“Amy was a fantastic friend to our 10-year old Husky while we were out of town. She frequently went “above and beyond” to assure that She was calm and settled. Our reports were detailed and thoughtful. Additional, she was extremely responsive to us and our dog. We are grateful and recommend her as a thoughtful, caring pet partner!”

“Dakota was friendly, flexible, and reliable. Sam always enjoyed his time with Dakota. Dakota interspersed neighborhood walks & trips to the dog park with visits to Barnes & Noble and other places. We will use Dakota again without reservation and highly recommend him to care for your pet.”

“I'm very thankful to have found Emil. I work in retail and consequently work almost every weekend. Emil walks my little chihuahua for me every Saturday and Sunday. He's very reliable and I never worry that he won't be able to make it. He also responds to any requests or questions very quickly. I wholeheartedly recommend Emil if you need someone to help care for your pups!”

“This is the first time we hired Christian to walk our dog and it was a great experience. Christian was so kind with Remy and made sure that he was comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Kris diligently worked to persuade my neurotic dogs to go on a walk with her. She was very patient and understanding with them and I look forward to working with her again”

About: I have always grown up with both cats and dogs in my household and have been a lover of animals from a young age. I have house sat for most of my family members before I went to college and consistently watch my roommates cat, who has lived with us for four years, anytime she is out of town. I currently am a full time graduate student at UVA, just looking for a few jobs here and there between classes and another part time job! Most of my availability is in the morning and afternoons on the weekdays and afternoon and evenings on the weekends. I have been told on many occasions that I have a loving and kind demeanor which I will share with your pets. I would be honored to give your pets some love when you are out of town, working, or just busy!
About: I have been dog and cat sitting/walking since I was 13 years old! I have experience with puppies, senior pups, cats/kittens, along with many different breeds! I’m staying in Charlottesville for school now, but at home I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Safe to say I have experience with the craziness :) I’m currently a full time student at UVA, so I have a little bit of a varying schedule. On Wednesday’s I am available all day after 11! Tuesday and Thursday I am available all day after 12:15! My Mondays tend to a little more hectic with availability before 10:30 and from 12-3. Fridays and weekends are relatively free with enough of a notice! I can take care of your fur baby in whatever way needed in your home! Walks, medications, crates, fences, whatever they’re used to! My apartment doesn’t allow pets so I will exclusively care for them in your home!
“Jessica is fantastic! This was one of the first times our dog was taken out by someone she didn’t know very well. Our dog can be shy but warmed up to Jessica right away. She was so great with her and communicated so well with me. I felt very comfortable knowing my dog was in her hands!”

“Alice was very responsive and I so appreciate that she was able to help me out on short notice! Great communication and it’s clear that she is very experienced working with dogs.”

About: Growing up in a military community, I have dog/cat-sit for my neighbors when they had expected times away from home. When the unexpected happens, I am not afraid to jump in and lend a helping hand. With three furbabies (all rescues!) of my own back home in Virginia Beach, I have experience with kittens/puppies, adult dogs/cats, and senior cats. I have a love a lot of love in my heart to give for all sorts of animals. If I am not at work or studying, you can find me reading on the lawn on a sunny day or volunteering at the CASPCA! I'm a student and I work part time, but I'm happy to help on both weekends and weekdays regardless. Spending time with pets is a much needed destresser for me, so when I'm available I love to help out! I have experience with trained and untrained animals, and am patient to manage all sorts of situations in the home. I am very cleanly, so mantaining a safe environment for your pet is no problem. A stewardess of the environment, you can book knowing no poop is left behind on walks (or in your yard!)
“Julie is a very kind and reliable dog sitter! She walked my dog Ivy every week this summer and boarded Ivy in her home for a weekend. She is very responsive to messages and provides detailed Rover card walk recaps. Ivy seems to love her time with her. Thank you, Julie!”

About: I've been caring for pets for years and have always been surrounded by animals. I grew up with cats and black Labrador Retriever. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels, from puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and care. I’m also experienced in handling leash training, and recognizing behavioral cues to ensure pets feel safe and loved! I’m currently only offering weekends until I figure out my schedule for the summer since I’m working part time and doing research! I can do house-sitting/overnight stays, drop ins, and walking! I'm happy to go on long walks or to the park for some fun! For lower-energy dogs, I'm just as content to relax with them or enjoy some calm time outside.
About: Hi, I'm Lindsay! 35 year old, non-delicate, fun-loving, and high spirited animal caregiver. I've had dogs at home from infancy through adulthood, and I love cats just as much! I'm comfortable walking big/small dogs and dogs that pull are not an issue. I have no allergies and love all animals, whether its dogs, cats, reptiles, birds- not about spiders though... Getting outside- to the beach, for a nice walk or just a good hike are some of my favorite activities and I'm crazy for exercise! I'd love to hang out with your animal family! I work full time but am currently remote 2 days a week! I have a dog named Goose who gets along with everyone who loves to walk and hike. In my home, I ensure to child proof anything your pet could get into that would be unsafe and give them lots of belly rubs and love. In your home, I would keep them under close watch to know that they aren’t getting into anything that could hurt them or could hurt your property.
“Robert was on time and gave my dog lots of care and attention while I was out of town for a couple days. He was responsive to messages, asked good questions, and sent photos daily.”

“Booked Hope last minute to walk my dog a few times while I was going to be out of the house overnight. She made sure to be available the times I needed her, was on time, and my dog really liked her. Thank you, and I will definitely be booking with you again in the future!”
