“Exceptional! Carly is a shy dog with others but because Sheila and David are such "dog people", they sent pics every day of Carly, peacefully laying on their laps! This was the first time ever boarding Carly and she is not used to having other dogs around her but, their own dogs, Mellow and Jaxon were well behaved and welcomed Carly. Mellow even shared his crate with Carly when she wanted a quiet place of "her own". The daily texts and pics were fun and welcome. Their home is perfectly set up for boarding multiple dogs if needed. The outdoor spaces are perfect! Plenty of shade and spacious enough to lounge or run around. I can't recommend Shiela and David more highly. If it is your first time boarding your fur-baby, and you are nervous about it, choose Shiela and David. You can rest assured that your baby, even a baby as shy as Carly, is well cared for with Shiela and David.”

Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. She made sure that the litterbox was cleaned up daily and that there was enough water for Cleo each day. Jewel made sure to write up a summary after each visit. I came back home to find Cleo as happy and healthy as she was before I left and that she had already been fed. She got along very well with Jewel based on the reports. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. I do not do stays in my own home at the moment as my dog is not always good with other dogs/animals, but I am able to make it out to you to do care in your own home. I learn quickly, and i use this to my advantage as i learn to give each pet their best individualized care.

About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers from ages 10-12 (20+). I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarley met a dog that I wasn't able to build trust with. I am a graduate student whose internship starts on the 27th of July. So I have complete availability then. Outside of that, I am typically free after 5 pm on weekdays and completely free on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.

About: Along with my babysitting jobs growing up, I also cared for the fur babies. Everything from bunnies to fish and even turtles. I will always take special requests and read any details to make sure I give the furbabies the upmost care I can provide. About: Ive had many pets throughout my life. Majority being dogs. Ive had dogs of many sizes and breeds. Ive had three pitbulls, three chihuahuas, two german shepherds, and one saint bernard!! I work part time, my shifts usually being from 6 am - 1 pm on weekdays, which gives me much of my day to take care of your pets! Weekends are a bit more difficult due to the fluctuations in my work schedule but I'm pretty casual when it comes to working around things! I have a fenced yard, its not too big but there is space! I can also take your pet for a walk if they yard is not good enough! I will not leave your pet in a crate but instead allow them to roam freely (Unless you specifically want them to be crated).
