I've grown up with dogs, and have experience caring for senior dogs with medical issues. I am also experienced with feral, stray, and fearful/shy cats. We currently have one black cat (Nox) in the home who is our pride and joy. I also live across the street from an emergency animal care hospital should any emergencies arise.

Kayla was wonderful! She took great care of our greyhound and checked in with us regularly. She gave us piece of mind while traveling.
We had Kayla housesit for us for over a week. She made sure to communicate and send pictures regularly, which helped us feel good about being so far from home. She was great with our cat and dog. It was clear that she enjoys spending time with animals and made sure our little creatures were played with and given plenty of attention. She was very responsible with the house and went above and beyond to make sure everything was easy for us when we got home. Thank you, Kayla!

I am a recently minted PhD in Clinical Psychology who is taking a gap year before going to residency. I have flexible hours and am available for a variety of pet care services while I study for board certification exams.

Safety, trust & environment
Boarding: My fiance and I rent a 2 bedroom apartment, which means there is plenty of space to either roam and play, or sequester with cozy blankets and treats until they feel comfortable. Our 6 year old cat is shy but friendly with other cats and humans. I live together with my fiance who is also an animal lover In home: Food, water, and waste services as typical. Also available for playing, petting, walking, treats, or medication if requested.
Pets
A typical day
I love giving lots of affection (scritches) to your loved fur babies. We will play with some toys or take a walk and explore around new sights and sounds. For cats, I have plenty of indoor toys and treats to play with, and a balcony with cat netting if they want to catch some rays.
