She made sure that I knew that Willow was eating interacting with the other dogs and comfortable where she was. Not only will I rebook with Amanda. I already have.”

“This family was amazing. They met me and my dog at the car, showed us around and took time for both of us to be comfortable. The loving family environment was exactly what I hoped to feel. I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who wants to feel peace while you're away knowing your fur baby is being cared for as you would do.”

She kept me updated throughout his stay with plenty of pictures and messages, which truly put my mind at ease while I was away and showed how much fun he was having. It was clear he was well cared for and loved. To top it all off, she even sent him home with a sweet gift 🥹💖. We will be using them again next time we travel!”

“Candice is amazing!!! I don't have any human children and Daisy is my only Fur Baby so it's always extremely hard to leave her. Candice was so caring and welcoming, Daisy felt at ease almost immediately which provided a level of comfort and peace that I haven't experienced with any other sitter. I highly recommend Candice and will definitely contact her first for all of my pet-sitting needs.”

Kept in contact with me every step of the way, sent me the greatest photo updates, taught my puppy some new lessons, took incredible care of him, even washed my dishes she returned that my puppy had used while staying with her. Not only did she care for Penny as if she was her own, this was the first time Penny has been left with anyone other than family, and Sarah made Penny feel as though she was family. I would recommend Sarah to service your pet without hesitation only when I wouldn't need her again, period!”

“Denny was an awesome sitter for my little mami. I had to book him last minute because of some arrangements with my business trip and he was willing and friendly enough to take my puppy. The communications were clear and consistent. Throughout my trip I reached out to Denny to just check up on my baby and he was communicating very well as well as sending pictures. I will definitely book with him again and is looking for him to do dog sitting during the day while I’m at work 10 out of 10, I highly recommend.”

About: What sets me apart is 25 years of experience. I began pet sitting at the age of 10 and have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. Providing pets with a safe, loving, and comfortable environment has always been a passion of mine. Including walking, bathing, and working with both puppies and senior dogs. I also have experience with pet sitting more than one dog. I currently volunteer remotely for two hours once a week, so I have plenty of free time to care for your fur baby. I'm available Monday through Friday, but I'm happy to be flexible if you need weekend boarding or doggy day care for your fur baby. I have a fenced yard and a friendly small dog who would love to keep your fur baby company. If you prefer, I can also crate your dog with ease.

About: As a former teacher and parent, I bring a level of patience, structure, and attentiveness to dog care that closely mirrors what children need to feel safe, supported, and well-guided. I understand how important routine, consistency, and clear boundaries are—not just for behavior, but for overall well-being. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s a part of my daily life. I have hands-on experience with multiple breeds and temperaments, including my own dogs: three Huskies, a Dalmatian, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This has given me a strong understanding of both high-energy and more sensitive breeds, and how to balance activity with proper rest. My home is run as a family-supported, professionally managed boarding environment. My husband, a veteran, is also present and supportive, adding an extra level of attentiveness and reliability to the care your dog receives. What truly sets me apart is the intentional structure I provide. Dogs in my care are guided through a balanced routine that includes play, socialization, rest, and calm time. This helps prevent overstimulation, anxiety, and unsafe behaviors. This type of environment doesn’t just keep dogs safe—it helps them build better habits. Dogs learn to settle, share space appropriately, and become more comfortable around other dogs in a controlled setting. For many dogs, this supports improvements in reactivity, socialization, and overall behavior, helping them become more confident and well-adjusted outside of the home. I strongly believe that dogs thrive when their needs are met through routine, rest, and structure. Just like people, they require downtime and sleep to stay balanced. A consistent schedule helps prevent stress and overstimulation, creating a calmer, happier experience. I have experience caring for dogs with a variety of needs, but I am intentional about ensuring that each dog is a good fit for my environment, so I can maintain a safe, structured, and positive space for every dog in my care. Pet care is my full-time focus, and my daily schedule is built entirely around the dogs in my care. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, scheduled walks, outdoor play, and one-on-one attention. Dogs are cared for on a structured routine that includes activity, feeding, and designated rest periods to keep them balanced and comfortable. I’m able to maintain a calm, organized environment where dogs receive reliable care, attention, and structure every day. I provide care in a structured, well-managed home designed for safety, balance, and low stress. As an owner of 5 dogs, 3 different breeds who are trained, I know what dogs need to thrive, feel loved, and thrive socially. While dogs are treated with love and attention, this is not a free-roam environment. I operate a crate-structured system that allows each dog to rest, reset, and avoid overstimulation while also keeping all dogs safe. In my home: • Dogs are comfortably crate trained • Dogs are crated during rest periods, overnight, and when unsupervised • Dogs are rotated for safe, controlled interaction • Dogs are never left to freely roam together without supervision This setup allows me to safely care for multiple dogs while still providing individual attention and a calm atmosphere. For safety: • Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people and other dogs • No history of biting or unsafe behavior • Dogs must be able to remain calm when confined • Collar or harness is required at all times This environment is best suited for dogs who are used to structure, routine, and boundaries.

