About: I've had dogs my whole life and started dog-sitting for my neighbors at 9 years old. I love all animals, but dogs have a very special place in my heart. I've worked with dogs of all ages, and over the summer, I cared for a puppy full-time for the family I nanny for. I am very comfortable with big dogs and have lots of experience with large breeds, including Corsos and English Mastiffs. I hope I can make your time away from your pets a little bit easier and less stressful! I am a full-time student at the University of Virginia (with a car), so I have classes during the weekdays; however, I do have many breaks and a few days each week without classes, so I have a lot of room for coming by to check in and help out in any way I can. What I do to keep the animals and myself safe really depends on the situation. When I walk, I always carry pepper spray, and I have collars with lights on them in case I am ever walking a dog in low visibility. The important thing to me is making sure I follow any specific requests from the owners!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet person who grew up with a whole host of cats and dogs. I love all pets but my favorites are big dogs and old cats — I have a 21 year old cat and a French Mastiff back home. My background as a teacher, nanny, house manager, and personal assistant means I’m reliable, organized, and great at keeping routines smooth. I’m happy to share references and I love meet & greets to make sure it’s a perfect fit. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! My law school classes start in the late morning and are spread throughout the day, which gives me flexibility for morning visits, midday check-ins, and walks. For clients in Charlottesville, I’m able to come back to the home between classes, so pets aren’t left alone for long stretches. When I care for pets in your home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, relaxed, and never feeling alone. I spend time with them in common spaces so they can get used to me. As an adult, I am lucky to be a cat mama to two beautiful boys, Tito and Cosmo, that I found as strays and have raised from ~6 weeks old. I have 7 years of experience in dog and cat care outside of my home, including puppy, kitten, and senior care, as well as pets that are a bit more anxious (or spicy!) than others. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs. I currently have two small Morkies, Pickle and Penny. Pickle requires a special diet and pills to be given daily. Penny loves to be close and cuddle. My parents dogs is a black lab who over the past few years I’ve helped take care of. She has Addison disease and requires medication daily. She also needs a special routine to help keep her from getting overwhelmed. I’ve also had cats throughout my whole life and frequently had to give medications to my last cat Tilly. I really am looking forward to an opportunity to help be involved in your pets life. Whether it’s for a short walk, a play in the park, or just cuddles. I can’t have cats or other dogs because my wife is allergic to them. I’ve recently moved away from my family and looking to be able to still be able help other animals. I love caring and helping people but I also love caring for animals. My schedule is different every week but I am able to visit anytime I am off. I have two dogs of my own at home.
