About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of pets since I was young. I spent a year taking care of farm animals in Hawaii! Additionally, I have skills in administering medication. I’ve taken care of pretty much any animal you can think of: dogs, cats, chickens, birds, ducks, pigs, goats, etc! I also have experience with kittens and senior dogs. I am currently working part time in the area so I will have plenty of time during the week and weekend to take care of your babies! I am able to help with any of your pet care needs in your home and bring a peaceful, playful, and attentive energy to your animals.

“Dana came through for us on a holiday weekend, when we had a different cancellation. She was responsive and friendly in communication, and take great care of our two large Newfies!”

About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets, I bring both heartfelt dedication and professional expertise to every furry friend I meet. My journey began with my first puppy, who I lovingly walked daily, bathed with care, and shared my home and heart with. This deep bond inspired me to pursue a degree in Animal Science at UC Davis, where I specialized in companion animals and gained comprehensive knowledge of pet health, behavior, and care. Throughout my undergraduate years, I volunteered and interned at numerous shelters and clinics, where I assisted with surgery prep and recovery, microchipping, post-op care, feeding, and cleaning. These experiences sharpened my ability to recognize early signs of illness and deliver calm, capable care—even in medical situations. At home, I care for two adopted cats who were originally rescued from a shelter. I’ve provided them with a safe, loving environment ever since they first arrived as house-sitting guests. Whether it’s walking dogs, managing senior or special-needs pets, or offering overnight stays, I treat every animal as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and genuine love. Pet care fits very easily into my daily routine since I currently only have a flexible part-time job. I usually work 2 shifts per week (each shift is 4-hour long), and the rest of the time I’ll be home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care for your pets throughout the day. I can easily accommodate daily walks, feedings, drop-ins, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities—whether I’m doing drop-in visits, day care, or boarding in my home. I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment and always follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and stress-free. With my animal science background and clinical experience, I’m confident in handling medications, special needs, and spotting early signs of illness. I treat every pet like family and always keep you updated with messages and photos.

“Kaitlyn has been fantastic - a wonderful communicator; great with Selah (who was clearly comfortable and happy to be with her); and very dependable! Would definitely hire Kaitlyn again.”

“Jessica is terrific!! I have a sweet dog, but she can be kinda difficult to wake up, and then she can have a mind of her own when it comes to walks (and she's a big dog). Jessica took the time needed to wake her up gently, give her a good walk, feed her, and settle her back down for her nap. I could see that my dog went on her "preferred" walks both times. And Jessica texted me throughout to let me know how things were going. I would definitely call her again (and am glad to know somebody so dependable - and whom my dog likes!. Thank you, Jessica!”

“Ellen was amazing. I needed someone to walk my dog for a few days and she was more than willing. Luna loved her from the beginning and she is very detailed in her notes at the end of the walks. I’ll definitely be asking for her help with Luna in the future”

“Cynthia B. is absolutely wonderful. I have a very timid boxer, who is very weary of new people. Cynthia was so patient with Tina, she broke in with her so fast. Tina is so excited to be with Cynthia and her pack every day. Tina gets a nice long walk and comes home tired and happy!”

I have always lived with dogs and/or cats of all different breeds and sizes and have worked extensively with the free-roaming populations of dogs in the Southwestern US. I also have experience with difficult to walk dogs and puppies, but am not partial to any pup :) I am currently a student with a flexible schedule and often have time in the late afternoon or evenings to walk your dogs. I can also work with different schedules to best accommodate your needs. I always try and let my/your dogs lead the walk; stopping to sniff is super important! I prefer walking on the rail trails or in neighborhoods!

“I’ve known Alice for many years, and I can confidently say she’s one of the most caring and responsible people I’ve ever met—especially when it comes to animals. Her passion for pet care runs deep, and it shows in everything she does. Alice has personally taken care of my pets multiple times, and I’ve always been impressed by her attention to detail, patience, and genuine love for animals. She goes above and beyond to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Her background in animal science and hands-on experience at shelters and clinics make her not just a loving sitter, but a highly knowledgeable and professional one, too. I’ve seen firsthand how well she handles pets of all kinds, including those with medical needs or anxious temperaments. She’s also raised her own pets with incredible care—her two adopted cats are healthy, confident, and clearly thriving under her watch. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and experienced to care for your pet, Alice is the one. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.”

Chapel Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Christy was very professional and excellent communicator. She came by to meet my dog a week or so before the walk. The evening before the walk, she mentioned that it was going to be extremely hot (110 heat index!) so she offered to walk my dog earlier in the morning and later in the evening to make sure my pup stayed safe in the heat. I really appreciated that! Christy is also very personable! Highly recommend.

Madisyn walked my dog a mile twice every day while I was unable to do the walks myself. Her reliability meant I could count on her, and she always let me know in advance if she would be a bit early or a bit later than expected. She formed a lovely relationship with Gracie (my dog) who initially resisted the idea of taking a walk without me!

Alexandra has walked our dog multiple times now while we are at work during the day. She is always on time, sends immediate updates with plenty of photos, and often lingers to give extra belly rubs. We are so grateful for the extra attention our sweet Mac is getting and would highly recommend her.

Grace was an incredible dog sitter that exceeded every expectation. She provided updates on every walk and treated our Buttons with so much attention. In addition, we have heard so many good raves about her from our neighbors since we have been back. Would highly recommend to anyone to book your next service with Grace.

My two pups loved Noah as soon as they met him! He’s a great walker; polite, communicates well and in a timely manner, documents potty breaks, and is thorough in his notes regarding their activities. I love seeing the photos as my pups always look so happy! Highly recommend him for your pets’ needs!

Malei is great! She was super flexible with my schedule, which I really appreciated. She took the time to get to know my pup and her commands, and took the time to do some dog training on their walks! I really appreciate her attention to detail, training ideas, and how much she cares about my pup. 💕
