About: I have owned dogs since the day I was born. They have always been part of my family. Over the last several years I’ve had numerous opportunities to watch and board various dogs for family and friends and have loved opening my home to these adorable pets. I decided it was time to make it official. I work full time from home so I am able to keep the dogs out free from crates and getting the play time that they need and deserve. My house is about to be fully fenced and I am looking at adding a dog door to the back as well. We take pride in monitoring their food and activity intake according to the parents desires.

About: When your pup stays with me, they get more than a spot to sleep—they get a home-away-from-home. I make sure every dog has a safe, comfortable space that mirrors the routine and environment they’re used to. Your dog is never “just another booking” in my house; I care for each guest as if they were my own. I grew up on a farm, which taught me early on how to understand animals, read their behavior, and respond calmly and confidently. I’ve grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes—from Great Danes to Shih Tzus—and I’m very familiar with a wide variety of breeds. I have experience with dogs of all ages. I do not mind having a puppy in my house and I am also prepared to help any senior dog that might need more care. I currently have an older basset hound that I have had since she was a puppy and I just rescued another basset hound this year that is full of energy! I take pride in understanding canine temperaments and adjusting my care to meet each dog’s unique personality. Raising animals over the course of my life has been one of my greatest joys which is why I love having new pups in my home. Pet care is naturally woven into my everyday life since I’m home full time. Drop off/pick up times are completely open. If for some reason I am not home, I will let you know ahead of time that my husband will be available instead. My dogs are mostly indoor dogs but I do have a fully fenced yard. I also have a dog door that goes out to my backyard. However, I do not expect your dog to know how to use it. Your dog will enjoy daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of cuddle time. I love creating a fun, relaxed environment where play and companionship are part of our daily rhythm. My two basset hounds are friendly and social, so your dog will have built-in playmates and plenty of interaction throughout the day, ensuring they feel happy, engaged, and right at home. My main goal is to ensure your pup enjoys their time with me while you’re away. I do not take my role as the “tail-wagging specialist” lightly. Once your dog feels safe and comfortable in my home, I make sure their stay is filled with all the things they love. Your dog is welcome to sleep wherever in my home and I cater to whatever is most comfortable to them. I do have crates of all sizes if that is where they feel the most safe. One of my dogs is still training and sleeps in a kennel so I am prepared to accommodate any sleeping arrangements. I also want you to feel completely at ease while you’re gone. I know how it feels to leave your dog in someone else’s care, as I’ve had to do the same many times. Since I’m home full-time, I’m able to provide frequent updates and plenty of photos so you can stay connected and confident that your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of my own rescue dogs for 10 years and I’ve been a volunteer for Friends of Homeless Animals for over 5 years, fostering more than 50 dogs. I have experience with small and large dogs, puppies and adults. I am the go-to person for all my friends and family with everything dog related! I’m a project manager and work fully remote Monday - Friday. I have full availability to take care of your pups. Feeding, walks, play time, nap time, anything needed. I have a completed fenced backyard and a very friendly dog to play with your pup. The dogs have free range of the house and are allowed in the furniture with supervision.

About: Let me cuddle your pets! I’ve owned dogs my whole life, to me they are not just animals, they are part of the family! I have trained a puppy(have one of my own right now, 6 months old) and just barely had to let go of my 17 year old doggy after providing senior care for him. I am home most of the time during the week and every weekend (with exceptions that won’t be marked available on rover). I don’t crate dogs (unless it’s your preference)! I have a a fenced yard and a puppy that loves friends! I take my dog on walks every morning and every evening and help him get exercised and entertained with toys.

About: Hello! I have 12 years of experience caring for my own dogs, by I have had pets since I was little. I raised, trained and cared my first dog from when he was a puppy, we now have a Shiba Inu in our family that we love! He’s very well trained, friendly and very well behaved. For the past few years we have been taking care of my brother’s German Shepherd at our home for a couple of weeks in a row while him and his wife go on vacation, we also drive to their home to take care of their 2 cats I am home 24/7! Unless, we plan something to do as a family. I care for our toddler and our dog. We love going on walks weather permitting! We have 2 kids that have grown with pets their whole life. We have a 9 year old and a toddler. At my home, we have a medium size dog that is very friendly. We feed him, water him, bath him when needed and take him for a few walks throughout the day. We like to do activities as a family that we can include our dog as well! We don’t have a yard but we do live in a community with plenty of parks where we take our dog. Your pet will be cared the same way as our own 🙂

I’m new to the Rover care taking side, I used rover myself for my pets when I was in a bind with long 14 hr shifts and my husband was deployed. Fast Forward 2 years and I’m now a new stay at home mom looking to make some cash for the upcoming holidays and to be able to afford family pictures this year! I can do either your home or mine! I have 2 Belgian Malinois plus my roommates dog who is a husky Lab mix. We have a fenced back yard plus a fenced designated potty area for our dogs.

About: I have taken care of animals of every kind since I was about 10. I love all animals, and I love helping them feel extra special while they're missing their favorite humans. My schedule is flexible. I like doing walks, park time, and outside waste clean up during daylight hours, but I'm open to other times. Indoor check ins, feedings, and litter box changes are okay anytime. I am happy to come to your home for check ins, play time, walks, feeding, etc. or at my home for boarding, I will want to know your pets general schedule so I can help them feel at home as much as possible. I love additional info, like favorite games, or ways to play, favorite toys and treats. We always make sure to have homemade, healthy, yummy treats on hand, but if store bought treats are preferred, just let me know and I'll do my best to supply them for your bestie. Unfortunately at this time I am only able to board hypoallergenic breeds.
