“Catherine has been walking our puppy 3 times a week and we are so happy we found her! She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She provides detailed information about every walk. She also works on training which I consider above and beyond. I highly recommend working with her!!”

“Penny was easy to work with and took great care of our dogs. She was very responsive and took extra care with Evie. We’re grateful for her help and would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.”

“We really appreciated James dropping in to let out our two adult dogs (Doberman and American Bulldog) and walking our 13 month old Doberman while we were out of town for the day! All three of our dogs absolutely adore him, and he is so good with them. We especially appreciated him walking our youngest dog, whose energy, size, and short attention span make that no small task!”

“Dakota was friendly, flexible, and reliable. Sam always enjoyed his time with Dakota. Dakota interspersed neighborhood walks & trips to the dog park with visits to Barnes & Noble and other places. We will use Dakota again without reservation and highly recommend him to care for your pet.”

“Christian was an amazing caregiver for our pup while we were gone. She's extremely thoughtful and thorough about getting to know each animal before beginning her time with them, and as a rescue owner I really appreciated that! Will definitely be using her again.”

“Amy is truly amazing! She takes the time to play with your pet if the weather is yucky and they can’t get the full walk in outside. Highly recommend!”

About: Because I grew up with 3 dogs and 4 cats, my friends and family know to reach out to me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets. I have also had to give medicine to some of the pets I've cared for, so giving your dog or cat pills won't be a problem. I am currently a Graduate student at UVA taking summer classes and want to care for some pets on the weekends or on Mondays when my schedule allows for it. Since I don't have pets here, I would love to give all my love and attention to yours! I know how much our pets mean to us, and I would make sure to follow any special instructions you have for your pets. I've been around dogs and cats since I was 5, so I can read pets' body language well. I always let the dog/cat approach me before initiating any petting because I know some pets are a little nervous around new people.
“Thanks so much to Tracy for all her help. Despite the cold and ice she took care of Sunny every morning. He enjoyed walks with her, playing and she gave him his food and water every morning. He's picky with people since he was adopted and she has been so great with him. Love the photos and updates. Thank you Tracy!”

“Jessica is fantastic! This was one of the first times our dog was taken out by someone she didn’t know very well. Our dog can be shy but warmed up to Jessica right away. She was so great with her and communicated so well with me. I felt very comfortable knowing my dog was in her hands!”

“Rachel is wonderful. This is now the third time she has taken care of walking our dogs while we are away. The dogs, both of them rescues, have gotten used to seeing Rachel and are eager to get their leashes on to go on a walk. Rachel is consistently on time and takes them on long walks. We will continue to request Rachel for future opportunities. Thank you!!”

“Julie is a very kind and reliable dog sitter! She walked my dog Ivy every week this summer and boarded Ivy in her home for a weekend. She is very responsive to messages and provides detailed Rover card walk recaps. Ivy seems to love her time with her. Thank you, Julie!”

“Thank you Kris! My pups always look so happy in the pictures with you and it’s the best thing in the world having a peace of mind that they are being taken care so well!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, including everything from cats and dogs to birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons…you name it. I currently have two dogs and two cats that I’ve had since they were all puppies and kittens. I’ve even had experience with seniors dogs who required insulin shots and other complicated medicine. I’m currently a stay at home parent, so I tend to have a good amount of flexibility to take care you your pets! Mid-mornings and mid-afternoons are typically my best times during the day. I have plenty of experience walking dogs all over the social spectrum. I do my best to be respectful of everyone’s space while walking. My dogs are all crate trained, so I’m very comfortable getting dogs into their crates, if needed.
About: I’ve taken care of small to medium sized dogs, fish, and cats since I was 15 years old. I have also taken care of reptiles for my friend. I focus on making sure that pets are clean, fed, happy, and healthy. I grew up with several cats, a fish, and one dog over the years. I am free on weekends before 11am and after 4pm typically and weekdays after 6:30pm. I work 7am-6pm M-F at my full time job. I will always make time to get your pet the care it needs. When I come over to check on your pet I check food, water, litter, and any medications. I also make time for walks, pets, and play. I like to give your fur baby the attention they need. I clean up any messes I find when I pet sit so you don’t have to.
“Alice was really accommodating by helping me out at the last minute. She was prompt in her responses through the app and send good communications and my dog. Great service! Thank you!”

My senior dogs are more excited to see Claire than they are to see me! They love her! And I love how consistent, reliable, kind, and flexible she is. The pics she sends are great, especially of her smart watch that tracks her steps during their walks. She has provided me assurance that my dogs are being exercised by a wonderful person while I'm away, and I can't thank her enough for that peace of mind.
