“Jennifer is friendly and reliable. Our dogs love her and she has formed a great bond with them! They are always happy to see her. We are so grateful and happy to find such a wonderful and caring person to take care of our babies.”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I was a proud dog mom to two amazing girl dogs until recently, and I truly miss the joy of caring for a dog. While my family isn’t ready to have another of our own just yet, I’d love to help others by spending time with their furry family members. When I was young, I worked as a Seeing Eye Dog trainer, which gave me years of experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m patient, reliable, and comfortable with everything from playful puppies to older companions who just want a calm walk and a cuddle. Whether you need drop-ins, walks, or overnight care, I’ll make sure your pup feels loved, safe, and right at home while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule. Typcailly I work from home on Wednesdays and always Fridays. On the work from home days, I don't start until 10AM so I am free in the mornings and will take my lunch for the afternoon walks. In our home, we have an enclosed deck. Gate if needed to avoid the stairs. Nothing on the ground to chew. Pet free home. In other homes, I am always wondering where the pup is. I ensure to keep a close eye if they tend to be a trouble maker.
“Jes was great. She cares so much about our dog’s wellbeing. She communicated with us the entire time and that gave us piece of mind throughout our trip out of the country. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years, rescuing multiple different breeds. At one point one of our fur babies had puppies and we had 8 dogs in our house. We currently do not have any pets so yours would be my only priority. I am a stay at home mom who is no longer working so I am completely flexible to your schedule. It will be myself and my baby (who doesn’t walk yet :)) who will be partaking in walks or dog sitting so I am only able to service child friendly dogs who are potty trained. I have a huge backyard, not fenced in but we go outside with the pets we watch. I have a large neighborhood with nice sidewalks for walks. My house is all mainly one level and I allow the dogs to sleep with us.
“Nicholas was amazing. It was my first time using Rover and it was last minute, I was far away from my dog at home and was so nervous but he talked me through everything and was so understanding! I knew my pup was in good hands and I can’t thank Nicholas enough!”

“Nora is a warm, kindhearted soul. She’s friendly, dedicated and reliable. Always prompt and on schedule, great with communication and loves sharing pictures. If you believe in a pets intuition, I assure you, my pup loves her too. Highly recommend.”

Caring for pets is a priority in my daily and weekly routine. I schedule dedicated time for walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles, ensuring every dog or puppy feels safe, happy, and loved. I can adapt to your schedule — whether it’s daily drop-ins, extended stays, or last-minute visits — and I provide photo updates for peace of mind. With years of experience raising my 10-year-old chihuahua, Henny, and caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, plus my background as a Certified Medical Assistant, I bring calm, professional, and attentive care that owners trust and pets adore. I provide loving, reliable care in your home or mine. I follow routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles, and always send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. With years of experience raising my 10-year-old chihuahua, Henny, caring for dogs of all breeds, and my background as a Certified Medical Assistant, I ensure every pet is safe, comfortable, and truly cared for.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, and two years ago I worked with a dog-sitting company—a truly rewarding experience. I love being surrounded by these four-legged friends, and I have a natural ability to communicate with them. I am currently off for the summer, but starting in September, I will be mostly available after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekends. In my home, I focus on creating a safe, fun, and structured environment for every pet. We’ve recently added a secure fence to our extra-large backyard so visiting pups now have a spacious, supervised play area to run, explore, and burn off energy. In addition, I make sure dogs stay active and engaged with daily walks around the neighborhood, tailored to their age and energy level. In a client’s home, I maintain their pet’s routine as closely as possible—feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and walks—so they feel comfortable and cared for in their familiar space. My goal is always to provide consistency, safety, and lots of loving attention, whether I’m hosting your pet or caring for them in your home.
About: I’m a past doggie daycare worker and have lots of experience taking care of small, medium, and large sized dogs. I love them as if they’re my own children - I have experience with senior care (giving medication, paying attention to their eating habits, doing whatever I can to make their experience the most comfortable). If you have any questions feel free to reach out! I'm only working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your doggies! I'm available most days, just reach out and we can chat on what works best for you. :) When I go to your home, I can guarantee I will treat your dog with the utmost respect, and spend time and care for your pet as if they were my own.
About: My name is Lauren and I live on the border of Middlesex and Monmouth Counties. I grew up with a yorkie poodle mix and a Bichon and was always active in their care and also trusted to care for family and friends pets. I have experience with all size dogs, cats, administering medication orally, and am also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I am currently working as a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker as my main source of income and schedule my daily activities around walks and pet sitting jobs. When staying in a client's home I will follow the pet or dog's routine to make them as comfortable as possible while you're away. This includes walks and potty breaks consistent with their regular schedule, daily feedings, administering any medication your pet may be taking, play time, cleaning litter boxes, walks, and also house sitting tasks like taking in mail, packages ,and watering house plants.
About: My passion for animals has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Whether its a lizard like my pet bearded dragon or fluffy dog, I've never encountered a creature that didn't make my heart melt. Growing up with my German Shepherd, Roxy, gave me years of hands on experience caring for her from her energetic puppy days through her senior years with hip issues. I’ve also had the opportunity to house sit and care for friends’ dogs and cats, each with their own personalities and needs. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how important it is to adjust care based on a pet’s age, temperament, and physical abilities. Whether it’s providing an engaging walk for a high energy dog or offering gentle, attentive care to an older pet, I always strive to make each animal feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine alongside my part-time job. Since my work schedule varies, I’m often available on different days throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I use this flexibility to make time for pet care and ensure I can give each pet the attention and consistency they deserve. I plan ahead to avoid overbooking and to be fully present during walks, visits, or over night stays. Providing reliable, compassionate care is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and consistent experience. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family in a calm, clean, and safe environment. I follow their usual routines for feeding, rest, and play, and I adjust my care based on their age, energy level, and personality. For walks, I make sure each outing is not just exercise, but also mentally engaging and enjoyable. I walk at their pace, pay attention to their comfort, and prioritize safety at all times. Whether it’s an overnight stay or a fun, focused walk, I aim to give your pets the attention, patience, and care they deserve.

Matawan dog parents share their Rover experiences
Dina was very responsive upon our initial booking. She asked great questions and did an initial assessment before accepting the assignment. We appreciated her taking the time to get to know our fur babies and her commitment to their care. She quickly adapted to our one dog's behavior who didn't want to walk long. So she knew to take him back early. She is very personable and caring to make both our fur babies at ease. Thank you!

Ryan helped me with my dog in such a short notice!! Really appreciate his flexibility and patience with my big boy King! He can be very handful for some walkers! He was great with him send such adorable pictures and updates!! My mind was at ease knowing my baby was in good hands!! Would definitely book again and and recommend 100%

Vincent came twice to walk my dog, Tiberius, and he was amazing. He followed Tiberius’s training, gave him water and his meal, kept track of his bathroom breaks, and even sent me tons of pictures from their walks. It made me feel really at ease knowing exactly how my dog was doing. Tiberius loved him right away, and that says a lot because he’s a big dog and not always easy to handle. Vincent had such a good attitude and managed him with no problem. I’ll definitely be using him again!
