****NOTICE- I am very excited to announce that I have finished renovating my basement and it is now fully furnished. This comes as exciting news because as of January 2025 I will be offering Boarding and Daycare Services in my home. I will stay in the fully furnished basement with the dogs when they stay over night. The basement opens up directly into my large, fenced backyard. My basement includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. So, your pet will truly get to enjoy a home away from home! **** I also offer transportation services!! Need me to pick your pet up or drop them off at daycare or an appointment? Message me during a booking and I will be happy to help!

Please inform me of any special care needs, medication schedules, and any behaviors I should be aware of. If possible, I would love to do a meet and greet in advance.
A typical day
I will take dogs in my care to check out the smells in around the neighborhood, at local parks, and on hiking/walking trails. Please feel free to provide destinations that you know they love! Or, areas to avoid. I can accommodate crating/nap schedules, specific feeding times, and medication regimens. We will play games of preference and go meet new friends at local dog parks (if permitted), as well as much needed rest periods. I have experience with dogs that have difficult behaviors. I will keep your home neat and clean with everything in the same condition as when I entered the home (and little extra TLC). I strive to end each day with a happy healthy pet.

I have taken care of pets since I was 10. I have bathed, walked, fed, and provided environment/habitat care for paid clients, neighbors and friends dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, snakes, horses, lambs, and pigs. Coworkers and friends have hired me to train their puppies. I have 2 Chihuahuas and a sheepadoodle that live in my two bed room house in Charlottesville. My pets are polite, follow commands, and most of all loved! They are allowed on the furniture and bed. As adults my pets are not crated day or night. My pets have constant access to food and water. At my Charlottesville home, I take them outside in a large fenced in backyard every 2-4 hours. They go for 30 minute walks 2 times daily. When I care for other's pets I follow the instructions provided by the owner and honor any reasonable requests.

Rebecca was absolutely amazing with our sheepadoodle Ottie. We were away in the Netherlands for 8 days and couldn't have asked for a better person to leave her with. Rebecca is highly professional in running her business - she knows what dogs need and has orderly systems in place for taking care of the pups - but she is also very loving and attentive with the dogs in her care. Ottie connected with her right away when we did our initial meet and greet and was happy to see her when we dropped off before we left for our trip. While away, Rebecca messaged us every day with updates and pics of our Ottie playing and having fun with the other dogs that she cares for, including some that are her own. Ottie got a bit of an upset stomach while we were away, but Rebecca let us know and went above and beyond to take care of her and help her to feel better. Overall, we never once felt stressed or worried about Ottie while we were away. We'll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much Rebecca!
Max seems to love Rebecca’s place and all the new friends. Rebecca kept Max for a week and was detailed with daily updates and photos. Will def book again!
