“Sabrina was so so great! We were able to set up a meet & greet beforehand where she got to know my pup. And she was extremely communicative during my pup’s walk and made sure to go above and beyond to mark sure he was comfortable. I got many photos and will definitely be reaching out to book again :)”

“Gillian has been our regular dog walker for the past several months, after the prior one unexpectedly retired. Finding Gillian was such a godsend, as she’s been extremely dependable, flexible, responsive, and so sweet to our pup. We are now moving out of the area and will miss Gillian a lot! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a committed walker.”

About: I love animals and being out in nature. If I could live outside with my dog, I would. Life would be so much easier and less stressful. I very much enjoy getting to meet new people and furry friends on Rover. Its so much fun to get to hang out with your pets. I understand that pets are family and deserve the same loving care and attention as the rest of the clan. I have always made it a priority to include animals in as much of life as possible. But I understand that sometimes this is not possible and that is why I am here for you. I work remote full time and can work anywhere with a good wifi signal. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to accommodate most requests. I do enjoy walks, and so much more with a friend. Playing and activities keep those furry friends occupied and out of trouble. It's a win win. Living in Seattle is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise, I am all in and I know most dogs are as well.

“Walking our dog, Penelope, can be tough because even though she’s so sweet and loving at home, she is leash reactive and can be difficult to handle. This was our first trip away after moving to the area so we were a little hesitant. But Alana was fantastic. We did a meet and greet, she handled everything with patience and kindness, took great care of Penelope while we were away and even checked in after. We are so so grateful and look forward to working with her in the future!”

“Couldn't recommend Paige enough!. I have a reactive pug so I'm always very anxious whenever he meets new people as he can be a little vocal at times. However when we met Paige she immediately knew how to approach him and within seconds he picked up his favorite toy to show her!. Paige was very detailed when giving feed back about her and my boys walk and also had plenty of patience with him when he went into stubborn mode and stopped on their walk! .We will definitely be reaching out again 😊”

About: I’ve always had a dog in my family, and I took care of my own dog for 15 yrs until he passed away last year. I can’t have dogs at my apartment and I love walking. It’s just better with a friend; your pup :) I understand dog behavior from years of taking care of them for friends and family, and I always adhere to the rules of food intake, special medical needs, and general care. I have a disability, but it does not stop me from getting out and going for a nice long walk. I’d love to take a dog along on my adventures. I also have plenty of time to check in on them daily. I treat the animals I care for with respect and common sense. If they are reactive and can’t be around other dogs, I have experience there. If they are aged and need extra help, I’ve done that too. I treat the house I visit with care and respect as well.

About: I’ve never been without pets from the time I was born, grew up with German Shepherds and Saint Bernard’s and was in my twenties before realizing not everyone related or loved dogs the way I do. I’ve owned and loved cats that lived to eighteen. I live with two lovely teen kids, husband and rescue dog, Lulu. She’s almost eight! She arrived when she was two, unruly, unwalkable and barking non stop at us at the dinner table while we attempted to eat. Most people would have given that girl back, but not us! I trained her at home, had the entire family participate, and worked with two separate pros to ensure she grew into our special family dog. Lulu is now eight, and our little mama dog, she loves the kids so much! Daily exercise keeps her fit and her brain happy. I would love to help you with your dogs, cats or other pets for walks, cuddles or play time- they’re all right up my alley! My schedule is very open at this time. I’m a Mom of two teens but am able to maintain a flexible schedule. I value a high level of communication. I am very mindful and respectful of people’s property. I own an airbnb and understand the respect to show others. I am able to come at your designated time and am happy to follow house rules.

“Kate was like a dog whisperer! Bailey is typically shy and reluctant to meet new faces and I was prepared to motivate with lots of treats for this first walk, but something about Kate made Bailey comfortable right away and they were able to take off for their walk almost immediately. Kate was also super communicative from the first outreach which helped bring me at ease as well. We’re looking forward to having Kate and Bailey take more walks together!”

