About: Caring for cats and dogs is second nature to me. Every animal is unique, and learning each pet's habits and personalities is both interesting and rewarding. I have lived in Raleigh most of my life and I am familiar with the local animal hospitals and shelters. I am close friends with several veterinarians, and I am also a certified in CPR as a RECOVER Pet Rescuer. I am available most days with very short notice, and any day with a week's notice. I stain and repair decks during the warmer months, but the schedule is very flexible. I am available morning, noon or night. Animal care is dependent on the pet. I would follow the owner's instructions and rely on my extensive knowledge of cats and dogs to provide the best care possible.

“Vince is fantastic! My shy girl, Harper, enjoyed her walks very much. The notes, updates and photo Vince sent were just wonderful. Vince was very patient with Harper and her shy ways. Would definitely re-book Vince again. Thank you so much!!”

About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. For more detailed availability, please see my public calendar https://calendar.app.google/1EpS26QNofEFAmsH7 Your pet's safety is my #1 concern. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.

About: Large family - 3 young adults currently residing here, the youngest is 16 - so lots of people contact and play time but we have had many dogs through the years and know the balance needed for different types of dogs between play and down time. Large back yard - dogs get plenty of free play time in back - fenced in Large front yard far back off the not-so-busy road - 2 cats also live here and they come and go inside and outside as they please. They are used to having dogs here but if your dog chases them they will stay outside longer. Ha ! We leash walk out front when needed. We have trails to leash walk as well. No walking on roads. Most of the time the dogs love the fenced in back yard. I work from home so I am here most of the time and my girls come and go with work/school commitments. Large clean simple home where dogs can freely roam about. They can choose how and where they sleep including with one of the kids if they like or in their own room or in their crate. Whatever they are used to is fine. My kids love to have dogs sleep with them. Our family bred labs and shelties for over 10 years learning to train well behaved puppies and how to manage many dogs at once. All my grown kids have dogs of their own now and we still have former customers and references calling us for more puppies. We do not breed any longer but that experience gave us alot of skill sets. Most of my kids have vet tech quality experience raising livestock as well as 2 breeds of dogs. They have given shots, pills, birthed puppies, dewormed and know alot of things to look for when a dog is not quite up to speed. Experience is key to knowing different types of personalities and attitudes of dogs. I'm here all day where they can lie near my desk while i work or come and go out the back door as they please for play or basking in the sun on the porch - also just behind my desk. We take orders from you and try to make their routine match as closely as normal so they have fewer changes to make while in a different place.

About: I have been pet sitting ever since I was 14 for neighbors and family friends. I have had pets for my entire life and I am comfortable caring for any type of pet. I currently have a dog, a cat, and a leopard gecko. I'm currently enrolled in college courses at Wake Tech, but I can easily work around your pets needs to make sure they get the best care. I also work part-time, but I have flexible hours. I am free anytime during summer and other school breaks as well! I have experience with younger and senior animals so I can easily adapt to your pets needs. I am good at building trust with your pets and I have experience working with several different animals.

“Great job! Thanks again for helping us out on such short notice. I especially appreciate you taking one for the team and walking him in that monsoon the other day 😉. You will definitely be my first call next time snafu and I need a hand. Thanks again ❤️❤️”

About: I adore dogs. There has always been a dog or some other fur baby in my life my entire life. I have experience dog walking and in-home care. Nothing brings greater pleasure then having a dog by your side. I am honest, dependable, and respectful of your home, privacy, property and most importantly of your best friend. I have worked in the medical field for most of my career and have two children. I have spent my whole adult life caring for the needs of others. I will do whatever I can to ensure your precious pet has all his/her needs met and exceeded. I am patient with each dog because each dog is an individual with specific needs and temperament. If they want to run or cuddle I will give them the individualized attention and care that they deserve. As a pet parent, I know how much worry there is when you feel like your pet isn’t getting the attention and exercise they need. It will be my pleasure to ease your burden and help you in any way I can to keep your pet healthy and happy.

About: My family raised me to love and respect animals of all kinds.. but I am not a fan of the reptile family (sorry!). I helped train a family dog during my high school years and became a foster mom/adoption advisor for a rescue in 2006. I have helped about 30 dogs find their furever homes! Personally, I have 5 dogs and 2 cats in heaven, and 3 dogs here with me now. I do provide pet sitting services for friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, and furry caged critters (i.e. guinea pigs, bunnies). I am experienced with dogs of all ages (puppy to senior) and varying temperaments (i.e. fearful puppy mills rescues, timidity with hearing/sight challenges, incontinence) and use positive reinforcement for training. I am currently unemployed, but have worked remote since 2020. I am out and about almost daily throughout the week, but usually not away for more than 6 hours at a time. NC state law prevents unlicensed daycare or paid boarding in private homes. See www(dot)ncagr(dot)gov (slash)divisions (slash)veterinary (slash)aws for more information. When providing drop-in services, I will do my best to honor the requests of the pet parents.

About: I have taken care of animals off and on since I was seven years old. I love animals and have had many - in my childhood home I have three dogs and two cats. I have one cat right now but I plan on getting more animals in the future. I love large dogs to tiny ones. Because of my schedule I cannot have a dog of my own - which is why I would love to care for yours when you are busy. This is my way of having a dog when I can't due to school and other responsibilities. It is the closest I can get right now so I would be honored to care for your furry family members. I work from home and my work schedule is flexible so I have the ability to decide when I work and when I do not work. I would love to keep your furry companion company, I have not lived with dogs in a couple of years and I do miss it so they will have my complete attention.

About: I am a true animal lover. I have had pets my entire life (50+ years!!). I also volunteer at animal shelters and rescue organizations. I have saved animals lives...ask me about Luciano!. I know how much we love our pets and to many of us, they are our family and mean the world to us. That is how I would describe myself as well. I'm very trustworthy and responsible. If I make a commitment to care for your family member(s), I will give them TLC as if they were my own. If I had the ability, I would have my own sanctuary. I am currently available to care for your dogs, cats and any other pets that you have. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to discuss possible arrangements. Best wishes, Arlene I am a newer resident to NC. I unfortunately was laid off from my job during Christmas 2024. Right now , my preference is to work with animals or humans with special concerns. I currently have almost open availability to care for your cherished pets. I can care for other animals as well, including lizards, snakes, fish, birds, bunnies, chickens, even pet rodents! Your pets safety is of upmost concern to me. I will follow whatever guidelines and preferences you have. Written information is helpful. I am extremely trustworthy.
