“First time my senior dog ever stayed overnight outside her home. Max did a wonderful job caring for her (she's partially deaf and blind) and provided me with updates and pics. It was a very stress-free process for both my dog and me! Highly recommend!!”

“Hedra was very responsive and attentive. He reconfirmed drop off and pick up appointments, and while we were away we received updates and photos of Ralphie, who returned home safe and happy. Highly recommend!”

About: Hey! I'm a total dog lover looking to turn my passion into a paw-some career. I offer reliable walks, playtime, and TLC. Let me be your go-to for keeping your furry friends happy and healthy! I currently am a college student, taking short classes and have so much free time so I’m really looking forward to having something to do especially that I get to work with pets! I have zero pets and live in a apartment where pets are allowed. There is a walking trail provided in my community that I can use to walk your pet/s.
“If they had 10 stars I would give them to Meaghan. She is amazing. We left our havapoo Milo for 8 days with her. After seeing her reviews and meeting her we felt super confident and rightfully so. Milo had a great time. Her family is super dog friendly, loving, caring and genuinely want your dog to be comfortable not just watch him. The photos she sent were not just a snap shot but him doing the things he likes , like staring out a window(like he does at home) , sleeping in her husband's office while he works (like he does with me in mine), to running in the yard and playing with their dog. She gave our dog a home for 8 days not a kennel or doggie daycare(not knocking them) but this is different. I can't speak for other Rover sitters but Meaghan made a customer for as long as she wants to do this. Great person, great family, great dog sitters.. Thanks Meaghan for everything.”

“Danielle did a remarkable job sitting Basil over the holiday weekend. Basil was very well taken care of and was sad to leave when I came to pick him up. Danielle was also incredibly flexible; she allowed us to pick up Basil at a different date / time than we previously agreed upon. I couldn’t recommend Danielle enough :)!!”

“Tina was unbelievable! You can tell how much she loves dogs and cared for our dog so well! Our dog went on so many great walks and outings! Highly recommend! Couldn’t be happier with Tina’s care and updates everyday!”

About: Hi, I have a westie and love dogs. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have a backyard and even take my dog to work with me. Happy to make new doggie pals. Open to other pets potentially too. I have backyard chickens in a separate fenced area, but lots of fun for dogs to watch. My kids are age 4 and 5 and I have them on weekends, so depending on when you book my kiddos might be home too. I let my dog roam free in the house at all times. On weekends I’m home and I have a backyard and we can do walks. On weekdays I do work 9-5 as a lawyer but I work at a dog friendly office so I bring my dog to work with me. I have a fenced yard and lots of love to give doggies. Lots of pets and treats if permitted. I’m pretty lazy on weekends so will cuddle your dog a lot.
“Corrine is amazing! Joey had a great time with her and his furry friends while we were away. It is the 1st time we left Joey with anyone and would not hesitate to bring him back to Corrine.”

“We left our 75 pound lap dog for 9 days and I think he had more fun than we did. He had lots of fun playing with other dogs and looking out their front window. Received pictures every day reassuring us he was being well taken care of. Meg and her family took great care of Rocco. I would definitely use them again if I could get another family vacation!”

About: Dog lover and proud Cockapoo mom! I have a 4-year-old Cockapoo and grew up with dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m home all day and can provide 2–3 walks, playtime, attention, and plenty of cuddles. Your dog will be treated like family and cared for in a safe, loving environment. I’m home all day and have a flexible schedule, so your dog will not be left alone. I provide 2–3 walks daily, regular potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day We live in a clean, pet-friendly townhouse with a small backyard. While the yard is not fenced, all outdoor time is supervised, and dogs receive regular walks throughout the day.

“Had a great experience with MJ! She asked lots of questions to get to know my dog for a first time stay and sent lots of updates. I think my dog had a great time with her and would like to stay again!”

“Brian was so great to work with! He and his family were were amazing and gave us peace of mind to leave our boy Diego over the holiday. Brian wasn’t the closest sitter available but choosing him was the easiest decision we’ve made. We’ve used Rover for several years and for several different pets and I can assure you, your pets are in EXCELLENT hands here!! We are grateful to have found Brian and will absolutely use him again!”

