About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I was a proud dog mom to two amazing girl dogs until recently, and I truly miss the joy of caring for a dog. While my family isn’t ready to have another of our own just yet, I’d love to help others by spending time with their furry family members. When I was young, I worked as a Seeing Eye Dog trainer, which gave me years of experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m patient, reliable, and comfortable with everything from playful puppies to older companions who just want a calm walk and a cuddle. Whether you need drop-ins, walks, or overnight care, I’ll make sure your pup feels loved, safe, and right at home while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule. Typcailly I work from home on Wednesdays and always Fridays. On the work from home days, I don't start until 10AM so I am free in the mornings and will take my lunch for the afternoon walks. In our home, we have an enclosed deck. Gate if needed to avoid the stairs. Nothing on the ground to chew. Pet free home. In other homes, I am always wondering where the pup is. I ensure to keep a close eye if they tend to be a trouble maker.
“We had such anxiety leaving all 4 fur babies home while traveling in Germany for 12 days. Dawn took amazing care of everyone. She played with them, showed affection, was reliable and timely. We received updates with photos daily and felt very confident Stella, Luna, Munchkin and Tink were in good hands. Trust me not everyone could have handled our dogs. Stella (2 1/2 yrs old) and Luna (9 months) are a handful. Endless energy. We highly recommend Dawn to care for your fur babies too.”

“Jenniffer did so great with my pup! He can be really shy and she was able to help him come out of his shell and go for a good walk. So thankful to her!! A true dog whisperer.”

“Cordelia has been a wonderful dog walker for Pepper. She is very reliable, puntual, caring, and clearly loves dogs. Pepper always barks when someone is at the door but not with her, she is happy to see her! She communicates with us all the time, send us pics and it’s very flexible! I highly recommend her.”

“Maria was great at following instructions for feeding and walking . She communicated promptly about her timing and availability. And my dog warmed up to her right away . I would definitely use her dog walking service again.”

About: I have lived on my family’s farm since I was 9 years old, taking care of various animals, including dogs. I currently have a 4 year old Havanese named Oliver! I have graduated from high school and have ample amount of time to take care of your pups! I am very flexible and will work to your needs. I treat every pet like family - prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine. Whether it’s a walk or a check-in, you can trust me to care responsibly.
“So damn fortunate to have found Bianca. As pet owners, everyone is familiar with the apprehension that accompanies when you have to trust a stranger with your pets or like I say “Your Heart and Soul”. My boys are uber spoiled and Bianca’s level of patience with them….I couldn’t ask for anything more. She is communicative, punctual, extremely professional. She took the time to truly listen and understand Buddy and Brody’s personalities - their likes and dislikes - their joys and anxieties. As a pet owner, one can’t ask for anything more. The only aspect that behooves me is why does she not charge more for her services? Lol. All kidding aside, she is a Godsend for pet owners. B, once again thank you for you.”

“Leigh was able to help us at the last minute. She took such good care of our dog Sadie. We were able to communicate with her while we were away. And she sent us pictures. So grateful for her!”

I do not smoke. I'm a thorough cleaner if needed.
About: I have experience with small and medium-sized breeds, such as my parent’s dog, Enzo, who is a havashu, as well as my current dog, Robin, a 60 lb. boxer with high energy. About: I provide more than just pet care—I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies who need extra playtime and training, as well as senior pets who benefit from gentle handling, medication management, and a slower pace. I pay close attention to detail, communicate frequently with pet parents, and treat every dog as if they were my own. I work full time, but I work from home. I am available on most days and can be there for lunch routines. I am available during my lunch breaks for dog walks. I have one mini bernedoodle, who is the most friendly dog in the world. “I was very hesitant to use rover. I did not like the idea of random people just coming into my home. Then we found Nicholas and I am so happy we used rover. He has helped me out so many times and my 3 year old golden doodle loves him. I highly recommend using Nicholas if you’re looking for an amazing person to care for your dog.”

Dina was very responsive upon our initial booking. She asked great questions and did an initial assessment before accepting the assignment. We appreciated her taking the time to get to know our fur babies and her commitment to their care. She quickly adapted to our one dog's behavior who didn't want to walk long. So she knew to take him back early. She is very personable and caring to make both our fur babies at ease. Thank you!

Ryan helped me with my dog in such a short notice!! Really appreciate his flexibility and patience with my big boy King! He can be very handful for some walkers! He was great with him send such adorable pictures and updates!! My mind was at ease knowing my baby was in good hands!! Would definitely book again and and recommend 100%

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
