About: I've had my dog 15+ years and fostered dogs for many years before that. My dog Snork and I take 3 walks a day and comes with me to work each day. I love my little guy! Since Snork is a senior dog and he can't walk as far as he used to, I'm looking for more opportunities to walk and enjoy dogs! I currently work a 9-5 job so I'm able to care for your pet after 5:30pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. I would consider some mornings on a short term basis. I would prefer to care for your pet from your home; however, in some cases, I can care for a pet in my home. I have a fenced in backyard and live near a wooded walking path.

About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.

About: I no longer have our own dog after losing my beautiful lab last year. I now want to be a pet sitter for cuddles and have a private home for your dogs comfort. I work full time from home and take frequent walks outside. Your pet will have constant companionship. A routine schedule is welcomed to ensure your pet stays on track! I do have a fenced yard. I do not have a crate or bedding which would need to be provided for your pet along with any necessary instructions.

This was my first time leaving my pup with a sitter after having him for over five years Miss Melissa insured that at every stage of the weekend, I knew what he was doing, and how he was doing and took him for many walks. Sent lots of pictures. She treated my baby like one of her own I would recommend her and we’ll keep having her watch my pup as I was very comfortable with her care.
Charlotte is the absolute best, and my puhpeh girl Winter loves her stays. She's super understanding and flexible if able. My girl always comes home ready to nap so I know she was well taken care of and probably a little spoiled. Communication is always great/consistent and I get some cute pictures while I'm away. Your fur kid(s) will be in great hands here.
If I could give Amy and Grant more than five stars, I would! Leaving your dogs with someone else is never easy, but from the moment we met them, they made us feel welcome and at ease. They took the time to show us both the inside of their home and their yard, which was very important to us, and it was immediately obvious how organized and prepared they are. They asked thoughtful questions about Charlie and Roscoe's personalities, routines, feeding schedules, medications, supplements, allergies, and habits so they could care for them exactly the way we do. Amy and Grant took the time to understand each of their individual needs, and it was obvious from the beginning that they truly wanted to provide the same level of care our dogs receive at home. We had a last-minute schedule change that was completely my fault, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating without making me feel like it was an inconvenience. Throughout their seven-day stay, they sent multiple updates every day with photos and videos that made us smile and reassured us that our boys were happy, safe, and loved. It was especially sweet to see their children spending time with Charlie and Roscoe and treating them like members of the family. The thing that impressed me most was the incredible attention to detail. They sent home a spreadsheet documenting everything—from feedings, medications, and supplements to personalities, allergies, and routines. Because we have a very specific way of caring for our dogs, that level of organization meant the world to us. Amy and Grant cared for Charlie and Roscoe as if they were their own, and that's something you simply can't put a price on. We are so grateful for everything they did, and I would trust them with our dogs again in a heartbeat.
