“Jordynn was amazing dog sitter. She took great care of our dog. She sent updates and we know our dog was being loved and taken care of. I would highly recommend her. We definitely will be using her again.”

“He had an awesome time. Loved playing fetch and tugging with their boys. Sent us lots of great pics and videos of him playing with them and other dogs. Thanks!”

“Dana and Jack took great care of Milo while we were away. They took him on walks, gave him lots of attention, and he came home happy and well cared for. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. We would definitely have them watch Milo again!”

“Amber and her family did an amazing job looking after my sweet Lola. She sent pictures everyday and kept me posted on her eating and sleeping habits. Amber has two sweet pups of her own and they treated Lola just like family. So grateful to have found a great dog sitter! Thank you Amber and family! Will definitely be my go to sitter!”

“Shadow was well taken care of while I was away, and I appreciated having someone to watch him during my trip. He came home safe, happy, and comfortable. She was kind and accommodating, and I’m thankful for the care she provided.”

“I appreciated how communicative Mary was - both when planning drop off/pick up, and she sent me updates and pictures while I was gone. When I picked Evie up she was exhausted from playing with Mary’s pups and family, and Mary had even given Evie a quick bath before I picked her up! Will definitely be reaching out next time I need boarding!”

“This is my second time with Grace. Wonderfully warm family! My dog was excited the moment we pulled up. It’s so nice to not be worrying about our pup while we are away.”

“Jillian did a great job watching Bruce! She kept me updated on how he was doing and even sent me pictures of what he was up to. You can tell she loves animals and takes pride in caring for them. I will definitely be using her in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Cindy, our dog-sitter. She provided a perfect place for our dog. She gave us continual updates and pictures and made us very comfortable with our first dog-sitting experience. We highly recommend and are so grateful to have found this local family!”

“Niki was amazing!! She took such good care of our dogs. I could tell they were loved on the whole time they were there. She even took adorable pictures of them by the Christmas tree. I loved that she was home often with them, had a big yard, and took them on walks. I highly recommend her!”

“We had such a good first time experience leaving our dog Piper with Hao and family. He spent a good amount of time with us on drop off. He was super thorough explaining what a typical day would look like and introduced her to other boarders one by one to eliminate her stress. He was interested in learning about Piper and her personality. Hao was very responsive and sent us lots of pictures to keep us updated on Piper’s stay. We will definitely use them again in the future when needed.”

“Kristen is the best! She definitely showed our puppy so much love and we felt so comfortable leaving her with Kristen and her family. We knew she would be in good hands. I loved receiving updates everyday about how she was doing. She is seriously the best!”

“Willow won’t eat if she doesn’t feel at home and all too often I pick her up after a prolonged stay only to find that she’s lost a little too much weight, but not with Rachel! Willow was clearly well cared for and we will definitely be back!”

“Stefany was awesome. My dog Harley loved it. I appreciated the fun and at random times, photos of him playing. I would totally use her again of she let us. Thanks Stefany.”
“Greatly exceeded our expectations! Choi took such amazingly wonderful care of our puppy. We couldn't be more pleased. She sent multiple, daily pics and vids of our little Coco going on walks, playing, making friends, resting sleeping, snuggling, jumping, etc. It enhanced our vacation as we shared the moments with our family members, so many smiles and laughs! Thank you, Choi! You are so awesome!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Eagle Mountain
I left my 2 dogs with Lucille and her daughter while we were out of town for five days. They were very warm and welcoming at drop-off, and super sweet with my pups (one of which is blind and elderly). This really put my mind at ease, as I usually struggle to leave my dogs with anyone. They were quick to respond to my messages, and sent us pictures and updates regularly. I’m so happy I found these sitters and I truly hope to be able to book with them again!

Paige was FANTASTIC! she sent lots of pictures and videos and I know for a fact our pup had a blast at her house for the week. Her two dogs are very sweet and got along with our dog very well. I love having fun buddies for our dog to play with while we are away and that’s just what he had! 10/10 will use again

Our two pups enjoyed their stay with Janae and Russell. They kept us informed on how things were going and sent pictures during their stay. We appreciate that they restrict the dogs they take to a low number to make sure each dog is being cared for. We would recommend using them for your dogs as well!

Emma did an excellent job of watching my dog and keeping me updated throughout his stay. Emma & her husband provided my Lennik with walks and feedings as requested. I have nothing but praise for their care and attention to my little “fur baby”. I will definitely use them again! Roger

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
