About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for many different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 pup currently residing with me. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with all types of animals, my reliability, and how much I truly love caring for them. Growing up with dogs, barn cats, and horses has equipped me with a diverse skill set when it comes to animal care! I have experience administering medicine, cleaning up accidents, managing reactive dogs, and caring for animals of all ages. For years, I have been doing drop-in visits and overnight stays caring for dogs, cats, and even goats! I’m organized, reliable, responsible, and adaptable to your pet’s specific needs. For the Fall 2026 semester, I am consistently busy Tuesdays and Thursdays midday and for a few hours in the evenings, but am available in the mornings and every other day of the week. I’m happy to share references and I love meet & greets to make sure it’s a perfect fit. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! My law school classes start in the late morning and are spread throughout the day, which gives me flexibility for morning visits, midday check-ins, and walks. For clients in Charlottesville, I’m able to come back to the home between classes, so pets aren’t left alone for long stretches. When I care for pets in your home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, relaxed, and never feeling alone. I spend time with them in common spaces so they can get used to me. If they’re comfortable, I let pets sleep in my room at night so they don’t feel lonely or miss their owners too much. Safety is a top priority for me—I never take dogs outside a fenced yard without a leash, even if they’re well trained, and I’m very careful with doors and entryways (I know all the kitty-proof tricks to prevent curious cats from sneaking out). I enjoy playing with pets who are able, I’m very clean and tidy, quick to handle messes, and I treat your home with care. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs. I currently have two small Morkies, Pickle and Penny. Pickle requires a special diet and pills to be given daily. Penny loves to be close and cuddle. My parents dogs is a black lab who over the past few years I’ve helped take care of. She has Addison disease and requires medication daily. She also needs a special routine to help keep her from getting overwhelmed. I’ve also had cats throughout my whole life and frequently had to give medications to my last cat Tilly. I really am looking forward to an opportunity to help be involved in your pets life. Whether it’s for a short walk, a play in the park, or just cuddles. I can’t have cats or other dogs because my wife is allergic to them. I’ve recently moved away from my family and looking to be able to still be able help other animals. I love caring and helping people but I also love caring for animals. My schedule is different every week but I am able to visit anytime I am off. I have two dogs of my own at home. We have a dog park in the neighborhood that is fenced. I am able to be flexible with your animal needs. I can walk and play or just hang out with them. I can crate them before I leave, or give medications. I am overall very flexible and willing to meet your animals needs!

In high school, my mom started doing Rover, and I loved coming home after school to a new friendly face every day!
