About: I grew up with pets and have been dog and cat sitting since middle school for friends, family, and neighbors. In high school, my mom started doing Rover, and I loved coming home after school to a new friendly face every day! I’m happy to go on walks, cuddle on the couch, play in the yard, or simply hang out—whatever makes your pet happiest. I work full-time, but I’m happy to carve out time before work, during my lunch break, or promptly at 5 p.m. to give your pet some love and attention. If you work long hours, need a midday break for your pet, or need help on evenings or weekends, I’m flexible and happy to work around your schedule! I’m happy to follow any guidelines you provide to keep your pet comfortable and on their normal routine. I can accommodate walks of any length, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and pay close attention to your pet’s individual needs, quirks, and preferences. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away!

About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for many different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 pup currently residing with me. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with all types of animals, my reliability, and how much I truly love caring for them. I understand how important it is to find someone to trust with your pets. I'm very communicative, respectful of each pet's/owner's unique needs, and can confidently handle anything from a laid-back walk to giving medications or handling multiple pets simultaneously. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I'll treat your pup like family! Pet care is at the center of my daily life! Rover is my full-time job, which allows me to dedicate my full attention to the pets I care for. I am currently a nursing student in my third semester, but I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to focus completely on your pet’s needs. I live near the college campus, surrounded by hiking trails and parks which is perfect for daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, whether it’s relaxing at home, going for walks, playing in the dog park, or exploring nearby trails. In my home, your pet will also have the opportunity to socialize with my own friendly dog, who loves making new pup friends. I always keep a close eye on behavior and health to make sure they are happy and stress-free. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away!

About: I grew up in a house full of dogs in Nigeria, more than 20 over the years, and helped raise and train them from the day they were born. I taught basic commands, cared for newborn puppies, and handled everything from playful escape artists to protective mamas. Dogs have been part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. Now I’m a fourth-year at UVA, and since my apartment doesn’t allow pets, Rover lets me keep dogs in my life while giving owners reliable, attentive care. I treat every dog like one of my own because for most of my life, they were. I’m a fourth-year student at UVA with a flexible schedule. I’m available most early evenings, and weekends, and I keep my calendar updated weekly. If there’s a time you need but it’s blocked out, feel free to request anyway; I’m often able to accommodate. I live near Grounds, so I can easily do midday drop-ins and walks. Your home, your rules! I follow your existing routines and safety instructions exactly, keep doors and gates secured, always leash up for walks, and send photo updates every visit so you have total peace of mind

About: I have my own dog that I’ve been training since he was a puppy. I have experience potty training, giving oral medication and more. I grew up with dogs and have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. I have experience with large and small dogs as well as young and older dogs. I just graduated with a bachelors in biochemistry & Nutrition and Exercise at Virginia Tech. I’m now home living with my parents and have a very flexible schedule!
