About: Hi! I’m MacKenzie, your pet’s new best friend and part-time squirrel scout. While I might not have a fancy pet-sitting degree, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and my own dog (a.k.a. my four-legged child) has taught me plenty—especially about basic training, reactivity, and the art of treating every leaf like it’s a masterpiece. I’m also a pro at giving meds and following care instructions to a T, so your pet’s routine won’t miss a beat. Plus, as an avid hiker, I’m more than happy to take active pups on day hikes for a little extra adventure! I get that every walk is a big deal, every squirrel is a personal nemesis, and if there’s a cat involved, they’re probably running the household. And yes, I’m here for my own steps too, because walking is my therapy! I'm currently in between full-time jobs, so I have ample flexibility for pet care throughout the week—perfect for midday walks, medication administration, or just dropping by to say “hello”! If your pet lives more than 30 minutes from Petersburg, they should be comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours once I return to full-time work. For now, my schedule is wide open, especially on weekends! Routine is important to me, and it’s no doubt important to your pets! My primary goal is always to limit the amount of change, so feeding and potty break times will be strictly adhered to. If there’s valuable training you’ve worked hard to implement, it won’t go to waste! Don’t be shy about letting me know exactly which cues and commands to use, and any other little personality quirks I should know about.

“Allyson was attentive to our family's needs and communicative while we were away. Our dogs were relaxed and happy with her. It was a pleasure having her house sit for us.”

“My husky puppy adores Carlita! It was so great to come home from my work trip to a clean & tidy space, tired and played-out dog, AND she even made time to make my bed so I could crawl right in. So thoughtful!”

About: I have lived dog with multiple dogs my whole life. I have 5 years of experience in the veterinary world that has broadened my horizon to the variety of breeds out there and the different requirements they need. I also specialize in medicating medicating our furry friends in the most stress-free way possible. I have experience training my own service dog from 8 weeks old to present and continue to keep his training up to date. I also specialize in hospice care for our are geriatric puppies, because no matter how old they are, they are always puppies to us. I am currently pet sitting for people Part-Time. my goal is to make caring for animals my full-time job. While I continuemaking commissioned pet portraits! Along with other commissions for various prints and paintings. At my house, dogs will eat separately from other dogs for safety and have long line leash walks for potty breaks. If a pet is known to have toy aggression, toys will be taken out of the equation. I do have a service dog that comes with me everywhere including my clients homes. If a client 's pet is dog aggressive or the cats are scared of dog, I will not have my service dog interact with them to give comfort and safety for all.

“Jammie did it again. She takes such great care of our animals while we are away. We feel no anxiety at all leaving our fur babies in her care. I cannot recommend her enough. Communication and thoughtfulness can’t be beat!”

About: I have experience with walking/running all kinds of dogs as well as providing playtime, feedings, and meds. I am detail oriented and give my all to each service and each pet! I always do my best to go above and beyond, showing your fur baby the love it deserves while you're not able to be there❤️ I have experience with cat sitting as well: litter, filling water and food, play time, etc. I also have a cat, so I'm keen on how to read their cues to avoid conflict and redirect with play time, treats, or whatever they like best. I work 7-5 most days, so I am available for walks in the evening or early morning. I am also available for weekend boardings or sittings from Friday evening through Sunday evening With my cat, I have habits of keeping all foods and breakables out of the way. If your pup or kitty is not friendly to other cats, I can split them in two separate rooms of my apartment which I'm happy to detail further on a case by case basis! I prefer sittings in your own home as it's less stress on your baby, but open to whatever you may need. Communication is my #1 priority along with everyone's safety 🥰

“Monique’s and her husband Daniel do an amazing job taking care of our Vizsla Skye! We have hired them many times and feel so comfortable leaving Skye in their care. sabrina s.
“Sabrina kept my 3 Dachshunds for a month at my home and did a great job. I have a ring camera and I know she took them out as requested and on schedule. They each had different medications they needed and she gave them their meds. Sabrina is such a loving dog sitter and am so glad she kept my boys. She sent me pics every few days as I was missing them. I could tell they were being loved and well cared for. The boys love her and her dog Comet, who also stayed too. While we were gone she worked with them to teach them not to bark at the door. She desensitized them to knocks and rings. Before, if they heard a knock or ring, they would bark like crazy and it took a long time to get them to be quiet. Now they hear a knock or ring and they bark but when I do what she showed me, they stop quickly and quiet down right away. I just loved having her keep my dogs. When I got home my house was just as clean as I left it. That was also very important to me. She is my go to person from now on.”
