“Karol is a Rockstar! My little fluffy dude and home were so well taken care of... she sent a lot of pictures and updates... Hopefully she will be watching Winston again on my next journey, A++”

“Thank you so much for watching over our babies. I felt super comfortable since we did do a meet and greet before the actual babysitting. She sent pictures every day and we really did feel like they were in great hands. Will definitely book again.❤️🙏🏼”

“Alison is wonderful! She is attentive to our pets and our plants!! We have had her stay in our home twice for long vacations. We couldn’t even tell she was there when we returned!! Alison is a gem <3”

“Danielle stayed in my home for 5 days with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She took great care of them- one of my dogs needed unexpected antibiotics which she just worked into their routine with ease. The house was in perfect order upon my return, my animals happy and healthy. Fantastic job and lots of pictures and feedback! Thank you so much Danielle!”

“Sara was wonderful-sent pictures daily with updates-pets happy and content when we returned home. Our home was left in perfect condition. She is a kind and caring individual who we will most certainly use again. Would give her ten stars if we could! Patti and Bill”

“Kaitlynn took great care of our elderly, anxious pup while we were away for our wedding. She put Lenny at ease which in turn helped us relax and not worry about how she was doing. Thank you for taking good care of our fur baby!”

“Sydney took amazing care of our pups and our cats over a long weekend. We have very needy animals and one very anxious dog but he seemed to really take a liking to Sydney over the few days. Animals just know when they’re in good hands. She not only made sure everyone was always comfortable and happy, she took it upon herself to do some cleaning around our home as well. Sydney absolutely exceeded our expectations and we can not wait to continue using her services in the future.”

“Annette was super fantastic with Shammy. She kept Shammy busy and Shammy was very happy. We will def use her again. She is sweet and compassionate with dogs, and very responsible.”
“Jewel took care of our two dogs in our home for 11 days while we were out of town recently. We have engaged numerous sitters over the nearly 20 years that we've had dogs, and Jewel is clearly at the top of the list. In fact, we've already rebooked her for a long trip in June. The booking process was easy and she responded promptly. Communication with her through Rover was very good. We had a meet and greet, and then she arrived on time the morning of our departure on time and ready to go. Throughout our trip, she kept us posted almost daily on how things were going. Since one of our dogs slept with her nightly and the other frequently, obviously they "took" well to her. As rescues, and one an 21-month old male who is still very much a puppy, our dogs can be challenging in some ways, but Jewel seems to have "gone with the flow" of their lives, understood that there are always unknowns about rescues, and done very well with them. When we got home, our dogs were happy and our house was in order, as she had washed the sheets and towels she used, cleaned various surfaces, taken out the trash and perishables, poop and recycles, watered the house plants, and gone beyond what we normally expect of a house and dog sitter. Jewel is professional, experienced, personable and trustworthy. We certainly have no hesitation recommending her to others.”

“Kaitlin did an incredible job with my 2 dogs. Constantly kept me informed as to how they were doing and sent multiple pictures every day. The boys were well taken care of. Took care of everything in the house and did a great job of walking the dogs both morning and night. Would definitely recommend her looking for someone to stay with their dogs.”

“Alyssa did a great job with our pup and our home during her house sitting! Everything we asked of her was followed, all while maintaining love and care for the most important things in our lives. Her background in animal behavior came in handy, as she was able to pick up on the emotional and physical needs of our girl. She provided updates as we requested, which meant receiving some really great aesthetic photos of our dog playing and enjoying the sun! We came back to a clean house, including the laundry she had used in the guest room being washed and dried. This made returning much easier after a long vacation away. We certainly plan to use her services again and hope to create a lasting relationship with her, should we find ourselves needing a wonderful sitter in the future.”

“Alora was wonderful! She sent pictures every day to let me know how Gwen was doing and when my flight was delayed she was more than willing to stay to make sure Gwen would still be cared for. I would absolutely recommend her and use her again!”

“Tyler is always the kindest pal for our pup who hates being alone. She’s prompt and communicative and is great at getting Remy out for walks even on a very hot day. Thank you Tyler!”

About: We adopted my mixed dog Leo 5 years ago. Being with him all through covid I got to learn everything about him from his body language to his groan sounds and emotions. I enjoy taking him on walks and letting him sniff the world around him, even having the best convos with him it feels like he give the best advice ;) Dogs should be walked everyday more than once sometimes, fed 2-3 times a day, bathed every 1-3 weeks. Then of course playtime happens randomly then love and attention is always. I think keeping the dogs attention and making sure you see when they might bolt to call them off is the trick. Other than that I think dogs are very smart and often know what they are doing and what we might be trying to tell them, then leashes stay on outside, and I like giving treats for good behavior and sometimes randomly for being so awesome.
“Adriane was an incredible pet sitter! Upon meeting her, I knew she'd be a good fit for our pup. She was very kind and down to earth. She communicated well and provided daily updates while sitting for us. We came home to a clean house and a happy pup. I would easily hire her again to care for Clove.”

“Marnesha was awesome w our 3 pups—they loved her right away. She has great attention to detail—kept track of all of their quirks—and an easy-going, confident vibe. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember and have over 10 years of official pet-sitting experience. From family and friends' pets to Rover clients, I've always loved providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for every dog. While I took a break from actively booking through Rover for a few years, I'm excited to be back and look forward to meeting new pets and their owners. I work a full-time job Monday through Friday and work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing for extra attention and flexibility those days. I also have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, or relaxing at home, I'll treat them like part of my own family and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I work full time from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday. Mondays and Fridays are work-from-home days, so I am available to give extra attention to any pets in my care. I am up early and stay up moderately late, so I can accommodate early morning or nighttime walks that avoid the heat. I have a very friendly Australian Shepherd that loves to play with other dogs. Our home is multi-level, so best for dogs that are physically comfortable going up and down stairs. Our location has a lot of areas for walks, and park play, which is a part of our routine whenever watching a client in our home. When caring for a pet in their own home, I make every effort to mimic any routines they are used to. This assists in helping dogs feel safe and comfortable, and leads to a better overall experience. I am a very clean person, so it is important to me to keep others' spaces that way as well.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Flowing Wells
Jewel was very professional and obviously experienced. She provided daily messages and pictures to let us know everything was fine. It is obvious that you get what you pay for. We didn’t have to worry about anything because we knew our two dogs were well cared for and in good hands. We highly recommend her and will book her again.

Kat was the ideal sitter for us, and we feel lucky we found her. Her calm peaceful demeanor was such a blessing for our anxious rescue, Dash. He quickly warmed up to her, which almost never happens, and she even let Dash sleep with her. She handled his medications as needed and communicated with us throughout the stay, sending many charming photos. She was so patient and responsive with my many instructions! Kat even left our home sparkly clean. We just hope she is available any time we need a sitter in the future!

Scottie was amazing, I have a big dog that is part mastiff and still has issues full lunging at cats. Scottie was able to handle her and woul send me updates everyday on how ruby was doing or if she needed anything. I will be rebooking Scottie in the future, and suggest you do to.

Laurie stayed with our two yellow labs for 10 days and nights. She has always been very responsive since the first time we reached out to her. I loved getting her updates and pictures of the boys while we had to be away from them. As our travel plans experienced some uncertainty, she was as flexible as possible. I am confident our furry kids we well cared for in our absence, which makes it so much easier when we are not able to take them with us.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Flowing Wells walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Flowing Wells maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Flowing Wells choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
