Full-Time Work From Home Sitter!
I come from a large family of dog owners - I'm 44 years old and have never been without a dog since birth… until now. 2 years ago I had to sadly and unexpectedly put my little girl down. For almost 14 years, she was truly my soulmate and to say I’ve been completely lost without her is an understatement. I decided to open up my profile after that because I really missed hearing little paws walking around. I have no intention of getting another dog for a long time, but I thought Rover would be the perfect way for me to be around dogs again. I’m glad I followed my heart in doing this because so far, it’s been weirdly therapeutic for me. Being able to love on a dog again without getting attached is kind of perfect right now as I continue to grieve the loss of my baby. All that said, my grandfather owned a pet shop in the 60's and 70's, and my father won countless prestigious dog shows with our Norwegian Elkhounds, so I grew up watching him not only train, but I learned how to really take care of animals. I absolutely am one of those that loves animals more than people (no offense 😂). I’ve volunteered at animal rescues many times, and helped to fund/sponsor a senior dog at each one just so they get all the extra love they can :) Owners will have complete peace of mind leaving their dog with me because they will truly be treated like my own. I’ll kick a human out of a bed before I ever would a dog, so that should tell you everything lol. I'll also update you every day with pics and videos so you know how they're doing because if you’re anything like me, I know you’ll be missing them like crazy! PS - I have a bird (a budgie) named Draco, but Rover only lets you select cat or dog for pet options lol. Draco stays in his cage whenever a dog is here so no worries there. Just giving you a heads up though since people walk in and are surprised to see him 😂.

Jessica did a great job taking care of Toby. She is reliable and very caring. We received updates and photos, and complete peace of mind. I highly recommend!

From our initial conversation I felt so comfortable with Jessica. She's very warm, kind and personable and my pup Xerxes enjoyed his time with her so much, he didnt want to leave! I would definitely hire Jessica again and highly recommend her.

As always, Jessica took great care of Rosie on her recent daycare visit. We feel so safe leaving our babies with her.

Jessica took wonderful care of our 3 babies while we traveled abroad, including one who recently had surgery for cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. She had no issues giving our dogs pills and eye drops and sent us daily updates and pictures. Her apartment is cozy and calm and it was a great environment for our dogs. Highly recommend.

Jessica was very friendly and caring. Our Winnie seemed to settle in quickly and take to Jessica quite easily which was great to see. She kept us updated with a nice post & picture regularly.

Jessica was absolutely AMAZING to our sweet girl Addie and we will absolutely rebook her. Just from meeting Jessica you can see how much she loves and cares for the pets she watches as if they are her own, and I had no doubts that Addie was in perfect hands. Jessica is great at communicating, sends pictures, and asks all the right questions to really get to know your dog. Addie had the best time and we’re so happy we found someone as great as Jessica to watch our girl when we’re away!

Schedule
I have my own business and work from home on my own schedule when I want to. Your dog will get full time attention and care from me since I am always home (and I’m big on DoorDash so I mean it I’m always home lol).

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
They will be the king or queen here. If they prefer to be in their crate, I can do that. If they are usually couch lovers, I can do that too. However your dog normally lives at your home is how I welcome them to be here.
A typical day
I’ve used Rover so many times in the past for my own dog and absolutely loved every experience, but I’m so happy to be back as a sitter. I work for myself from home, so I can give ALL the loves, all day, if necessary to your dog. My couch is right near my desk, and my own dog before she passed absolutely loved being able to see me as she chilled on a couch. Also because I’m home full time, your dog(s) will get as many potty breaks as they normally would need, and won't have to wait hours. Whatever your dog's schedule is, I want to make sure I keep it, and also make sure they feel completely at home while here! Being on the couch or bed is never an issue with me either. If your dog is really energetic, we can go for tons of walks around the neighborhood. If you have a lazy netflix dog, I’m fine with that too. Either way, they will get so much love and cuddle time - but, they may not actually want to leave in the end lol.
