Ginger had ZERO separation anxiety when I picked her up and brought her back to my house. She normally has very extreme separation anxiety and I was out of town for a long time, so this was a HUGE relief for me (and Ginger I imagine as well!) Having Ginger stay in a loving home environment was so much better for her than the typical dog boarding environments. I feel like I picked up Ginger from an extended sleepover, not an exity filled environment typical to boarding. I highly recommend Julie to watch your pet!!! About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.

Allejah really is a five star sitter! Communication and knowledge of doggie behaviors, attention to detail, flexibility, and LOVE are all top tier. This was my first boarding experience and I have a senior dog so I was on pins and needles going in- my anxiety was eliminated after meeting Allejah and receiving my first round of doggie mail. My old pup was just as comfortable and cantankerous with her as he is with us:-). I appreciated that she made my Velcro dog feel comfortable enough to relax, rest, and cuddle. As an anxious pet parent- I was comfortable enough to enjoy my travels. I would 100% recommend her and I’d love to have her puppy sit again when the need arises.
Charlotte is the absolute best, and my puhpeh girl Winter loves her stays. She's super understanding and flexible if able. My girl always comes home ready to nap so I know she was well taken care of and probably a little spoiled. Communication is always great/consistent and I get some cute pictures while I'm away. If I could give Amy and Grant more than five stars, I would! Leaving your dogs with someone else is never easy, but from the moment we met them, they made us feel welcome and at ease. They took the time to show us both the inside of their home and their yard, which was very important to us, and it was immediately obvious how organized and prepared they are. They asked thoughtful questions about Charlie and Roscoe's personalities, routines, feeding schedules, medications, supplements, allergies, and habits so they could care for them exactly the way we do. Amy and Grant took the time to understand each of their individual needs, and it was obvious from the beginning that they truly wanted to provide the same level of care our dogs receive at home. We had a last-minute schedule change that was completely my fault, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating without making me feel like it was an inconvenience. Throughout their seven-day stay, they sent multiple updates every day with photos and videos that made us smile and reassured us that our boys were happy, safe, and loved. It was especially sweet to see their children spending time with Charlie and Roscoe and treating them like members of the family. The thing that impressed me most was the incredible attention to detail. They sent home a spreadsheet documenting everything—from feedings, medications, and supplements to personalities, allergies, and routines. Because we have a very specific way of caring for our dogs, that level of organization meant the world to us. Amy and Grant cared for Charlie and Roscoe as if they were their own, and that's something you simply can't put a price on. We are so grateful for everything they did, and I would trust them with our dogs again in a heartbeat. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for caring, dependable, organized, and genuinely wonderful Rover sitters.
Siobhan was great! She kept me posted about Shade and sent pictures. I liked she had other dogs for Shade to interact with. A plus is Siobhan’s location is very convenient to where I live. This is the third time I requested her services, however was only fortunate to book twice. Very pleased and would recommend!
