About: I grew up always having at least one dog in my home, I now have two. I was tasked with feeding, walking, and playing with them. Often times when neighbors and friends would go out of town I would look after their pets, staying at their house when needed. I am currently a nanny during the week which leaves me with a flexible schedule during the day and I am almost always available after 3pm. On the weekends I go away, but I can likely be available if requested. When caring for someone’s pet I always make sure to follow the instructions given. This can rang from their diet, to their bathroom / walking schedule, to whatever else they may need.

About: Not only do I love animals (no matter the type), I have never lived a day without one! I have owned cats, dogs, reptiles, even guinea pigs. Not only do I have experience living with animals, I have dog and cat sit for eight years for a big dog along with living with a small dog and cat. Additionally, I worked for Mass Vet Referral Hospital for two years as a client care specialist, so I have experience dealing with animal emergencies and giving medicine to pets. My patience and love for animals will leave you feeling at peace while away from your babies! I work from home completely and am mobile as I have my own car. Therefore, I am very flexible throughout the day! This also allows me the flexibility of being able to stay at a house for longer periods of time if needed as I am still able to work from other homes. I understand that all pets have their own boundaries. As long as I am aware of any ahead of time, I am more than happy to give any of your babies the space they need to be stress free while still being given the care needed to get through the day. This also applies to those who need more attention than most and love attention!

If I'm not outdoors on a hike/walk with my dog, I'm at home. My 12 year old border terrier, Ripley, enjoys a very large fenced in yard. We allow Ripley on the couch but usually avoid doing so when other dogs are around. We can crate your pup if you'd like to or it's needed (when away at work). I can also accommodate a large corral where they only have access to one room. Whatever your dogs needs are, we can accommodate.

Alyssa was amazing!! She sent us many texts and photos/videos daily. I hate leaving our dog as she can't really be boarded, and is a nervous wreck around most people. Alyssa bonded with Abbey so quickly, she was laying with her on the bed, and even allowed her to pet her!! That is a huge thing for our dog. She made our vacation so much less stressful knowing she was in caring hands. She also house sitted while she was there and fed the fish, so if you have a nervous dog, she's bound to win her over!! We will definitely request her again!!
Look no further, Laura is one of the best sitters you will find on Rover. I would like to keep her all to ourselves but she is a rare find, someone who cares for your pet like they’re her own. Laura always leaves the house in better shape than she found it and is super responsive and loving. We’ve tried other sitters when Laura is busy, and so far no one has come even close. Do yourself a favor and book Laura for a stress free vacation.
Kaitlyn took such wonderful care of our older dog for a week. She followed all our directions including weighing out home cooked food at meal time, giving him prescription meds, and kept him company. We got pix of him with regular updates. Our house was immaculate when we returned.
Betsy is an absolute gem! This was her second time staying with our Golden Retriever Sammy & again, Betsy was just great. Sammy immediately bonded with her & his comfort was evident in the pics Betsy sent. She took Sammy on long walks & graciously indulged his little idiosyncrasies. Betsy is very responsible & left our house neat & tidy. She’s a great communicator as well, keeping us updated with texts & pictures. I look forward to having Betsy house sit for Sammy again!
