Dog Walking Commonwealth

About: I have been taking care of friends, family members animals for over 2 years now while attending college. I love giving care to their furry friends while they are away. Having animals myself I understand the need to have a trustworthy caretaker while away! I look forward to become your pets new friend! I currently work 30/32 hours a week usually during the early mornings or mid afternoons. I have usually offered early morning walks or evening walks to those in need! I am able to do overnights as well, but always check to make sure the animals will be okay while I work! I have always tried to take care of the pets in the exact way the client has asked. I am able to sit in during meals, stay to get energy out, or even squirrel watch! I always try to make the animals stay in the routine that they have known!

I also am a volunteer at the local spca I just finished my graduate program at UVA so I have lots of free time to care for and play with your pups and cats!! About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for many different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 pup currently residing with me. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, whether it’s relaxing at home, going for walks, playing in the dog park, or exploring nearby trails. In my home, your pet will also have the opportunity to socialize with my own friendly dog, who loves making new pup friends. I always keep a close eye on behavior and health to make sure they are happy and stress-free. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away!

Since I was a child, my grandmother always reminded me that “God spelled backwards is Dog,” and that sentiment has stayed with me my entire life. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I consistently follow necessary protocol such as checking fence gates before letting your dog outside, locking doors, making sure I don’t step outside without a key, and doing a final check that things are in order before leaving your home. My preference is to leave your home in a better condition than when I found it.