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for the past four years, in addition to caring for my own pets throughout my life. My previous dog, a Yorkie, gave me experience caring for a senior pet, including administering eye drops, following medication schedules, and managing a special diet. My current dog, Bella, is a 10-month-old AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy graduate who has taught me plenty about keeping up with energetic young dogs! I also share my home with two friendly, affectionate senior cats, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages and temperaments. I work Sunday through Wednesday, so my Thursdays through Saturdays are completely dedicated to your pup! My black Labrador, Bella, and I typically walk 1–2 miles three times a day. On hotter days, we switch to indoor enrichment and training games instead of long walks. Whether your dog loves an adventure or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor their stay to their individual needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and Bella, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand. Whether I’m boarding, dropping in for a visit, or taking your pup on a walk, I’ll follow their normal routine and tailor my care to their energy level and needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

But I'm more than willing to stay over whenever you need me to.

In addition to raising two dogs of my own, I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets while they’re at work or away. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind whether it’s while you’re at work or on vacation but when they’re with me you won’t have to worry because they’ll be well cared for and loved. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm but only live 5 minutes from my work. I am able to go home midday and have evening and weekends free to spend lots of time with your fur babies. I make sure that they will remain on they’re regular feedings and pawty schedules and are free to run the apartment if no need to crate. My apartment provides a fenced in yard for them to have safe and fun outdoor time. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. “Amanda did a fantastic job with Willow. I was impressed with Amanda’s follow up. I received pictures multiple times a day. She understands that Willow is my world. She made sure that I knew that Willow was eating interacting with the other dogs and comfortable where she was. Not only will I rebook with Amanda. I already have.”

“Abby did a wonderful job taking care of my Sammy. She kept us informed of how he was doing. We could enjoy our trip knowing he was in good hands. He was healthy and happy when we picked him. I would highly recommend her”

“Always a great visit with Dylan. Our pup was recovering from a surgery and needed a little extra care and Dylan made it easy and worry free. Will book with Dylan again.”

“Amanda and Adam sent me pictures of our dog every day and an update on how she was doing. She is a not an easy going dog because she is nervous and has separation anxiety, but they were able to handle her and she liked them, their dogs and their kids.

The pictures and updates allowed me to further relax, especially considering how happy my baby looked. I highly recommend Candice and will definitely contact her first for all of my pet-sitting needs.”
“Lisa is amazing and took great care of my boy, Henry! She provided updates and photos while dog sitting and has a nice home with fully fenced backyard to accommodate any dog. Henry enjoyed his stay and we'll definitely look to work with her again for dog sitting needs.”

“Deven and Tyreek provided excellent care for our dog while we were away and sent photos of her every other day. We really appreciated the piece of mind they provided so that we could enjoy ourselves!”

“Beverly was AMAZING. Kept in contact with me every step of the way, sent me the greatest photo updates, taught my puppy some new lessons, took incredible care of him, even washed my dishes she returned that my puppy had used while staying with her. I can’t say enough good things about her. I will absolutely be using her every time I go out of town. Her house was an incredible set up for dogs, especially the backyard. My puppy had the best time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Beverly!!!”

“Ellysia is the best! My pups had the greatest time with her and her family. Updated daily with pictures and activities. We will definitely be using her again and recommend her hands down.”

“If I could give 100 stars I would for the exceptional care Sarah gave to my baby I would.

About: I have lived dog with multiple dogs my whole life. I have 5 years of experience in the veterinary world that has broadened my horizon to the variety of breeds out there and the different requirements they need. I also specialize in medicating our furry friends in the most stress-free way possible. I have experience training my own service dog from 8 weeks old to present and continue to keep his training up to date. I also specialize in hospice care for our are geriatric puppies, because no matter how old they are, they are always puppies to us. I am currently pet sitting for people Part-Time. my goal is to make caring for animals my full-time job. While I continuemaking commissioned pet portraits! Along with other commissions for various prints and paintings. At my house, dogs will eat separately from other dogs for safety and have long line leash walks for potty breaks. If a pet is known to have toy aggression, toys will be taken out of the equation. I do have a service dog that comes with me everywhere including my clients homes. If a client 's pet is dog aggressive or the cats are scared of dog, I will not have my service dog interact with them to give comfort and safety for all.

“These lovely sitters have a special place in our hearts. They truly seem to be a second family to our precious Mae. Highly recommend above all if the other boarders we’ve used through Rover and other means of securing a pet sitter.”

“We have just returned from a month long vacation for us and one for our dog Chance with Shay & Jay. He had a wonderful experience with the whole family. He was happy and very well cared for while enjoying long walks, adventures and snuggles. Afraid of loud noises, Chance was given extra love over the 4th of July and during thunder storms. Sending frequent photos and adventure updates kept our minds at ease. We could tell he was so happy I worried he would not want to leave! We highly recommend Shay & Jay as care givers of your special dog no matter how long the visit. We definitely will use them in the future.”