About: I'm a slow walker, I don't mind strolling with old sniffers. I'm also mellow and love to hand out with a good dog while I read or write. I teach yoga among other jobs, so my schedule is sporadic and different day to day. We would need to talk about schedules to define what times work in between my classes and appointments. I lost my soul dog in January, there was nothing I wouldn't do for her. I'm protective when it comes to animals. Cautious and aware of surroundings. I live in an apartment, so only small dogs invited to my place but happy to visit at yours.

“This was my first experience with Rover and John put my nerves at ease! John is very communicative and took a lot of cute photos of my pup on their trip to the park. We will be using John for his walking services ?”

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets all my life. I had my first dog at 10 until he passed at the ripe age of 18. I currently live with my fur niece, who is my favorite colleague and I hope to add yours! I pay attention to body language and am respectful to dogs and cats about their space. I pet them and back off if they don’t want it anymore. I have interacted with multiple throughout my life and always make sure I give love and respect. I’m a hybrid worker so I can pop in during my wfh days! Whether it’s a check in or a walk I’m happy to show your pet some love while you’re away. I am excellent at following instructions and adapting to your pet’s needs! I can provide the support and love they need while you’re away and wait for you to come home.

About: With 6 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I bring genuine love and reliability to every pet I meet. As the proud owner of 2 cats and 1 dog, I understand the importance of building strong bonds. I also have hands-on experience training puppies—so if you need a trusted walker for your little ones, I’d be happy to help! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your little ones. My schedule is flexible, and with just a day’s notice, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. At the moment, I’m offering dog walking and pet care at your home for new customers. For my regular clients, I’m also happy to provide in-house sitting.

“Samantha is a wonderful dog sitter! Responsive, communicative, engaged, and thorough. We returned home to happy and well-cared for pups. I look forward to hiring her again.”

About: Hi, my name is Kelsi! I am a responsible and active young woman who loves to work hard and be around loving people and loving animals. I am very patient with dogs and love watching them learn and grow. I have a 50 pound dog who is a ball of energy and loves adventures. We walk and run often and get into the mountains as much as possible. We also frequent the dog park, as she loves playing with others dogs. I have also spent a fair amount of time taking care of friends dogs from anywhere as short as a walk to as long as weeks. I am willing and love to work with any and all dogs, and I can't wait to get to know your beautiful family members! I currently walk 4-5 miles a day with my dog. We get out in the morning, for lunch, and evenings. We also go on regular runs and trips to the dog park. We have a very close relationship and she loves to work hard for rewards! I live in a dog friendly house with a small yard and is very close to multiple parks, dog parks and Golden Gardens. I have lots of toys to play with and a cozy environment that my dog loves! She is very good at reading another dogs energy. If your dog loves to play, she will too, and if your dog doesn't love to, she will leave them alone!

“Lindsey is an incredibly loving and responsible caregiver. She has been instrumental in helping me out with my new Boston Terrier rescue who came from a neglectful home, has leash reactivity, and is working through some anxiety triggers, so she's not the easiest dog to watch over. Lindsey quickly bonded with my dog and I trust her to take her on walks and dogsit her at my apartment which happens weekly. She loves dogs, taking walks, and hanging out with pups and I highly recommend her for your doggies!”

Anne S.
“Ann has been an exceptional caregiver for my two dogs. Our large dog is a spaz and very hyper and jumpy. “Minerva has been amazing with Brooklyn and Bronx. She’s firm with them, never intimidated, and keeps them in check while still being loving. She’s watched Bronx several times and Brooklyn twice, always making sure they’re well taken care of. When she’s in town from Seattle, she’s our go-to because she’s not just great with the dogs—she’s also incredibly clean and respectful of our space. She’ll even tidy up small things, like washing a few dishes or straightening up anything she’s used, without being asked. She’s super trustworthy, and we always feel at ease knowing she’s taking care of our pups and our home.”
