About: I am honest and dependable. Your pet and home will be treated with the respect deserved. I am a retired assistant principal and have rescued and rehomed many cats and dogs throughout my career . My pets have had knee surgeries and treated for cancer as well as take medication daily. Aging and young pets require special needs and I am experienced with both. I would treat your pet in the same way that I would like for others to treat my pets. I have a way with most all animals putting them at ease. When there is an amimal to be rescued my friends call me to help. Allow me to help put you at ease as I care for your pets. Thank you!

“We love Jessica! Duke loves her and her entire family! She’s very responsive and takes such good care of our puppy. I never worry about Duke when he’s with her! Would definitely recommend if you ever need any help with your pup!!”

“Tia came through for me at the last minute—the NIGHT before my trip—without ever having met me or my dog, Amara. She stepped in and made sure Amara was well cared for and loved the entire weekend. Amara had some adjustment issues and even got sick at one point, but Tia went above and beyond. Not only did she clean up after her, but she also made sure Amara felt better and was comfortable before leaving. She truly went the extra mile, and I can’t thank her enough. I was nervous about leaving Amara for the weekend, but knowing she was in great hands gave me peace of mind. I’d highly recommend Tia to anyone—thank you again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, from energetic puppies to wise seniors. I’m patient, reliable, and deeply passionate about animals. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just being a comforting presence while you’re away, I tailor my care to your pet’s needs. I prioritize safety, routine, and making sure your dog feels secure and loved while you’re gone. Caring for pets is a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday life. I structure my days around their needs—whether it’s morning walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or medication. I enjoy staying active, so walking dogs or spending time outdoors with them fits in perfectly. I also make time for quiet bonding moments like brushing or cuddling, especially for senior pets or those who need extra comfort. Pet care isn’t a task for me—it’s a part of how I start and end each day with purpose and joy. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine—feeding times, walk schedules, and play preferences—so they feel secure and comfortable. In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax, play, and get one-on-one attention throughout the day. If I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect, ensuring your pet gets consistent companionship and care while keeping things clean and tidy. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any special needs so your pet always feels at ease.

“Christian is my go to guy for looking after my pets. He always showed up in time and takes great pictures too! Thanks again!”

“Amanda goes above and beyond with every walk! My dog is crazy so getting photos of him is tough. She brought her real camera along to snag a picture for me in sport mode. Cannot recommend her enough!”

About: Sure! Here’s a polished version of your bio for your Rover dog-sitting page: Hello and welcome! Our family loves to have extra pets around, and we’re excited to welcome your dog into our home. We’re a lively, loving household with kids ranging from ages 4 to 13, so there's always something happening here! With so many people around, your pup will never feel alone. We also have a dog, Stella, who we adopted in 2015 when she was just six weeks old—she's now a happy nine-year-old, and she'd love some new company. We also have a cat, so your pet will be in good company. Our home is smoke-free and kid-friendly, with a fully fenced-in backyard for your dog to play in as much as they like. I have experience walking dogs with Wag since I moved to the area in 2015, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. My cousin, who lives with us, is like a bonus parent and has a great way with both pets and kids, so rest assured, your pup will be well taken care of by a team of caring hands! I work in Matthews three days a week and from home in Concord two days a week, so there’s always someone here. You might drop off or pick up your dog with me, my husband James, or my cousin Meghan. If you're farther away, I'm happy to coordinate a convenient meet-up for drop-off or pick-up. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! We're happy to do whatever we can to make your pup comfortable. If you have a set feeding schedule please let me know. I feed my dog around 7am and 7pm. The backyard is totally fenced in (the front is only partial). I treat each dog the way I would treat my own. My kids get excited about each new dog that arrives but generally keep to themselves. They like to play, but only when the dog initiates it. if a pup is more reserved, the kids will let them be.

About: I’ve grown up with my cats my whole life. Now my husband and I have a dog! We’ve raised him since he was a puppy and he is our world! Your pet will be in great hands, and I will love them, just like I love my Maverick! I’m also a nanny and have had tons of experience with children, I adore every child I meet! I have that gentle nurturing touch for kids and pets! I do work a full time job during the week, but I am available for boarding and house sitting as long as you’re okay with me being at work during the day. I will be there in the mornings and after work and then full time on the weekends! For just dog walking and drop in visits, I will be available on the weekends. Your pets will be in great hands and get so much love when they are with me! I do work full time, but your dogs will get plenty of love and attention from me and my husband when we are home from work! And we can give breaks for potty during the day if needed. And we are home full time on the weekends! I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I have a dog park in my community and I’ll make sure they get lots of walks and exercise too! I can crate them when needed if that’s what you do, or leave them out based on how you do it at home! I’ll work with their feeding and bathroom schedules and anything else they need!

“Rachel was great with my dog Chance (60 lb Husky/ lab mix). I recently visited the Charlotte area and brought Chance with me. I was very nervous as I had not used Rover before and we were far from home. Rachel texted the day before to confirm, which put my mind at ease. Chance loved Rachel immediately. She was kind, loving and patient with Chance. She had excellent control over him on his walks and made his safety top priority. She was a strong communicator who gave us updates and pictures. If I ever return to Charlotte and need a dog walker or sitter, I would definitely rebook Rachel. I highly recommend her! 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ from me and Chance!!!”

Thank you so much for taking care of Cinder, Caroline! You were a Godsend! We appreciate you coming for a meet & greet beforehand and for your services while we were away.

Tia was AMAZING!!! I cannot sing her praises loudly enough. She responded to my initial inquiry very quickly and was easy & efficient with logistics. I am a bit of a helicopter owner. Tia’s the perfect balance of capable and confident. I was so comfortable trusting her meeting my dog while I was gone and it was so great to *know* Dave would be walked, loved and I didn’t have to sweat about execution while I was unavailable. I can’t wait to rebook with Tia. My dog is a bit of a funny soul and Tia really must be a bit of a dog-whisperer. Thank you Tia!!
