I grew up with a cocker spaniel my family rescued from an abusive home, which taught me early on the importance of patience and understanding a dog’s emotional state. As an adult, I cared for an active young pit bull for two years, which deepened my experience working with different temperaments and energy levels. I’m now a proud dog mom to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lucky, who is well-socialized, gentle, and respectful of other dogs’ space. He helps create a calm, balanced environment for visiting dogs. Our day typically starts between 7–8am with outdoor time in the backyard, followed by breakfast and a relaxed start to the day. Because I work from home, dogs are never left alone for long periods and can settle into a steady, predictable routine. I live in a quiet, low-traffic area in a ranch-style home with very few stairs — ideal for dogs of all ages, including seniors. My home includes a fully fenced half-acre backyard for safe outdoor time and fresh air.
