Because I work from home, your dog will have consistent supervision throughout the day. I focus on reinforcing calm behavior and clear boundaries so dogs can settle quickly — especially when they’re in a new space away from their guardians. I grew up with a cocker spaniel my family rescued from an abusive home, which taught me early on the importance of patience and understanding a dog’s emotional state. As an adult, I cared for an active young pit bull for two years, which deepened my experience working with different temperaments and energy levels. I’m now a proud dog mom to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lucky, who is well-socialized, gentle, and respectful of other dogs’ space. He helps create a calm, balanced environment for visiting dogs. Our day typically starts between 7–8am with outdoor time in the backyard, followed by breakfast and a relaxed start to the day. Because I work from home, dogs are never left alone for long periods and can settle into a steady, predictable routine. I live in a quiet, low-traffic area in a ranch-style home with very few stairs — ideal for dogs of all ages, including seniors. My home includes a fully fenced half-acre backyard for safe outdoor time and fresh air.

About: I have cared for puppies, as well as adult dogs and aging dogs. I love them all and they all sense it when I meet them. I am retired, so I have a lot of time and a very flexible schedule. Also, I am up very early in the morning, and like getting an early start. I have a partially fenced yard, so would be more comfortable with your dog n a leash or inside the house if at my home.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a teenager and I am obsessed with mine now. My dogs are so friendly and they love to play with new friends so I would love to host your dog in my home which is a fenced in yard. Plenty of space to run and a very clean environment. Doodles preferred and non shedding dogs due to my son’s allergies please. I am a work from home mom with two boys who are 10 and 12 who also love dogs. because of my schedule, I am able to be home to take care of the pups. I would treat them like my own! They are welcome to Rome in a comfortable large space and run around in the backyard with lots of walks every couple of hours.

Cristy has been walking my dog intermittently and has always been prompt and reliable! The board visit was no different! She promised frequent pics and updates and she delivered! I have experience in dog watching my family's and friend's dogs and I want to gain more experience. About: I've had pets in my home all my life and have always helped care for them. Including: dogs, rabbits, rats, lizards, and fish. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I love caring for them by walking them in interesting places or feeding them, even sleeping with them! I finally got a dog of my own at 15 and for the past several years have walked her weekly. Now I have 2 and have learned to manage them both while walking simultaneously. I try to go on light hiking trails or to parks, switching up the location every time. I am currently free most weekends. On Fridays, I'm free after 2 PM typically, but occasionally my girlfriend will be free, in which case she can take dogs on Friday morning for boarding. Just ask and I'll let you know when I'm available on a particular Friday. In my home, my dogs are well-fed with a healthy diet of kibble twice a day, eggs in the morning, and chicken strips at night. They each get baths once every few weeks. We also always prefer they are never alone for more than a few hours at a time. If we leave even for one night, we make sure we have someone visit them every few hours for feeding and letting out. Otherwise, we make sure they feel as loved as possible with lots of petting and sitting together!

About: My family and friends rely on me to look after their pets, because I take good care of them and I’d treat anybody else’s pets no differently. I’m home a lot during the week so your pets will get a lot of attention I’m available for boarding whenever ever anyone is ready. Any specific or special instructions needed for me to care for your dog please don’t hesitate to communicate that info, I will follow the instructions to ensure your pet is well taken care of. Although I’m currently working I will still have time to play with your pet or pets to ensure they get the a good amount of exercise. I have a fenced in yard where your pet can roam and be safe with out worry or harm your pet will love it here.
