trust a pet owner must have for their pet sitter / walker, and I know I can be that temporary companion for them! :) hope to meet your pup soon!! I'm currently working from home so I am very flexible on walks, daily care, and pup sitting! I do request for dog sitting to get an early heads up as we love adventuring during the weekend. But if pet owner is ok with it, I would love to bring your pup along for the adventures!! :) I have a big fenced yard for plenty running and playing fetch, but I never leave your pup unattended! If needed, and your pup is crate trained I have different sized playpens and crates. I understand it takes every pup a different amount of time to get used to a new environment and I work with every pup individually. Just like humans, everyone has their own personality :)

About: I have been petsitting for the past 3 years and during that time I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, as well as chickens, goats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs... and I love them all! In addition to petsitting, I also have 3 small dogs and two parakeets of my own - there is never a dull moment! I currently attend Rutgers University- With my schedule, I can care for your pet in the mornings before class, during lunch/mid day breaks (during the week I have 2 hours between classes around lunch time, which is when I can come and care for your pet) and when I get home from classes around 5pm. I am also available during the weekends! I spend time with the pets I care for, giving them lots of love and attention, and really enjoy taking them on walks too!
