“The best dog sitter that anybody could ever have. He’s very loving to my animals. He does all extra things that I don’t ask him to do like baths. I do believe he plays with them and has a good time with them and makes them feel at home. I know if she’s watching them that they’re safe.”

“Our Brooke stayed by Radwa while we were off on a family vacation for 7 days. Brooke was very well taken care of and a very happy girl when we got home. She loves Radwa, her family and her pups. It’s nice to be away and not have to worry about your beloved pup. We highly recommend Radwa.”

“I cannot begin to put into words how amazing Yvette is. She truly is something special. My 7month old German shepherd, Cooper, absolutely adores her. I left him with her over night and I knew he was going have the best care with Yvette. She updated me through the stay and I could see that Cooper really was happy staying with her. Look no further if you need a trustworthy and loving caretaker for you furry family member.”

“This is my first time putting our dog Lucy at a boarding house. I was a bit nervous but Anmol and Trupti were amazing from our initial meet and greet, my nerves were calmed. They are amazing people and love animals! Throughout Lucy's stay, they shared several photos and videos which was nice. I felt that Lucy was well taken care of and loved in their home. We will be back when the need arises. Thank you so very much!”

About: In 2025 I decided to go full time and start my own pet care business. I am fully bonded & insured! The greatest compliment I have received is that it's obvious how much I love the animals I work with. I have quite literally never enjoyed showing up to work as much as I do now. Thank you all for trusting me with your babies and your homes-- I do not take that responsibility lightly. Since making the full-time pivot to pet care, my schedule now has the flexibility fit around the needs of your pets. For walks, our walk doesn't officially "START" until your dogs paws hit the pavement! Your dog gets the full 30 minutes with no corners cut. This is true for all of my services. I will care for them like they are my own dogs— their safety is my top priority, and I know how difficult the transition can be for pups when their parents are gone and will do everything in my power to make that easier for them.
“I couldn’t have asked for better caretakers of our pups than Shelly and Bill! Always let us know how our 2 dogs were doing and included lots of fun pictures. Our dogs had an amazing time and came home relaxed which says a ton about how comfortable they were under Shelly and Bills care. 100/10!”

“This our second time leaving our dog Lola with Debi and her family. They’re amazing and so loving, always taking great care of our pup and providing updates/photos/videos along the way! Debi is our go-to sitter and will continue using her in the future. Thanks Debi for everything!!”

“Mohita is an amazing sitter and took amazing care of my pup Stella! She sent pictures throughout the entire trip and kept in contact with updates and answered any questions very quickly. Her family is very sweet and made me feel very comfortable leaving her there. Highly recommend 😊”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who understands that your pets aren't just animals—they are family. I know how important it is to have absolute peace of mind when you are away from home, which is why I focus on providing a structured, safe, and loving environment for every dog I care for. Pet care is a true family affair in our household! Because I partner directly with my mother, we are able to offer round-the-clock, highly flexible care that fits seamlessly into any pet's routine. While I manage a structured schedule during the day, my mother has excellent daytime availability to ensure pets are never left lonely, missed a potty break, or skipped a feeding. I am fully available every evening and all weekend long. This tag-team approach means your furry family member gets the absolute best of both worlds: constant companionship and supervision during the day, and dedicated exercise, walks, and playtime in the evenings and weekends. Someone is almost always home, making our schedule incredibly reliable! I have a fenced backyard and an in ground pool to keep your pups cool during the summer. I also have my own 3 dogs who are all friendly and welcoming.
About: As a pet sitter, I provide personalized, compassionate care, ensuring pets feel loved, safe, and happy, while offering owners peace of mind through reliability and trust. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide loving and attentive pet care. I am also available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. For boarding in my home, I will provide a safe, loving environment with a fenced-in yard for play and exercise. Visiting pets enjoy companionship with my two friendly dogs and receive attentive care tailored to their needs. In clients’ homes, I will ensure your pets feel comfortable and cared for, maintaining routines and providing love and attention as if they were my own.
“Xavier and his family took great care of my dog Emma while we were away. You could tell she was treated well and enjoyed her time there and having a fenced in yard is perfect for any dog that likes to be outside and roam. He’s a great communicator and would definitely use him again.”

“Meaghan was wonderful with my 10 year old Shitzu. She was friendly, loving, and easy to work with. My dog loved her and felt part of her family instantly. I felt like I was leaving him with family. She has a nice house and large fenced in backyard. I was very impressed with Meaghan.”

