“Ashlee did a fantastic job watching my two dogs. They took great care of them and communicated very well. We got photos of the dogs periodically and it looks like they let them make themselves at home!”

“Jordynn is an amazing dog sitter. She took great care of our dog. Our dog required extra care as he’s very sensitive. Jordynn was patient and really went out of her way to cater to our dog's needs. Jordynn’s kids were visibly excited when they met our dog. You can tell that their household loves dogs. Jordynn’s house is very clean and she has a big fenced in backyard that is perfect for dogs. Would definitely refer anyone to Jordynn.”

“Rebeca was incredible. She helped potty train my puppy without being asked. I got sent multiple pictures and updates throughout my trip which helped ease my mind about leaving him behind. I will definitely be using her and her sweet family again in the future. Couldn’t recommend more!!”

“Jessica is amazing, and my dog loves her and her house. The last time I dropped him off, he was so excited that he couldn't wait to get inside. I also appreciate that she sends pictures and keeps me updated. We just love her!”

“Amber & Tristan's home was so great for our dog! He wore himself out playing and rested for the first few days back home. They were so kind to share pics and update us on his adventures!”

“Always grateful for Michelle and her family for loving on Rocky when he stays with them. He runs to their door every time and is so excited to see them.”

“Kristen was great with Maisie. She even got her to eat on the first night, which is a miracle! Maisie can get anxious and stop eating when boarded but Kristen knew just what to do to make her feel at home. When we got home from several days away, she seemed happy!”

“I felt completely at ease leaving my pets with Niki. She took the time to get to know each of my dogs’ personalities and asked thoughtful questions to make sure their stay would be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Throughout their stay, she kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. My pups came home happy, well cared for, and clearly loved. Niki even went the extra mile by buying them treats and chew toys—and sent some home with them! She also washed their bedding and blankets before they came home, which was such a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. In every way, she exceeded my expectations. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. I truly feel she went above and beyond, and I would absolutely trust her with my dogs again and happily book with her in the future.”

“Maria was amazing! She took my Great Dane for several days, made sure Phoebe and her own dogs got along, and treated my dog like family. She was super communicative, I got several daily updates and pictures, and she made sure Phoebe was happy and comfortable for her whole stay. I would absolutely recommend Maria and will be going with her again in the future!”

“Kathryn was amazing with our dogs. She sent pictures and sent updates on how the dogs were doing. I felt very comfortable with our dogs at her house. I will definitely use Kathryn again.”

“Lindsey was so great with our pups! She sent us updates/pictures of the pups everyday and we could tell they were having such a great time while staying with her. Thank you so so much!”

“Cooper had a great time with Cami & her family, he definitely came home exhausted from all the fun! Cami sent me updates and pictures, which was comforting to see while I was away. Cooper can't wait to go back to their house again, thank you!”
“He had an awesome time. Loved playing fetch and tugging with their boys. Sent us lots of great pics and videos of him playing with them and other dogs. Thanks!”

“Shadow was well taken care of while I was away, and I appreciated having someone to watch him during my trip. He came home safe, happy, and comfortable. She was kind and accommodating, and I’m thankful for the care she provided.”

“She was amazing! My dog was extremely nervous the first couple of days and Choi was so patient with her. Lacey finally warmed up and that’s all because she felt safe and loved. Thank you so much Choi we will definitely book with her again.”

“Kesha and her family were so inviting and kind. The entire place was spotless. When we got our dog back she seemed very happy and normal. Like she had been just as loved at Keeshas as at home. Very responsive to questions and even a schedule change, which we had to do twice. Thank you so much!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Eagle Mountain
This is the second time we’ve used Jordan and Andrea and we love them! They always send lots of pictures and updates and our dog always comes home happy and tired from having such a great time. I don’t worry when he is with them and that makes all the difference when we have to leave. 10/10 would recommend!

I left my 2 dogs with Lucille and her daughter while we were out of town for five days. They were very warm and welcoming at drop-off, and super sweet with my pups (one of which is blind and elderly). This really put my mind at ease, as I usually struggle to leave my dogs with anyone. They were quick to respond to my messages, and sent us pictures and updates regularly. I’m so happy I found these sitters and I truly hope to be able to book with them again!

Paige was FANTASTIC! she sent lots of pictures and videos and I know for a fact our pup had a blast at her house for the week. Her two dogs are very sweet and got along with our dog very well. I love having fun buddies for our dog to play with while we are away and that’s just what he had! 10/10 will use again

Our two pups enjoyed their stay with Janae and Russell. They kept us informed on how things were going and sent pictures during their stay. We appreciate that they restrict the dogs they take to a low number to make sure each dog is being cared for. We would recommend using them for your dogs as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
