Hi! I’m a huge dog lover and offer a safe, calm, and thoughtful home environment for boarding. I take a lot of care in how I work with dogs because I know how much trust it takes to leave them with someone new. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel comfortable, low-stress, and genuinely enjoyable, while giving you complete peace of mind. I use a science-based, force-free approach, focusing on reinforcing good behaviors and helping dogs feel confident and secure in a new environment. I’m happy to support training goals during their stay, including loose-leash walking, recall, desensitization, grooming tolerance, ignoring distractions (like food or other dogs), public access skills, and puppy or new dog basics. Whether or not your dog has specific goals, I reinforce consistent everyday manners to keep the visit smooth and positive. I’m very interested in dog behavior and training, so if there’s something specific you’re working on that I haven’t listed, I’d be excited to learn and support you and your pup!

In a new environment, rest is just as important as activity, so I’m intentional about giving dogs high-quality downtime tailored to their needs so they stay relaxed and well-regulated. I take time to understand each dog’s personality and provide the right balance of structure, activity, and rest. All care is fully customizable to your preferences, including routines, activity levels, and multiple sleeping arrangements to ensure your dog feels at home. I also like to set up a meet and greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit.

A typical day
I prioritize meaningful mental stimulation through breed-appropriate enrichment—not just passive toys. This includes training games, scent work, puzzles, chews, and interactive feeding, all with human engagement. Physical needs are met through walks, hikes, play, yard time, and (with permission) outings like dog parks, depending on your dog’s comfort level. Your dog will also have the option for safe, positive social interaction with my friendly young pup, if appropriate. I’m super passionate about dog behavior and training, so if you have something specific in mind that I haven’t listed, I’d love to learn and support you.”