“Nan is a warm and caring person, and one of the best pet sitter I’ve ever met. She not only takes excellent care of the dogs but also provides them with companionship, making them feel completely at home. The nearby park is convenient for playtime, and unlike some dog sitter ,she gives dogs plenty of space to roam freely. Her family also loves dogs and treats them as friends. You can trust Nan wholeheartedly with your dog’s care.”

“My 4 dogs had the best time with Dhruvit and his family over the long weekend. Our dogs have never been away from us so finding a great dog lover/sitter was not easy. When I saw all the reviews for Dhruvit I knew I found a match for Spencer, Nathan, Winston and Cooper. Dhruvit sent pictures everyday and that just made our time away more enjoyable as we didn’t have to worry. We will definitely use Dhruvit in the future. It’s all about fur babies and if they are happy then we are happy. Thank You again.”

“Bhavani was so responsive and reliable. She sent me multiple videos and updates a day about Bosa’s feedings, bathroom breaks, and playtimes. I will definitely be booking in the future!”

“Letitia was very good with Luca. I received updates and pictures on how he was doing and he seemed to enjoy his time with her and her family. Even made a furry friend with her dog. Would recommend her for your pet.”

“So happy we found Neveen, and so grateful for her for taking such good care of my pups ! It was my first time leaving them with a sitter, and it was such a great experience. She sent updates and pictures everyday, and both dogs seemed so content when I picked them up. Highly recommend, and would definitely use her again.”

About: With over 11 years of professional pet care experience, caring for animals isn't just my job—it's my passion. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles within the animal care field, giving me a well-rounded understanding of pets and their individual needs. I've worked in several animal shelters in positions ranging from Animal Care Technician, Adoptions Counselor, Customer Service Representative, and even Shelter Manager. I've also worked at multiple doggy daycares, where I started as a Daycare Attendant in the playrooms and worked my way up to Assistant General Manager. In addition, I spent time working as a Veterinary Technician, which gave me valuable hands-on medical experience and strengthened my knowledge of animal health and care. I am also Fear-Free Certified! At home, my life revolves around my fur babies! I currently have six cats and four dogs (two of my dogs live with my mom). One of those pups is an 8-year-old Chiweenie with stranger danger, resource guarding, partial blindness, Cushing's disease, and diabetes, requiring daily insulin injections and consistent medical care. My other family dog is a sweet 10-year-old Basset Hound. Caring for pets with special medical or behavioral needs has given me firsthand experience, patience, and confidence in handling a wide variety of situations. My experience has taught me how to work with pets of all personalities and temperaments—from confident social butterflies to fearful or reactive animals. If your pet experiences stranger danger, I'll gladly schedule multiple meet-and-greets so we can build trust at your pet's pace. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress, and positive experience for everyone involved. I'm experienced in administering medications, including insulin injections, oral medications, and other routine treatments. I understand how critical it is for pets to receive their medications on time and exactly as directed, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, shy, or has special medical or behavioral needs, you can rest easy knowing they're in experienced, compassionate hands. I hope to hear from you and your fur baby (or babies) soon!🐾 Pet care is currently my full-time job, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate my time to giving your furry family members the care and attention they deserve. Every pet (and every pet parent!) has different needs, and I believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. Whether your pet thrives on a strict routine, needs multiple potty breaks, requires medications at specific times, or simply enjoys extra cuddles and playtime, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident while you're away. Please let me know what you're looking for in your pet's care, and together we'll create a plan that keeps your furry family member happy, safe, and loved while you're gone. I always treat the home and the fur babies as if it was my own. Everything must be treated with love and respect. Always respect the animals space when they want it as well.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Matawan
This was our first time leaving our husky Blaze with William, when we had to travel. It all went very well. He was taking good care of our boy. He took him for nice walks, sent us pictures every day and communicated thoroughly. And when our flight got cancelled at the last moment, and we couldn't get back home the day we planned, William was flexible to allow us to extend Blaze's stay by one more day. Definitely would recommend him 👍

Grateful for Kayla and her family taking great care of Miles and for last minute booking. Received frequent updates. Very flexible with drop off and pick up. Looks like Miles had a great company and lots of playtime. Would like to book again next time Miles needs a home away from home. Thank you very much!

Karina took great care of Jax while we were away! She has a clean, welcoming home with fenced front and back yards, and she kept me updated with lots of pictures and messages throughout his stay. She’s also a genuinely kind and wonderful person, which made me feel completely comfortable leaving Jax in her care. He looked so happy and well cared for with her. I would definitely book with Karina again and highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
