Law student and cat mom of two!
I moved to Virginia from Philadelphia in August 2024 to begin law school at the University of Virginia. I am looking to support my education by sharing my love for all pups, big and small, old young, here in Charlottesville. Back in Tennessee where I grew up, I had a loving black lab who taught me SO much about how to best care for dogs, through the goods and bads. I am always eager to learn more about your dog’s special needs however I can.

Unfortunately, I’m unable to bring your pets into my own home as I live with two cats of my own. But comfort and safety in their own home is of the utmost importance to me! I can guarantee that I will be reliable and attentive to your pet’s special needs.

Tessa was an absolute lifesaver when I needed a cat sitter on such short notice. She was so kind and attentive to both of my cats, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. She sent me the cutest pictures during her drop-ins, which I absolutely loved getting! One of my cats is VERY shy and spent most of the time hiding under the bed, but Tessa was so patient with her and even brought her food under the bed to make sure she was eating and comfortable. My other cat is a bit more social and absolutely loved all the playtime and attention she got! It was so sweet seeing the pictures of her having the best time.l
Tessa was very kind and kept me updated through my trip! She even helped with extra clean-up.
Tessa was truly the best with my dog, Stella and I will absolutely be booking with her again. She provided great updates, communicated daily, and was flexible with our needs. Stella was a very lucky pup to spend the week with Tessa!
AMAZING. Tessa stayed over and cared for our bubs for a week. He was so happy with her. She also was a very thoughtful house guest and I felt so at peace having her help with our doggo.
Tessa gives consistently wonderful care to our cat! Our cat is always grumpy with us when we return home, but he’s far less grumpy after Tessa spends time with him!!
Tessa is reliable, takes great pics for report cards, and always communicates! We love her, but, more importantly, our cat loves her.

Dates de la garde
I have a designated class schedule M-F, but all days have breaks throughout the day (some days, like Fridays, are very flexible). This typically means I am available for early morning or mid-day drop-ins or walks, or anything after about 5pm or so. Overnights and weekends also work great for me.