About: I provide a calm, quiet, and low-stress home environment that’s great for dogs who prefer a more relaxed setting. My home is kid-free and male-free, and I only take pets I know I can give plenty of attention and care to. I like dogs more than people so they are treated like part of the family here. The doggies can relax freely around the house, get lots of outdoor time, play, walks, and snuggles. I also have experience caring for shy and nervous dogs since my own dog can be timid in new situations. I’m patient and understand that some dogs need extra time to feel comfortable and safe. Since I’m a teacher, I’m very responsible, organized, and used to keeping routines and paying attention to individual needs. I've been dog sitting for 5 years now. Reach out if you have any questions! I work full time as a teacher, so I have a very structured routine that works well for pet care. I leave around 7:10 and am home by 2:45 on most days. Over the summer I only work 4 days a week 8-12. I’m a homebody and spend most nights and weekends at home with my dog. I don’t like leaving my dog alone for more than 6–7 hours, so any dog staying with me would get plenty of attention, time outside, and companionship. Daily walks, playtime, and outdoor time are already part of my normal routine, especially since my dog loves to play catch and relax outside. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where dogs can feel comfortable and at home. I have a fenced-in backyard for supervised outdoor play and daily walks can also be provided. Dogs are allowed to freely relax around the house and are treated like part of the family. I also have a medium-sized crate available if needed. I do have my own dog who is 3.5 years old. He’s very laid back, enjoys naps, hanging out, and playing outside. We spend a lot of time outside playing catch and getting exercise. My home is kid-free and male-free, so it’s usually very quiet and low stress for dogs that prefer a calmer environment. I truly love animals and treat them with the same care and attention I give my own dog. I like dogs better than people so they will be treated very well.
“This dog sitter is attentive and caring! We are officially a repeat customer and still over the moon about how comfortable we are leaving the dog in such capable hands!”

“Gina was great! We booked last minute and she was so nice about it. She sent updates and photos throughout the visit. When we came to pick up Riley, our pup was happy as a clam and immediately fell asleep in the car. We definitely plan to reach out to Gina again when we are in the area.”

“Shoshana did a fantastic job watching our cats while we were on vacation. Her daily texts and photos made us relieved that they were in good hands. Some of our cats are shy but they warmed up to Shoshana quickly. Highly recommended!”

“OMG!! Madison is seriously amazing!!! Not only does she take amazing care of my kitty, she also reconnected my internet so I was able check in on him with my cameras and made me feel at ease!!”

About: Living with my roommate’s two cats was a surprisingly positive experience. At first, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about sharing the space, but their different personalities quickly grew on me. One was playful and curious, while the other was calm and affectionate. Over time, they made the apartment feel warmer and more like home.
About: As a retired professional, I bring reliability, patience, and a calm presence to every walk. I’ve been a dog owner of two large breeds and one small breed. I have hands-on experience with doodle breeds and their unique personalities. I understand the importance of safety and health. I’ve cared for dogs with medical needs, so I’m comfortable with monitoring, medications, and giving extra attention when needed. Whether your dog loves a brisk walk, a gentle stroll, or some extra cuddles along the way, I treat every pup like family because that’s what they are. As a recently retired police officer, I currently work part-time so my hours are flexible and will have plenty of time for your fur babies. I will treat your home as if it were my own. I will safely walk your dog on leash, and can easily crate your dog, if need be.

“Catherine was awesome with Luna! When I got back Luna was happy. She was well fed and had playtime with her favorite toys. I'll definitely use Catherine again. 🐾”

“Mia always takes the best care of my fur babies. She is super upbeat, dependable, responsive, and sends me so many great photos and videos. I highly recommend her services!”

“Mary and Ginny were a pleasure to deal with. They even went the extra mile to visit at a later time to see if Bobo would come out of hiding and it worked. Would use them again in the future”

“In a matter of days Jules managed to become not just my shy fur baby’s best friend, but also left a lasting impression on me! I’m so thrilled I found her on Rover (so is my cat) and I plan to continue booking Jules for future visits as needed! I would highly recommend Jules to anyone looking for a responsible, caring and trustworthy cat bestie!”

