About: I've been taking care of animals of all kinds since I was 12! I started volunteering early with a local humane society and have been active in rescues ever since. I have also fostered dogs from two months-10 years old, including medical fosters, so I'm comfortable giving pets medicine if need be. I currently work at UVA in their communications office, where I have a lot of flexibility, especially on Thursdays and Fridays when I work remotely. I'm available most weekends and many holidays! I live in a shared house with a unfenced backyard and a couple of roommates, both of whom love dogs! There's a trail near me that I enjoy walking dogs on if they are OK with other people/dogs. Otherwise, I take dogs on walks once or twice daily.
About: Not only did I grow up with 2-3 dogs in the house, but my mom has worked for a dog rescue the last 10 years. My family has fostered more than 100 dogs ranging from newborn puppies to end of life care for senior dogs. I have helped with everything from feeding, cleaning, creating enrichment, and exercising dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently taking time off of work before I move abroad for graduate school in September so am completely flexible! I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets health and happiness! I have a fenced in yard and two super docile and friendly spayed female dogs who have also spent extensive time with other dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I also have spent a lot of time caring for other people’s pets in their homes without issue.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience four our dog, Sadie. From the moment we met Jesse and Emily, we knew Sadie was in good hands. By the way she walked right into their home, it was obvious she would fit into the family. While away, we received regular updates on Sadie and several photos of her outside on walks, snuggling on the couch, playing with their girls, and having fun discovering new toys. It was obvious how happy and engaged Sadie was, which was very reassuring. Svitlana was an absolute gem of a find! I left my fur baby with her for 17 days, and my girl was so well taken care of- it brought so much reassurance as we were apart for that lengthy period. Numerous walks, play dates with other dogs, tug of war - all captured on videos and pictures that she shared with me. I highly recommend her as I will be using her again in the future!
When I dropped him off it was like dropping my child off. My dog has a CHF and I have never left him with a sitter. Instantly I received pics of him all throughout his entire stay. They were such a godsend and took so good of care to my Teton. Highly recommend them. Their entire family gets involved with the dogs. What a lovely home and family they were for my Teton!!
