About: Greetings! Matthew here. I'm a long time lover of dogs, growing up with a Golden Retriever. Sammy is at home with my parents while I study for my Masters in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute in downtown San Francisco. I miss him dearly, and would love to have some four-legged companions back in my life. I'd treat your hound as respectfully as a fellow family member. I'd attend to and talk with them, plus do all those other doggy duties.

About: I am a responsible, experienced dog/cat owner-lover and will treat yours like my own. I was raised in a family that had dogs including 3 dachshunds, a mutt, and a chow over the years. As an adult I have been the loving pet parent to three adult cats consecutively. Very comfortable around cats and dogs. Available for dog-walking, cat/dog drop-in's, and daytime extended stay drop-in's / house-sitting (no overnights). I have worked remotely for over ten years so have a very flexible schedule. Walking your dog or visiting your cat would be a pleasure and a chance for some fresh air and exercise. I do this for supplemental income during my free time and the opportunity to visit different neighborhoods. I am available daytime hours, not overnight (mid-morning til before sunset). I will give your cat or dog as much or little attention in your home as you (or they!) specify. Reliable, trustworthy. Not able to care for your pets at my home.

About: Your pet has a safe and loving friend while you're away! I grew up with 2 adorable Bichons and have been in love with dogs ever since. I'm the first person my friends and family reach out to when they are looking for a pet sitter because they know that I genuinely care for all animals. I've lived with and cared for multiple foster pups which taught me the importance of a calm-assertive energy and patience when training and caring for dogs. I recently adopted my own high energy dog and am trying to convince my boyfriend she needs a sibling ... obviously! I make sure that your pet's distinct needs are met and strive to make sure they are comfortable and happy. If you have any questions or would like to meet me before trusting me with your loved one, feel free to reach out to me. Please also provide your drop off/pick up times in your request. I'm excited to be able to continue to care for the animals in my community. I hope that you'll consider me for your next sitter! I am currently looking for work so I have a flexible schedule. I am available every day to care for pets until finding part-time/full-time work. I have a fenced yard that I would be happy to take your pet to for some outdoor private time. I also have a dog that would love to play but this can be discussed beforehand to make sure your pet is comfortable.

“Megan was the best! Super flexible and easy. But best of all Wasabi my Frenchie LOVED HER! Walks, play, cookies, repeat! Can’t wait to return to SF and call yo Megan again! 5 stars ++++ Thanks Megan!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and my calm, attentive approach. I grew up fostering pups of all ages and temperaments, so I know how to adapt to each pet’s unique needs, whether that’s giving meds, caring for seniors, or managing puppy energy. I’m dependable, communicative, and always focused on making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and at home even when you’re away. I’m currently freelancing and working from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible to jump in and provide daily and weekly care for whenever you need. I love taking a bit of extra time before I leave to make sure everything’s secure, nothing’s been left out, and your dog has what they need before you come back. That means checking fences, filling up food and water, etc.

“Drew rescued Tank from my boring workday and took him for a 1.1 mile jaunt, thank goodness. This was their second trip together, and I would definitely like there to be many more.”

“I am SO thankful for Charis- she's been walking our dog Winston for the past few weeks (even in the rain) and he's smitten with her!! We were nervous using Rover for the first time since our dog can be very sassy/territorial but Charis has completely won him over with her calm and warm demeanor. You can definitely tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and I wouldn't hesitate recommending her to any of my friends :)”

Donna H.
“We love Donna! She’s trustworthy, caring, and talented. Not only is she good with animals, she can draw them too! She’s our go to person whenever we’re on the SF area.”

Fabiola O.

“Fabiola was reliable and made sure my dog got their walk on time. Everything went smoothly”

Jennifer S.
“Jenny has watched my dogs countless times, and I have been so thankful to have her! She is very caring and trustworthy, it is comforting to know that she loves my dogs just as much as I do when I am out of town. I am always hesitant to let people watch them, as they are my best friends, and the idea of a stranger taking them anywhere or caring for them can be terrifying, and then I found Jenny! Through extended trips or even short walks I know that she will treat them as her own, and that they enjoy being around her! I can not recommend her enough! When I asked her to watch my dogs for 3 weeks, and stay at my house so they could be comfortable, she didn’t even hesitate, she stayed with them, cuddled them, cared for them, and also left my home clean, possible even more so than I had left it!”

Jessica Y.
“Jessica was super easy to work with and made the whole process feel low-stress, which I really appreciated. She was calm, kind, and immediately tuned into my dog’s personality. I have a senior terrier mix who can be a little anxious, especially when I’m away, but Jessica made her feel so comfortable and safe. She sent regular updates (with adorable photos!), always arrived on time, and followed every care detail to a T including medications and a pretty specific feeding routine. It was such a relief knowing my pup was in loving, capable hands. When I came home, my dog was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. That peace of mind is priceless. If you're looking for someone who treats your pet like family, communicates clearly, and shows up with warmth and reliability, Jessica’s your person.”

“Alex is the biggest dog fan that I know. It is probably a result of growing up with, and always being around dogs. She absolutely adores all type of dogs and has a strong sense of how to act around all dog behaviors, from waggy happy, to skittish and scared. She knows how to make all dogs comfortable. She is the first person friends call upon when they need a dog sitter, and she treats them as her own. She'll give them ample walks and play time to makes sure their needs are met.”

Maxine M.
“Maxine pet sat for our two VERY energetic dachshunds this summer for a whole weekend, in our home. We had newly rescued them and they were still getting used to the house and their surroundings. She managed them very well--not only were they well cared for physically, but she also provided a warm, comfortable company for them. She was on time, responsive, and followed all of our directions. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, warm and trustworthy pet sitter.”

Annika has been wonderful with our dog! She took the time to come over and meet him beforehand, which really put us at ease. She's reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. We always feel confident knowing our pup is in good hands with her. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for someone to take care of your dog look no further! This was my first time using Rover and Margot made the experience so great! I could relax knowing my pup was happy, safe, and well cared for.