“Kerri was incredibly helpful to me with my 3 cats. She also went above and beyond with taking my mail in and lowering and raising my blinds daily so my cats can look out the window on their perches. let's not forget the litter boxes. She did it all. I absolutely would recommend Kerri and will have her again to take care of the cats in the future.”

About: Believe it or not, I'm actually a cat person, despite my connection with my two current dogs, Puppy (yes, her name is Puppy) and Dante. But I've also had cats all my life. First was Tiana, who was old, but never slow, and she liked the peace and quiet. She also needed medicine daily and I helped administer it to her, of course. Maya and Luna were next. Luna came from an abandoned home and we took her in after visiting her constantly and building trust with her before she hopped in the car to finally come home. Maya was a calico, possiblr the sweetest breed, and she used to sit on my homework to make me pet her, even though she was no short of receiving love! Tommy (the cat in the photo) and Winter were next. Uncle and nephew, respectively, they sometimes fought but learned to tolerate each other through slow introductions, a watchful eye, and at times separation when necessary. They were very loving, though, under all those spikey hairs. I remember taking them in as kittens, and sitting with them as they meowed throughout the first nights while they got used to the big house. Both acted the exact same, ironically. Truly family, no? Cats may not need as much attention as others but I will be watchful and mindful of yours at all times, administer medicine properly and as instructed when needed, and always feed on time as well as clean up after them! I never punish a cat for the mess it makes as well. No one should! All it takes is patience to simply clean up and move on.
“Alexis was amazing! My cat Precious had no issues and I was glad to receive daily update photos on her status. She was great at handling her food and made sure Precious received adequate attention. Alexis definitely came through for a long week of drop-ins while my partner and I were away. Highly recommend!”

About: I love all types of dogs, and am the type of person who can't pass a dog in the street without stopping to say hi and give him/her a pet. I have a dog of my own, Mia, a 7 year old German Shepherd mix. I love her, but she's a handful, so I have experience with dogs who might need a little extra attention and care. I'm a teacher and off for the summer so I have plenty of time during the week (and on some weekends) to walk your pup. Unfortunately, my dog is not the most friendly to others so I cannot host your dog in my home. We'll have fun being out and about though!

About: I have some experience with cats from assisting with daily care in a group home setting, including feeding and basic care. While I am still building my experience with cats, I am comfortable learning each cat’s routine and following instructions closely to ensure they are safe and well cared for.

About: My cat Sonya has been part of my life for about 12 years. I love playing with cats and chilling with them on the couch. If needed I able confident to give any oral medication or treatment needed for your furry friend
“Mary was awesome. She accommodated a pretty short notice request for our first time for a drop-in. And while our dogs can be anxious around new people, she had no concerns and took them out and played with them and they had a blast. We will definitely be using her services again.”

About: I have worked in the animal care field for the past 14 years. I have worked with exotic, domestic, and laboratory animals through my career as a zookeeper and animal care technician. I love dogs and even work part time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility - making sure your furry best friend is well taken care and feels safe and loved is something I’m very passionate about. I've had multiple dogs, cats, and small mammals as pets since I was born. I am an experienced animal trainer and have experience giving animals oral and subcutaneous medications. Currently I have two Siberian Huskies who are very well trained and socialized. I love to take them hiking and to doggy daycare where I work so they can play. They are part of my family and I promise to care for your dog like it's my own! We just moved to the area so I am looking to add in some part time work while my kids are at school or other times throughout the week. I have a large fenced in yard with 2 sweet senior huskies and 2 boys that love dogs! If I need to care for your pet at your home, I promise to leave it as I found it and clean up after your fur baby. They will be safe and loved with me.

“I can’t express in words the amazing job Shoshana did. I never heard of Rover before and wanted to try it out. Shoshana came out early just to meet my dog so they could know each other. Shoshana came to walk her for the booking and treated my dog like she was her own. Her love and affection for an animal that is not hers is unbelievable. I only wish I knew about Shoshana sooner. I look forward to the next time I can use her service because I know my dog is in good hands with her.”

