About: Animal care is my biggest passion. I’ve recently graduated college with a degree in biology, where I often volunteered at shelters for animal care experience. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and even birds and turtles for as long as I can remember. My friends and family know they can rely on me when away for vacation to drop in and play with their pets, keep their pets company, and walk and feed their pets. I don’t think I’ve ever met a pet that doesn’t like me! So I’m so excited to help those in my community with animal care. I work on call only part time, so I’m available most hours of the week and some weekends. I would prefer early mornings or evenings, but I am ready for anything! In my clients home the first thing I do, in the case of a dog, is take them for a walk as it might’ve been hours since they’ve last been out. Sometimes I will let them in the yard if it is late at night, but I find longer walks will use up all their energy so they can nap well until the next time I pop in. Then it’s time for food and water refill, which if they’re reluctant to eat, I will wait with them to make sure they at least eat some. Then it’s play time/enrichment time where I try to get the last of their energy out. If I’m watching cats, I’ll feed them first and as they eat is my time to clean out the litter box. Cats also need tons of play time, so after they eat I’ll find any toys to keep them entertained for my time there. The hardest part for me is leaving them!
“Kate was communicative leading up to her drop-ins, and left great check-in cards with plenty of picture. She was even kind enough to take out the trash! Would definitely re-book.”

“Rachelle's still the best sitter I've had on Rover so far! Always communicates promptly, forgets nothing, sends pictures and makes me feel at ease while travelling.”

About: Hi, my name is Erik! I have worked for local businesses (As well as Wag so I have a bit of app experience too) walking, training, boarding, and sitting dogs for a little over 7 years now. I love animals, being outside, and meeting new pups. Located in Bushwick, I'm a quick bike ride away from Williamsburg, Bed Stuy, Ridgewood, etc. I have no problem taking the train to further neighborhoods as well. I've lived in New York for a 11 years now so navigating around the city is no issue. I was raised in a animal loving house and couldn't be happier working with the them. I'm a jack of all trades and a big worker. I love the freedom of setting my own schedule and being outside getting my steps in. I get down to their level and let them inspect/smell me. I tend to pass the sniff test. I don't mind taking the time to wait until the pup is comfortable before going on our walk.
About: As a dancer, choreographer, and yoga teacher, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and attentiveness to pet care. I enjoy staying active and am happy to keep up with energetic dogs who need longer walks, playtime, or enrichment activities. At the same time, I understand the importance of slowing down and providing a calm, reassuring presence for pets who prefer a quieter pace. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I provide attentive, personalized care and treat every animal as if they were my own. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. As a dog owner, I'm comfortable with puppies and can help reinforce routines such as leash manners, potty schedules, crate training, and basic commands. I also understand the importance of balancing exercise, enrichment, rest, and consistency. In addition to dog care, I have experience caring for cats. Most recently, a group of friends and I coordinated care for a friend's cat while she was undergoing cancer treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering. This experience reinforced the importance of reliability, communication, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for during stressful times. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply companionship and a calm presence, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and positive experience. I believe in clear communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be attentive to pets throughout the day and accommodate walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins as needed. As a dog owner myself, daily walks, exercise, training, and enrichment are already part of my life. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so adding additional walks or pet visits fits easily into my routine. I also understand the importance of consistency and maintaining the schedules that pets are used to. Because I work a four-day workweek and have flexibility in my evenings and weekends, I am often available for drop-in visits, walks, overnight care, and last-minute support when families need an extra hand. I focus on maintaining the routines, environment, and level of care that pets are already familiar with. In a client's home, I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions carefully so pets can remain comfortable in their own space. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, play, and companionship while also respecting their individual personalities and needs. For dogs, this may include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, basic training reinforcement, and quiet downtime. For cats, I provide feeding, litter box maintenance, play, and companionship while allowing them to engage at their own comfort level. I understand that communication is important. I provide regular updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing while they're away. Safety, reliability, and compassion are at the center of how I approach pet care. My goal is always to help pets feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for until their families return.

This summer I will be able to reliably look after your pets all week and on weekends. I provide regular check ins with photos of your pet and details on how they are doing. I follow detailed and specific instructions very well.

“Blu was absolutely wonderful! She sent adorable photos every single day of my cats and was always super quick to respond to any concerns I had. East Brooklyn pet parents share their Rover experiences
My 15 year old diabetic cat recently entered DKA and underwent very intense and very costly treatment that required serious recovery and supervision. I took off a few weeks of work but due to the added costs I needed to return back to work in order to continue caring for her and treatments. I was of course naturally worried leaving her after having survived such a serious illness and Katie stepped in a really helped put all that anxiety and worry at ease for me. I truly feel like she made all my worries go away upon returning to works All her visits were well documented (she sent me lots of pictures and videos of play time sessions, medicines given, the food and water put out, and she always stayed for longer than booked for and I never came home to a mess. It was evident to me that she was treating my babies like they were her own. From phone calls to texts to in App updates Katie is truly a delight to work with and I can’t recommend her services enough to anyone looking for their pets to receive the same level of love and care that mine got from Katie. I work long hours in film and my old lady will need continued care so definitely plan to keep booking her as much as possible. For those who view their pets as children; Katie’s the one for you.
From the very first interaction, Leah stood out as someone I could genuinely trust with Ollie. During our meet and greet, she asked all the right questions — about his routines, temperament, any behavioral quirks, and anything else she should know. She also made it clear she would never introduce him to other dogs without first ensuring it was safe, which I really appreciated. Leah was wonderfully patient with him during the meet and greet, understanding that letting him come to her on his own terms was the best way to build trust. Since Ollie is still young and learning to be comfortable around new people, her calm and unhurried approach made a real difference. During the sitting itself, she kept me well informed with updates, photos, and thoughtful notes about how he was doing. And when a family emergency came up and my plans had to shift on the fly, she adapted without hesitation — her flexibility and understanding during a stressful time meant so much. I would absolutely recommend Leah to anyone looking for a sitter who is gentle, attentive, and truly has your dog’s best interests at heart.

Diana is great and I would recommend her to all my pet parent friends! She's been super accommodating to my last minute changes / requests. She has also been great with my Odie - even as a dog who needs extra attention on walks and at home. Diana also helped me out with taking care of my foster kittens when I was away which was super helpful! And being available on the weekend was a major plus. Couldn't recommend Diana enough!

Another fantastic set of visits with Mark! All three of our cats love him and he goes above and beyond to make them feel comfortable while we’re away. My wife and I look forward to his messages, photos, and videos - they add so much joy and comfort to our trips!

Alexander stepped up while I was dealing with an unexpected family emergency. Knowing Kermit was in kind capable hands was a huge relief in a chaotic time and one less thing to worry about. Alexander kept me updated, sent wonderful photos and I didn’t once have to worry or wonder if Kermit was happy and healthy. Alex even was able to accommodate a lengthened booking. I can’t express enough how wonderful Alexander is with my little guy and how communicative and accommodating he has been with me. I can’t thank you enough Alex!
