I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications.

Dogs were very happy, calm, and very well cared for. Ashley was also really flexible.
Ashley watched my Lexie, 5 and a half year old black lab, for 6 days. She provided me daily updates and photos of Lexi's activities to keep me informed that she was doing well. I highly recommend Ashley as a resource to care for your dog as well.
Ashley was great! She let me know when she arrived and how Buster greeted her. She kept Buster company for several hours during my longer than usual work day— preventing him from getting too anxious about being alone. You can tell Ashley is a true animal lover as well as being very conscientious and reliable. Will definitely reach out to her again for dog sitting!
Ashley is an incredible caregiver for our two dogs. I can honestly say that I do not worry for one second when our furry children are in her capable hands. They come home healthy, happy and tired in the best possible way for the many walks and hikes they take when with Ashley. There are few recommendations which I can make which are without any hesitation and having Ashley care for our pets is absolutely one of them!