I love animals so much and feel strongly about loving and protecting them. I have experience caring for both young and older pets. I am also an active person and love to exercise myself and the dog! About: I've had pets all my life and been incredibly responsible about them since I was small. Dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles 🐶🐈⬛️🦎 are all in my pet sitting repetoire from personal experience growing up! Currently I have two dogs, one small shih-tzu 🤍terrier and one large German Shepherd 🐕 that get along great. As you can see in-home boarding at my house will be unavailable because of this. I am open to very quick notice sits as long as they do not conflict with my primary job, which is as a restaurant server in a pizza place! 🍕 I will always feed on time 🥣, take pets out to go safely and on a leash or in a fenced area, administer medicine 💊 properly, as instructed and when needed, and accomodate for any other methods of care your pet is used to in order to make them feel comfortable and build a bond! I'm taking care of them, after all -- they deserve someone they'll get to know! If you need someone reliable, intelligent and passionate about animals then look no further. You've found your pet sitter for life! I'm working part-time as a restaurant server as I mentioned before. My schedule is posted monthly so I will have plenty of time in advance to know whether or not your pet can receive my care! And I have not much else going on otherwise in terms of availability. In your home I would be respectful of all assets and living spaces, as well as supervise the pets to make sure they don't cause trouble. If they do I have open communication at all times and would of course clean up after them as well! I feed and take them out or clean up after them regularly, and of course every animal is different so we will discuss what times every animal is used to and fit them in to the boarding schedule! For walks, feeds, or medication through drop-ins we would discuss a schedule as well, be it weekly, daily, or whatever you need.
About: Hi! I’ve been dog sitting for about 7 years and have experience with pups as young as 4 months all the way up to senior dogs. I honestly love them all, but puppies are my favorite because of their energy, and I also love a good cuddle with an older dog. I’m comfortable with all breeds and personalities, and I always try to match whatever routine your dog is used to so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. Whether that’s walks, trips to the dog park, or just hanging out at home, I’m happy to do it all. I can also administer medication if needed, and I know the cheese trick very well so giving pills is usually quick and stress-free. I recently moved to the area and am currently rebuilding my client base, so I’m very flexible and can often accommodate last-minute bookings. I’m a local college student who is home for the summer, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I plan my days around the pets I’m taking care of. On days I have work, I’m still able to stop by before and after, and on my off days I have even more availability for walks, visits, or overnight care. I always make sure to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions you provide. I 100% respect the environment I’m in and the boundaries I’m given. I treat your home like it’s my own and always leave it exactly how I found it, with the exception of a toy or two left out from playtime! My goal is to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

I am available on the weekend so pet parents can get a nice little get away and nights as well. Caring for pets mean that involves adapting to their individual needs and environment. In my home, I provide a safe, maintain routines, give playtime, and keep owners updated with photos. If in the client’s home, I respect their space, follow the pet’s usual schedule, secure the home, and communicate regularly. In both, I prioritize safety, comfort, and personalized care for the pet.

About: Hi everyone, I'm an 18 year old college student looking and lifelong animal lover (I have 2 dogs of my own). I'm offering dog walking and pet sitting whether it's: playtime, feeding or keeping your fur baby company. I'm reliable, caring and experienced with both dogs and cats. I also have experience working at a pet store so I'm very comfortable caring for pets of all kinds and making sure they are sale, happy and loved. Saturdays and Sundays, I am available from 8am-5pm Weekdays, I'm available 12pm-5pm on Monday's and Wednesdays. I'm available certain holidays and will update the calendar. I will take care of your fur babies as if they were my very own! I could walk, play, talk, pick-up, mostly anything you would like!
About: I’ve owned dogs for 13 years and currently have a male Pomeranian, so I understand daily care, feeding routines, walks, attention, and patience. I’ve also been actively working on training, which has taught me consistency and how to understand dog behavior. I know how important it is to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I balance pet care alongside work and school, and I’m committed to providing dependable walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and attention for every pet. My schedule can vary week to week, but I respond quickly and communicate clearly to confirm availability. I’m consistently available Thursdays and Saturdays, with additional morning, afternoon, and evening availability depending on my work schedule. I ensure pets are safe and comfortable in their own home. I supervise all interactions, provide fresh water, and maintain clean, hazard-free spaces. I follow owner instructions carefully, respect boundaries, and create a calm, secure environment. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority, whether it’s companionship, walking, feeding, or administering basic care.
“Jill has been watching my dog for a month and did a wonderful job! We did a meet and greet before she started watching my dog and I felt comfortable and Snowball loved you right from the beginning. If you need someone who you can trust and communicate with Jill is the person for your pet. I will be continuing her services for my pet. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!”

