About: Because I grew up with 3 dogs and 4 cats, my friends and family know to reach out to me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets. I have also had to give medicine to some of the pets I've cared for, so giving your dog or cat pills won't be a problem. I am currently a Graduate student at UVA taking summer classes and want to care for some pets on the weekends or on Mondays when my schedule allows for it. Since I don't have pets here, I would love to give all my love and attention to yours! I know how much our pets mean to us, and I would make sure to follow any special instructions you have for your pets. I've been around dogs and cats since I was 5, so I can read pets' body language well. I always let the dog/cat approach me before initiating any petting because I know some pets are a little nervous around new people.

About: Hi, I'm Lindsay! 35 year old, non-delicate, fun-loving, and high spirited animal caregiver. I've had dogs at home from infancy through adulthood, and I love cats just as much! I'm comfortable walking big/small dogs and dogs that pull are not an issue. I have no allergies and love all animals, whether its dogs, cats, reptiles, birds- not about spiders though... Getting outside- to the beach, for a nice walk or just a good hike are some of my favorite activities and I'm crazy for exercise! I'd love to hang out with your animal family! I work full time but am currently remote 2 days a week! I have a dog named Goose who gets along with everyone who loves to walk and hike. In my home, I ensure to child proof anything your pet could get into that would be unsafe and give them lots of belly rubs and love. In your home, I would keep them under close watch to know that they aren’t getting into anything that could hurt them or could hurt your property.

About: I've been caring for pets for years and have always been surrounded by animals. I grew up with cats and black Labrador Retriever. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels, from puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and care. I’m also experienced in handling leash training, and recognizing behavioral cues to ensure pets feel safe and loved! I’m currently only offering weekends until I figure out my schedule for the summer since I’m working part time and doing research! I can do house-sitting/overnight stays, drop ins, and walking! I'm happy to go on long walks or to the park for some fun! For lower-energy dogs, I'm just as content to relax with them or enjoy some calm time outside.
