About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and am currently trying to build my portfolio. I volunteered at the Cincinnati Animal Shelter for 3 consecutive years before I moved to Indianapolis, where I volunteered and fostered at Indy Humane!! I am now in Charlottesville for the summer as I prepare for law school and my boyfriend starts his Masters at UVA. I am currently available because Rover is my main work priority this summer, allowing me flexible scheduling and consistent availability for bookings, care, and communication. About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

Tengo un apartamento bastantes amplio dónde tu mascota puede estar tranquilamente, tengo algunos premios, juguetes, comida, cosas con las cuales estoy segura no podria aburrirse, me gusta mucho salir a caminar asi que podria ser un gran beneficio si lo que necesitas es que tu mascota salga a despejarse un poco.

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

Will and Vanessa are very good with our Dog. They have been taking care of our mini Australian Shepherd ever since we got her. They treat her like she is their dog. Our dog loves to go there. She look forward to it when we go around the corner, she knows where he’s going and she’s all excited. He loves to see their twin daughters as well as their older daughter. They are a 10+
Rebecca was absolutely amazing with our sheepadoodle Ottie. We were away in the Netherlands for 8 days and couldn't have asked for a better person to leave her with. Rebecca is highly professional in running her business - she knows what dogs need and has orderly systems in place for taking care of the pups - but she is also very loving and attentive with the dogs in her care. Ottie connected with her right away when we did our initial meet and greet and was happy to see her when we dropped off before we left for our trip. While away, Rebecca messaged us every day with updates and pics of our Ottie playing and having fun with the other dogs that she cares for, including some that are her own. Ottie got a bit of an upset stomach while we were away, but Rebecca let us know and went above and beyond to take care of her and help her to feel better. Overall, we never once felt stressed or worried about Ottie while we were away. We'll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much Rebecca!
I always know Doc’s in good hands when he stays with Jesse and Emily! They take great care of him and totally welcome him into their family. The photos they send me warm my heart as I see how happy Doc is in their care. It’s always a win when they can keep him when I travel.
Penny was an outstanding sitter to work with. Our pups seemed to do really well with her and her own dogs. She was very accommodating, a great communicator, and super easy to work with in every respect. We were also sent plenty of pictures throughout their visit. I’d recommend Penny to anyone looking for help with their pet(s).