“Mango was so happy after his walk with Audrey! I really appreciated the awesome photos and updates and the detailed report she sent. She is reliable, caring, and clearly LOVES dogs! I highly recommend Audrey and I will definitely book her again!!”

About: My name is Cassie and I’m a veterinary student and previous vet tech. I work with animals on a daily basis so I have experience with all sorts of animals, but especially dog and horses. I have worked as a vet tech since undergrad, interned at the Six Flags Great Adventure Safari with the veterinarian, and have been a horseback riding instructor/trainer for the last 8 years. I always put the animal first and am willing to provide extra care to make them the most comfortable, healthy, and happy they can be. I’m currently in school but live only 10 minutes away from campus so I can easily make it back for breaks and walks during the day as I normally do with my own dog. I also have two horses who are dog friendly so if you would like, your dog would be able to come to the yard and come for hacks with Whisky and my horses! I have a fenced in garden and am close to the Pentlands so I can provide hikes, but also regularly go to the beach with my puppy so I would also be happy to take them there. I am able to provide grooming services including baths and nail trims for an additional cost. As for house sitting, I am very tidy and take care of other's houses as if they were my own. I will also happily clean if needed, etc.

“Tina was unbelievable! You can tell how much she loves dogs and cared for our dog so well! Our dog went on so many great walks and outings! Highly recommend! Couldn’t be happier with Tina’s care and updates everyday!”

About: I love all animals, even reptiles! When I was a teenager I worked at a kennel for a summer job and fell in love with every breed of dog. I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits and small critters my entire life and even backyard chickens! My current pup is a senior boxer/Shepard mix. I am comfortable giving medication and caring for senior and special needs pets. I have a full time job so am available for pet care in the evenings and on weekends. I work local so if pet sitting at my house, I can check in at lunch time. I have a fenced in backyard and crates if needed. My senior dog is chill and great with cats and small caged pets would be safe with her.
“Anmol and Trupti are very loving sitters and my bichon Pye thrived quite happily under their care during my whole week away. I highly recommend them!!!”

“Like many others, my dog is basically my child so I always get a little nervous when it comes to finding a sitter. I contacted Cheryl to watch my 5 year old dachshund for two nights for a wedding we were attending. She was very responsive and was also conveniently located 10 minutes from our hotel. We traveled from NY and therefore didn’t get the opportunity to do a meet and greet beforehand but Cheryl reassured me that her dog Gus was friendly with everyone and when our dog met him, they got along right away. Cheryl has a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around and although our dog typically sleeps on our bed, Cheryl had plenty of comfy couches and dog beds available. My dog is also an incredibly picky eater and eats fresh refrigerated dog food (he’s a diva I know) and Cheryl had no problems accommodating this. She provided many updates which I certainly appreciated. I would recommend Cheryl to others looking for a dog sitter in the area. She did a great job taking care of my fur baby and I would use her as a sitter if we were ever in the area again. Thank you for taking great care of Wilson, Cheryl!!”

“Brie absolutely loved her time at Meghan’s place! I got daily updates and great communication and could see how happy and comfortable she was in the photos and videos. We felt relaxed and assured that our dog was in excellent care and being treated as if she was part of the family. Meghan even included a little goodie bag and was sad to see Brie go, they’re really bonded. I absolutely recommend Meghan (and Rob) to care for your baby!”
