Pet care experience

My Name is Kayla & my family and I are excited to offer our services to you and your dogs! We started watching dogs for our dear friends several years ago and our now expanding to rover. In our home there are 2 adults, & 3 children (9,5,1), we are all animal lovers! Although we work your babies will rarely be home alone... We are also proud owners of a miniature goldendoodle. Our dog is a dog lovers too & quickly they make your babies feel right at home!!!!!!! Our baby, Barkley, weighs 25lbs. There is a dog park a short walk away & with your permission, we will take the dogs there - weather permitting of course. We, as a family have pet sat for many friends and family and cannot wait to meet new dog friends. We've watched all sizes of dogs from a Bull Mastiff to Chihuahua's. Thank you for considering us as your pet sitter. In our home your pet will be one of the family. We are here to make sure you don't worry about your pets while you're on vacation, at a wedding or out of town shopping or in the hospital because your pet will be in great hands. We can assure you your pet will be loved & cared for. In return we ask that you are honest about your dogs habits and behaviors. Outside of this site, we moonlight on another pet sitting site, as well as sitting for family, friends & neighbors dogs, we've watched prior to ROVER. As you may imagine, We're quite busy due to word of mouth advertisement. WE book on a first come first serve basis. HOUSE RULES - - - 1) Your dog MUST get along with other dogs, as they will be treated like part of the family. This is for their safety & our fur baby. 2) We encourage a meet and greet before the stay, so you can see who your baby will be staying with & so the dogs can meet. 3) No cage or Cage - . Walks or no walks - (doesn't matter) we will follow your schedule to a TEE, so your dog doesn't feel uncomfortable. 4) We can be flexible when it comes to your dog's pick up and drop off times, however, we do have 3 different children’s schedules to accommodate and prefer - Check in after 4PM and check out after 4pm. We have 3 different bus and lunch schedules to follow and can try to accommodate different times but this works best. 5) We do not like to put strange dogs together. We want to give every dog the same attention. If you need to adjust your stay please let us know, as soon as possible, so we can make plans to not have 2 different guests together. 6) Please be honest if your dog does not get along children! Many people ask why we love dog sitting; I suppose - Its because I've had a dog most of my life. I was without one for a brief period of time but watched family dogs then too - I can't imagine my home or my life without a dog. Their unconditional love is so rewarding. The welcome parade you get when you walk back in the house, is worth its weight in gold. We have a fenced in yard & a deck area and many parks near by to take your dog too. If your dog has special needs and needs medication. Not a problem here - we have experience administering medication also. Many of our guests have allergies or seizures and take medication. So we have become quite experienced. If you have any questions that we haven't explained - please just ask.

You worry about your pet missing you and not eating or being scared, but not with Kayla and her family. She is absolutely wonderful and gave us updates with pics of Kody having fun with the other dogs and the children giving him lots of attention and playtime. We are very grateful for her care of are furbaby!

Kayla was great with our pup! Her family and her two dogs treated him like he was one of their own. Next time we need a sitter, we will no doubt use Kayla again!

Kayla and her family were exceptional with my 6 month old puppy. She was treated like one of the family and very happy. I think she may like their family better than her own now. We will be using Kayla for all our pup sitting needs!
