I pride myself on being available to the dogs and a present pet parent. I work from home and your pet will be included in my day to day activities as if it were my own. About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me! I just graduated esthetician school and I’m currently starting my business. Everything I make on rover goes towards my career! Im currently starting my entrepreneurial journey. Right now I’m a full time pet care giver. I also work a weekend night job. I do not have a set schedule so I have open availability. I prefer to care for pets in my home but I’m always happy to accommodate whatever the client needs. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for play and accessible paths for walks. During sittings I make sure to not only take great care of the pet but the clients home as well.
About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

“Our 3 year old greyhound, Rowdy, enjoyed his day at Steve's. For Rowdy it was like getting to spend an entire day at the dog park. He had outdoor sniffing around time, indoor lounging around time (Rowdy's favorite past time) and he even got to ride in Steve's car to the nearby park! Steve is very attentive to each dog's individual needs and quirks, and he has the space for them all to be comfortable (separated, if needed) and he is there, where they can see him, for dogs with separation anxiety, like Rowdy, it's the most important. We recommend you trust your dog to Steve's care.”

They immediately put me at ease by showing me their backyard, allowing my dog Bailey to meet their two dogs and they also showed me the areas the dogs rest during the day. They are very genuine and kind people and I could tell they genuinely love dogs. They are open and communicative and sent me pictures, and video throughout the day. Bailey has the tendency to get nervous when we leave her somewhere new and they were wise to keep Bailey busy while I left so that she didn’t notice me go and they gently let her get used to their home at her pace. I will definitely take Bailey again.”

About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. I do not do stays in my own home at the moment as my dog is not always good with other dogs/animals, but I am able to make it out to you to do care in your own home. I learn quickly, and i use this to my advantage as i learn to give each pet their best individualized care.
About: I have taken care of both puppies and adult dogs. I have a flexible schedule and can drop by more than once daily if needed! I’m retired and have an open schedule. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! I don’t have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I’m available to go to my clients’ homes as frequently as needed. About: I’ve cared for dogs for many years, especially my German Shepherd growing up, who was mainly my responsibility. About: Ive had many pets throughout my life. Majority being dogs. Ive had dogs of many sizes and breeds. Ive had three pitbulls, three chihuahuas, two german shepherds, and one saint bernard!! I work part time, my shifts usually being from 6 am - 1 pm on weekdays, which gives me much of my day to take care of your pets! Weekends are a bit more difficult due to the fluctuations in my work schedule but I'm pretty casual when it comes to working around things! I have a fenced yard, its not too big but there is space! I can also take your pet for a walk if they yard is not good enough! I will not leave your pet in a crate but instead allow them to roam freely (Unless you specifically want them to be crated).

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well.
