About: I have taken care of many different types of pets since I was 8 years old. From neighbors to friends, they have used me while vacationing or just while working long hours. I do gig work for a living from spark, DoorDash, to Instacart and I live in town. Being flexible makes it extremely easy to make stops and take care of any pets. I have a dog park in my complex that I take pups to. I also love to walk on town trails. We spend a lot of outdoor time if that is what they like. I also follow whatever routine the client wants. If they enjoy being around the family and playful, that is just what they do. I treat them like my own.

Diego P.

“Diego was great. Extremely responsible. His communication was excellent and we appreciated his efforts and flexibility when unexpected changes occurred.”

Samantha R.
“Samantha was very professional and picked Nova up on time even though I had a meeting and needed her last minute. She took her for the full 30 minutes and sent me a pic of them. Thanks to her I got a lot done and Nova got a nice walk!”

Kris P.

“Kris diligently worked to persuade my neurotic dogs to go on a walk with her. She was very patient and understanding with them and I look forward to working with her again”

About: I have been around dogs all my life, and have learned how to properly train them through experience and good mentors. I also have watched much of The Dog Whisperer & other training videos online. I’ve seen critiques of Cesar Milan, with people saying he’s unnecessarily enforcing dominance roles; I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out which is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet, but I may do exercises like leash training to remind them that I am in control, and they don’t need to be in extreme protector mode. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. He sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come, for example. Our housemate had a dying dog and I was there alongside him helping her care for him until his last moments. I also believe in reincarnation which helps me really see and have extra patience with each dog as I see them as a soul who is here to learn and experience. My husband and I have a relaxed lifestyle that allows us to be home most days other than side jobs and catering shifts on the weekends. We are in the midst of moving a couple hours east of here, albeit very slowly, so if your pup is with us for a while there’s a chance he or she will get to see the rural area of Middlesex VA and interact with some chickens! Both areas are far away from a main highway or there is a good fence. I have two friendly dogs, a Pomeranian and a whippet mix. We let them in and out as they choose, and have a couple acres for them to run and play on. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running.

Christian A.

“Christian has been such a blessing for us during the last month! She has been so accommodating with our schedule and the needs of our two pups, Finn and Otis. Christian is attentive, caring, and she goes above and beyond when she’s working with us and our dogs. She is a great communicator and is always punctual. We are so lucky to have found her!”

About: I’ve watched many different breeds of dogs for neighbors, family, and friends for the last few years and have cat sit for several friends. I’m super reliable, trustworthy, and love to meet new pets. I currently work 9-5 during the week but work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am an early riser and generally have evening and weekend availability! In my current apartment, I’m not allowed to have a pet :( Growing up, I’ve always had dogs and cats and making sure they were always safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention and affection was super important for me. I like to be firm but caring with my own animals.

Jayne & Rowan R.
About: We are long-time dog lovers and approved foster parents with the local SPCA! Jayne has experience caring for and training a reactive, traumatized dog, and the two of us have fostered puppies, medical fosters, and adopted our own 2 friendly dogs. We only offer availability on days where your dog will be well cared for. Rowan is a grad student and Jayne works a 15 min walk away. Your dogs will receive lots of love and attention! We have 2 rescue dogs who love to meet and play with new friends! Our home has a fenced in backyard and lots of toys. We can provide positive reinforcement for your pups, are comfortable with bathing them (if you would like!) and have toys all around!

Maria R.

“Maria is wonderful: she's reliable, responsible, communicative, and fantastic with my dog. She takes him for great walks, provides lots of pictures, can help last minute. Though I haven't used her for boarding or house sitting, I would trust her entirely to do so. Thanks!”

Catherine T.

“I appreciated Catherine's update through the RoverCard of my pups' walk; I knew they were in good hands. She's very responsive to booking requests and to the needs of the dogs; we will definitely be using her again.”

Victoria W.

“Ever since Victoria was a baby, our family has had pets (cats). We added a dog to the family when she was 11 and now we have three little dogs. Last time I left the country for a few days, Victoria was left in charge of our three dogs and seven cats! She walked the dogs every day - all three of them together! That is no easy feat! She has a big heart for animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats, and they love her. Animals can sense when somebody likes or loves them; I think she will make a very responsible and loving dog caregiver for your organization.”

Hannah F.

“Hannah was great! Reliable, punctual and confident with my fairly large German Shepherd. I will definitely call Hannah again and recommend without hesitation.”

Alia W.
“Alia has been an animal lover for as long as I have known her. Her gentle and loving approach to animal care will definitely make her an asset to any caregiving company.”

Isaiah C.
“Isaiah has always been extremely kind to dogs! It's beautiful to see how he feels affection and how he respects every living being on this earth as his equal. Patient, caring, and responsible are the words I would describe Isaiah!”

Caroline H.

“I had a last minute emergency need for a dog walker for a pup that can be afraid of walking near cars, and had never met Caroline before. Unfortunately, I could not arrange for a meetup beforehand. Caroline was accommodating and understanding when Poppy did not want to walk on the second day, so instead she played with her in our yard. Thank you Caroline for filling this massive need for us and removing a big anxiety for us!”

Alyssa F.

“Alyssa did a wonderful job taking care of my dog! She was attentive and communicated well and sent lots of pictures. Our dogs even got to go on walks together and had so much fun.”

Olivia A.
“Olivia is a wonderful young woman. Very kind and responsible! Every time she comes to our house, our dog is always very excited to see her. She is great with him. I would hire her in a heartbeat!”

Alyssa S.
“Alyssa has cared for my 3 geriatric dogs and cat on numerous occasions. She is a very loving pet caregiver. She is super responsible and always on time.”

Kassie G.
“Kassie truly loves dogs! She volunteers walking dogs at CASPCA, always helps out with friends who need an extra hand with their pets, has a family dog, and takes great care of all dogs as if they were her own.”

Emily T.

“This was the first time Emily has walked Theo and everything went smoothly! Great communication! Will definitely check out her schedule the next time Theo needs walked”
